Had a wonderful afternoon tea here! Absolutely top quality - sandwiches were freshly made and soft, and the scones were some of the best I’ve ever had. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back.

Everything is always so clean, well presented and fresh. The best independent in town for light lunch and cake. Simply lovely and always friendly but efficient service. The menu is always full of delicious new specials and daily changing cakes. Unlike most ‘tea rooms’ it doesn’t feel dingy or old, it is decorated tastefully and everything is done so well. A true hidden gem for anyone shopping in town wanting a LOVELY place to eat!
Y. z.
The food and service was amazing. Had a nice afternoon tea time with friend last day.
C. F. L.
Lovely food, plenty and Prosecco and lots of different tea, so cute

Lovely afternoon Tea. A little bit hidden but so you can enjoy tea without massive interruptions. Wonderfull decorated and very good in taste. You should come here!

Deliciously quaint and scrumptious little tea room nestled in the centre of Nottingham.
Wonderful service, yummy handmade cakes and the sandwiches were amazing.
The White Rabbit is the only place to go to for tea/ coffee in nottts!
There’s no wifi because they’re tucked in one of the lanes which makes it even better with no interruptions or distractions from your phone! (They are cash only as a result as they don’t have a signal for a card machine).
P.
Lovely, small, quiet tearooms serving good quality fresh (warm and cold) food along with a good selection of teas: and coffee served too. An oasis of calm, in a quiet arcade off Bridlesmith Gate: in the heart of Nottingham's retail zone.
C. F.
Lovely afternoon tea with lots of sandwiches, cakes & scones with cream & jam. Plenty of choice with various teas to drink.
S. M.
Went with three friends, very friendly, lovely choice of tea to drink, toasted sandwiches were very nice.would go again

Always lovely. Delicious food that is beautifully served by friendly, efficient staff.
China crockery adds a charm to the experience.
My favourite place for lunch in Nottingham.

Lovely little tea house tucked down a lil arcade in Nottingham, very cute and a wonderful place for a sit and a tea, friendly staff and delicious cake, be aware though it is cash only.
Covid edit - it is currently only open Wednesday to Saturday 10am til 5pm but this may change as it's only a temporary/recent change. Also there are now little tables outside to increase destiny capacity!
R. S.
Absolutely gorgeous tea room, friendly staff who catered for Gluten Free with no issues, had the prosecco Afternoon Tea and it was epic! The price was shockingly reasonable as well! Must try and will be visiting again soon.
K. F.
Absolutely loved this place. The staff are so friendly and the food is great.
B. A.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and I love the vintage vibe I get from this place. You can only pay cash for the moment.

Came here for mother's day, highly recommend! Good food, very friendly staff.
V. H.
Lovely little place, the staff were really welcoming and we enjoyed our tea.
D. S.
we dined here for dinner for a pop up event with the food provided for by Katharina. homemade amazing food !
C. H.
Lovely little tearoom away from the busy streets of Nottingham. Food and service was great, only downside was they don't take card but were very helpful in letting us know where the nearest ATM was!
R. M.
What a quaint little tea room. I had a latte and lemon drizzle cake. The cake slice was ridiculously huge and delicious so no complaints from me. A couple of things to note, you need a minimum of two guests for the afternoon tea and they only take cash. It's pretty small as well so be aware you may not be able to get a table. It's lovely though, really enjoyed by time here.
C. W.
Lovely little place with a nice atmosphere and character. Nice selection of cakes, and the tea selection they serve is excellent. Well worth a visit and highly recommended. Sadly they only take cash, but knowing about this in advance means it's not much trouble to find a cash machine ahead of time so hardly the end of the world :)
K. t.
Excellent tea room varied menu and plenty of choice and the food is fantastic especially the cakes staff very friendly and welcoming prices are very good too
S. Y.
Fantastic sponge cakes paired with a lovely cup of tea! You'll be hopping mad to miss this place!
A. K.
Was a lovely little place. friendly staff. I gave this place 4 instead of 5 as I was a little disappointed with the afternoon tea having mini scones instead of full sized ones. Would have preferred mini cake and full sized scones rather than full sized cakes and mini scones.
C.
magical, classy, charming !
BEST scones I have EVER tried...
this place is a MUST, if you visit Nottingham !!!

Booked in for a party of 8 for a baby shower. The service wasn’t great! Kept waiting for nearly an hour for food and then asked to leave as the next party was arriving. Asked 3 times for water for the table and the food whilst tasty was lacking on the amount of sandwiches. They were advertising for staff so maybe that was an issue but no apologies for delays were offered 😞
L. C.
Feel very squashed in at the table. Not sure i would go back 😕
J. B.
Lovely quaint tea room . Quality teas and food. Excellent
F. A.
The high tea serving here was great. The waitress on the other hand had a straight face the whole time. It felt like she didn't want to be there. The space is small and it was stifling hot in there - lacking ventilation for sure.
L. D.
After 3 years at university, my daughter took me here the week before she leaves. Probably saved me a fortune otherwise we would have been regulars. Cosy cafe, China tableware, silver cutlery, proper tea and warm scones. What more could you ask for, friendly staff, yes that as well. A great find.
D. S.
Just been here today and easy to pass on by as up an alley with a 'A' board advertising its presence so off we wondered to find this little hidden gem. Although small in size that to me is a good thing as quirky. We had the chicken and bacon toastie with a mixed leaf salad presented on some fancy plates. Very filling with tasty chicken inside. Friendly staff and for £16 including drinks was good value to be fair as we were both stuffed. Keep up the good work ladies and we will be back next time in the area. Just one thing thought could be done and that was perhaps a menu on the window (or 'A' board). A+
M. M.
OKish little tearoom on one of those easy-to miss alleys leading off from Bridlesmithgate. Not huge, the prices aren't too high or nicely low. There are quite a few teas to choose from, and if you want the full Afternoon Tea there are lots of options. The pastries and cakes are pretty good. Conclusion: not worth a detour, but acceptable if you're in the area.
D.
This has to be one of the most best little places I have ever been too and the food is out of this world, I loved being there and loved the food. The staff are very friendly, only one down side (cash only) but that didn't spoil my visit as I was more than happy to pay cash and leave a tip.
R. W.
A lovely vintage tea room! We visited White Rabbit Tea house yesterday, and enjoyed afternoon tea and cake for my mum's birthday. The place had a very cosy feel to it and the staff were very friendly and polite. I loved the vintage tea pots :-)
S. L.
A brilliant establishment. Catered to social distancing, the waitresses were very accommodating and the food was wonderful. We will be back!
C. M.
This is a simply beautiful little tea room, hidden down an alley, off a shopping street but what a gem, wonderful afternoon teas with sandwiches, scones & cakes, might be worth pre booking as it was busy constantly and so relaxing enjoying the food that time slips away from you....
L. L.
Just what was required! relaxed, beautifully presented by polite staff. Really fresh and tasty food. Certainly preferable to the other multiple high street offerings! Thank you and see you all again soon! Lance.
G. E. M.

C. P.
Friendly staff, very good prices, support local business and you actually save money rather than paying more to the chain businesses.

(Translated) Very pleasant tea room, original decor that takes us into a magical world. Cozy atmosphere
The tea time menu is reasonably priced and very well supplied. The scones are truly exceptional! I recommend them to you. The chai tea is very nice and not too spicy.
