A. A.Lovely setting. Staff were So friendly. The food was delicious, especially the foragers toast and the tater tots! I definitely want to come back for a Sunday roast and try the vegan cakes!
R. V.We found this on our bike ride and were looking for a place where the bikes would be safe, served coffee and vegetarian food. We were very happy to see this cafe that ticks all the boxes and more. The front is small with benches outside and a window for people to buy coffee/food to take away or eat in the front (we saw many with pets who do that) and inside is a 3 level area with coffee machines/cakes/croissants on display.
There is a good choice of sandwiches or vegan burgers. The coffee was strong and was a much needed pick up and asked for the Royale which is a vegan patties and another potato like with caramelised onions.
Very friendly staff and definitely recommend to check out the place if you are in the area
K.This is THE ONLY spot I will visit for a coffee while in Oxford!! Luckily you can also take their own roast home (pre ground woo)
On Saturday we stopped in for a coffee and had the delicious pancakes - super indulgent but totally worth a little gym time for these super fluffy beauties! We found we were in luck that weekend as they were offering not 1 but 3 vegan roast options from midday Sunday - would have been rude not to stop back!
Its been known that I can be fussy but I was overjoyed and loving my roast wellington. The veg was flavourful and not overdone, Spuds were crispy outside and fluffy within — we will be back!!

t. t.We were happy to find a vegan cafe. Coffee was ok, stuff was friendly and we ordered 2 pancakes and a french toast (pics). We were hungry and had to eat them but they were -I am sorry but- bad. They were like just taken ready from somewhere, the chill of, lots of sauce, some fruit and set before the customers. I think that would be better if they think more of pastries. I haven’t tried savouries but they were looking good.

J.My partner and I absolutely love Green Routes Cafe. Service is friendly, decor is so pretty and the food is phenomenal. We had the Neuvos Rancheros and French Toast with a hot chocolate and orange juice. Incredible!

D. V.Such a lovely cafe with great menu and it is so incredible that it is all vegan!!!! Royale was so delicious and sloppy joe was super good too! Having some fans inside could be good to have a bit more air circulation but other than this good hygiene kept by cleaning the tables after usage and a lot of staff wearing masks! Coffee was really lovely too :)! Having a stronger matcha latter could be an option since it was a little weak but other than this great place and highly recommend!! Would love to also have some student discounts as well.

The bap was soft and tasted great with a generous portion of the homemade pesto scrambled tofu and mylky mayo🤤with a handful of rocket which was really fresh🥰addition of sun dried tomatoes had made the bap more flavourful 👍🏿

A. D.Great atmosphere, friendly staff and outdoor seating too. Coffee and vegan food are excellent. My favourites are the full English vegan breakfast and sloppy joe! Popular venue and not large so occasionally have to wait for a table, but worth it!

The place is really nicely designed over a sort of mezzanine floor - it is cosy in winter and convivial in summer. Works well for families or slightly larger groups as well. Highly recommended.

One of the best VEGAN breakfasts I've ever had anywhere. So many things in it (Veg Sausage, Veg Bacon, Baked Beans, Hash Browns, Mushrooms, Tofu Scramble). Mouthwatering I assure you! Huge portions too! I mean Huge! At a very reasonable price.

And such a GREAT VIBE . Some places have good food but no vibe to speak of. But at Green Routes you'll Feel the Force! Feel the LOVE!
Just to say I am not related to or friends with anyone who works there. Ditto my girlfriend (who had an equally wonderful and delicious Big Green Salad). We're both simply very HAPPY CUSTOMERS .
