Reviews of Colombia Coffee Roasters.

My favourite coffee shop in Oxford!!! The coffee quality is top notch :) you can taste the coffee even in caffe latte and it is just exceptional taste. Red honey is my favourite but their limited editions are fantastic as well. Their lunch deal of sandwich, fruit and ice cream deal is fantastic too!
Their various brewing techniques make me so happy and always enjoy trying different methods :) Japanese syphon is really smooth and really great for sharing as well. I love the care that goes into each cups and other items in the shop is really good as well. Focaccia was phenomenal and their hot chocolate is a must try :)
I have not tried the pizza yet but would love to try them in the future :) it would be interesting to see if the sandwiches can be made warmer and the coffee beans prices are steep for students so having some discounted coffee beans per month could be nice since I cannot buy them every month due to high price. It will also be lovely if we can bring back the coffee bags for refill so that we can get some discounts this way. Highly recommend and will be back very sooon!!

Found this place by chance, because I happened to book a place nearby. You know I liked it, because, at the time of writing, I've been there 3 times. On the first time, I had my coffee to go, but it's worth to sit and enjoy each sip. On the second time, I tried a nice V60 filter coffee sitting down. On the third time, I went all the way with a perfect Aeropress and a slice of carrot cake. I'll definitely go back for that fourth time.

Best coffee in Summertown; skip the chains and head to the northernmost corner and enjoy the brew. Ample outdoor seating and nice to hear the staff speaking Spanish, with some nice Latin American treats for the local touch.

Best coffee in Summertown and a pleasant place to spend an afternoon. presume it is artisan or something so expect that kind of price range. The staff is friendly and serve well. It has a little store that offers interesting food items. The coffee never disappoints.

This place has become my go-to morning coffee spot. The pastries are wonderful, the coffee is light-years ahead of my conference coffee, and the portion sizes are just right. The staff is also very nice and helpful when it comes to understanding the different menu options.

What a wonderful place to have in your neighbourhood! Great coffee, plus bagels, wine, ice cream, cake , fresh veg , loads of outdoor seating.. . It reminded me of somewhere id find in wine country California. Lovely.

We stayed across the street at the Easyhotel, for a week and came here for coffee every morning. Hotel guests get a 10% discount. The staff were always friendly and the coffee consistently good.

I walk past here almost every day and decided to try their coffee and something sweet to match it. I got a cortado and a chocolate croissant. Both were absolutely devine. The coffee was the best coffee I've tasted! The shop is small but filled to the brim with goodies such as fruit and veg, pastries and other edible goods. The atmosphere and decor is warm and inviting. The price is bit high but well worth it most definitely.
I highly recommend and will definitely go back for another cortado!

Excellent coffee (the dirty chai was sublime). Cakes could be better and are overpriced. Lacking vegan lunch options, sometimes there are none. Customer service has been varied but mostly quite poor on the several occasions I've visited, as others have commented on
S. M.
My favorite place in oxford.
The coffee and pastries that they had are so delicious.
J. M.
Excellent coffee - I got an oat milk cappuccino and can say that it was, without a doubt, the best coffee I have had in the UK. The price is comparable to nearby alternatives and I will certainly be back for another drink.
On the flip side, the almond croissant was a let down and ended up in the bin after a few bites. It had insufficient filling, if any, and all flavour was overpowered by excessive icing sugar on top. I will stick to just the drinks next time.

It is a lovely rustic fresh goods store. A tad new on the Summertown scene.
They have a robust menu of artisanal coffees/smoothies/fruit juices. I had a Mestiva( Very dark hot chocolate made from Colombian cacao) which unfortunately got to me cool so had to get home to reheat to embrace the flavours. Worth a visit. Definitely.
I found this sign outside their doors quite... touching and true. Let's re-awaken humanity in the post CoVID world.

A great selection of coffees, cakes and smoothies. Went for the Japanese syphon which was very reasonably priced at 3.95 :) and a very gooey and yummy peanut butter brownie. A great find!
A. D.
Best speciality coffee in Oxford, sustainable direct trade with family farm in Columbia. Cakes are to die for. Great indoor and outdoor seating areas, disabled access and great staff. Small business done right 👌🏻
H. M.
Fragrant coffee with sun! Nothing is more perfect than this👌
O. B.
This is our regular place, and I think it's the nest in Summertown. The coffee is delicious!
К. С.
Best place for lunch ! Nice food and delicious coffee.
A. F.
Fantastic coffee! The quality is incredible... The home made brownies are to die for!!!
C. L.
The staff is sooo sweet, showed me the WiFi passwords personally and brought out each item to my table.
E. P.
The best coffee in Summertown (and extensive research has been carried out!). Delicious cakes, plus excellent freshly-made pizza at the weekends. Really interesting and carefully chosen local produce, bit pricey but you get what you pay for! Top tip: expect a wait, but it'll be worth it!
M. E.
Very good specialist coffee shop selling pastries, brownies, and farm produce. This is the second branch, the first is the one in the covered market. They use the same beans that are roasted there so the bean quality is very good. However, the coffee served isn't the same excellent quality as the one in the covered market. It's lacking depth, and strength in it's flavour. Otherwise it's a decent coffee, just not the same standard. The shop is quite large, there's seating inside and out which is covered. They have locally produced vegetables for sale, butter, cheeses, and yogurts are available in the fridge. There's limited off street parking opposite which you can park for up to 2 hours. If you're in the Summertown area then this is the best coffee available, if you're in Oxford City centre then the covered market branch is the best.
A. W.
Fantastic coffee shop with a good variety of fresh produce too.
The coffee menu is varied without being over the top. The same can be said for their cake and pastry selection too.
I came away with a cappuccino and chocolate brownie today, coffee was smooth and tased fantastic and the brownie was amazing.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming and it would be a nice spot for a break when normality resumes.

