Reviews of Forge Mill Tea Room

Gorgeous little tea room on my doorstep, a bit hidden away but once you get through the doorway you're treated to a lovely open plan room with plenty of tables and space. The entrance also has access for wheelchairs and buggies.
We had breakfast which was delicious, lots of options on the menu plus a specials board. Staff were attentive and the prices were very reasonable for such a lovely venue.
We normally go to a chain pub for breakfast but we'll be coming here instead as the prices are identical and it's nice to support local where we can.
They also offer dinners and late night opening on certain nights.

Lovely little tea room. Friendly staff, yummy cake. Dog friendly inside and outside with treats 🐕🐩🐾. Cyclist friendly with area to lock your bike. Will definitely go again and absolutely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Our first visit today after discovering the place whilst searching for a bungalow on Google maps, and so glad we visited. Amazing room and decor. Service was friendly and the food was great. Highly recommended.

Lovely and cosy place to enjoy breakfast and a cup of tea. Love the decoration inside, very barn style with mix and match old furnitures that give you the warm and christmasy feeling. Also its Christmas tree is decorated with tea cups instead of the baubles. Will definitely come back and hopefully the vegetarian menus will vary 👍

Lovely tea room with lots of character!! Original mill fittings incorporated into the room. Didn't go for food, but if looks and the number of people eating there are anything to go by, it's pretty good

Gorgeous tea room with very friendly staff. Small menu but lovely food. We went as a family of four for breakfast and everyone was over the moon with their food and coffee.

I really enjoyed coming here for a drink and some absolutely delicious cakes at a good and affordable price. It is great to have somewhere like this in walking distance from my house! The whole place is lovely and clean and has a rather welcoming atmosphere. The staff are helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be returning as it's a really nice place so thank you.

A truly delightful tea room on the river Leen a short walk from the Moorbridge Tram stop. A great rest stop or finishing point for walk or cycle ride, with an excellent range of food & drink.
I would recommend if you have a group in need of a meeting place as well.

We don't live far away so stopped off on a walk. It's a lovely place old style with wooden floors and beams. We just had tea cakes and coffees. Very nice and the coffee was hot which you don't always get. Breakfasts looked good. Will definitely return

What an amazing hidden gem! My friend introduced me and now I’m hooked! The staff are lovely and so dog friendly, and their little shop has gift items that are so reasonably priced. I will be recommending to friends and neighbours alike (and anybody else that crosses my path)! 😊

Lovely tea rooms set in an old mill. Parking available. Do lg friendly. Good selection of tasty food available. Friendly helpful staff. Private room available for larger parties. Open Thursday to Sunday. Thoroughly recommended!

Very nice place, but on entering the building looks nice open fireplace filed with Christmas lights (not a fire) shame, a lovely old type radiator (cold) shame, one or the other could of made it a warmer welcome. It was a very cold entrance room. When we entered the coffee shop it was really nice, they sell gifts which looks hand made very good. Can't comment on the food as only had coffee and scones (enjoyed it) but definitely call again.

Beautifully located by the lakes the Forge Mill Tea Room has a cottage vibe, very picturesque and cute. They have a good ranged menu of specials to choose from and a normal menu with a variety of savory and sweet things to try. Plenty of drinks to choose as wel from herbal teas to fizzy pop. You'll be pleasantly surprised by random ornaments or wax melts (that smell amazing) to purchase too. You also have the opportunity to take away drink and food if you choose, definitely returning!