My first time in Oxford and my first time to try Colombia Coffee Roasters! I would highly recommend this lovely independent store with its delightfully unusual fruit and vegetables. Alas I had only time for a coffee and a croissant but both were well worth it, specialty coffee expertly crafted to my specifications. Thanks guys, you made my day!
A.
The shop is amazing, wonderful high ceiling, lovely produce. I didn't find the staff to be friendly or well-informed, and I didn't like the coffee, but I like good old-fashioned Italian coffee and this is the trendy bitter stuff that people are serving these days. My friend said her tea was excellent, and it did look good, and she's fussier than me.
P. C. M. R.
Simply the best coffee in Summertown
L. O. S.
Spent £21 on two coffees and two pizzas, the coffees were very small 8oz for the price and pizzas where also very small like 7/8" very expensive for takeaway.
J. P.
Went with a friend this morning. He had mint tea, which he said was excellent and made from chopped mint leaves. I had coffee, which was great. Highly recommend.
A. R.
Will keep this short and sweet. Great coffee and friendly service on a busy Saturday morning. What's not to like. Thanks!
J. S.
Good selection of hot drinks.I’ve tried the matcha latte and it was good.
K.
Lovely independent coffee shop. I personally love the coffee here and think its delicious, for some maybe too bitter but coffee is very subjective so it's one of those things you just have to try and see! Prices are steep over £3 a coffee and paying extra for non dairy milk BUT if you like a good cup of coffee I do think its worth indulging. Friendly staff and lovely colombian manager. Muy bien! :)
E. A.
What great coffee and customer service! This place is always my go to when in Oxford! The coffee is fantastic - fresh and fuels you up for the day. The customer service is also friendly, efficient and attentive. Love it here and highly recommend for a good cup of coffee!
R. I.
Good coffee and vibe. Staff a little negligent.
R. H.
Very friendly staff. Great selection of pastries, croissant, juices and smoothies, fresh sandwiches and of course coffee. Local favourite for breakfast and lunch
A.
Amazing coffee and hot chocolate options, not a lot of good brekky items other than pre made bagels and things.
K. M.
Quality coffee. Starting to sell local beers too 👍
D. L.
Nice coffee place with good farm produce too. Very busy on Saturday, waited 15 minutes for coffee, so do be mindful if in a hurry.
T. P.
Awesome Sierra Nevada hot chocolate! Literally the best I've ever had, and my friends said the coffee's just as good.
Let's help these sorts of cafes flourish in Oxford! 😁
K. M.

S. S. &. B. D.
Coffee, cakes, pastries, warm soups and fresh produce. Lovely ambience for bright Saturday morning
S. D.
Same unbeatable coffee as in its sister premises in the covered market. Nowhere else compares. Also offers great alternatives for different dietary requirements, which can be hard to find in Oxford.
Love it!
M. C.
Best coffee in Oxford! Great location in summertown, with outdoor seating so quite bike friendly as well. Staff are friendly and wide selection of amazing coffees

Probably the best coffee in Oxford, and incredible raspberry brownie too, in an airy space with friendly staff. Can't believe I've only just found this place, will definitely go back.

C. W.
Really good coffee and fresh produce, really nice place to people watch on a warm day. Slightly pricey but the stuff is all good quality

M. L. F.
Milly Barr and her team make, I truly believe, the finest coffee in Oxford
A. S.
I love the coffee of this place!! The thing I like the most is that the products you can buy there directly help farmers in Colombia.
M. H.
The best coffee in Oxford, without any doubt. Rich and popping with caffeine zing. The cakes are excellent, too.
s. s.
Great food, very friendly staff.
G. B.
This was a great stop on the way to North Wall exhibition. Delicious coffee and vegan banana bread. Lovely to sit in the sunshine
K. E.
Lovely flat white and great pastries but the whole place is much more with fresh groceries on sale too
K. G.
Great location, mediocre everything else.
S. D.
Lovely smooth coffee but expensive at £3.60. Same for the produce. £3 for a box of eggs that are £1.75 in our village shop. ...
t. n.
I personally recommend the Mestiza, but everything else is das as delicious and the stuff is friendly and welcoming. But the prices are a little high for the small size of the portions.
A. J.
Coffe was very good but got a bagel bread instead of sourdough and wasn't told, I'm just 'ot a fan of bagel
F. U.
Great Hot Chocolate! Come here a lot as I work upstairs and the atmosphere is buzzing and the staff are really nice and fun!
J. B.
Ben testing some new Quinoa milk for us. The coffee (and our new plant based milk) were great!

(Translated) Before the lockdown, the inside of the store was also a cafe seat, but now it is an organic vegetable section. It sells takeaway coffee, bread and fruit juices. About 4 types of original packs of coffee beans are also sold.
