Reviews of Yellow Submarine Charity

Lovely little cafe decked out in Yellow Submarine theme serving great sandwiches and coffee. Seating is limited to half a dozen of counter seats. Popular cafe from the queue of people ordering takeaways while we were there.

The Staff were friendly and welcoming introduced themselves and even told about the aim of the Cafe which is training young people who have learning disabilities many skills required in running the Cafe with a view to getting future employment.
The food was tasty and reasonably priced along with a large Mocha to die for,
I totally recommend the Yellow Submarine Cafe.

Perfect lunch spot for fresh sandwiches with delicious and generous fillings. Amazing carrot cake! Great to support local.

Cool music, friendly staff and a great cup of tea (try the Oxford Brew), all for a very reasonable price close to the station! :)

Good coffee, but absolutely no seating. Great spot to drop by for coffee, but definitely no place to study or work or eat. Staff asked (very politely albeit) me and my roommate to leave to free up seating because we took up the only two seats to study after buying coffee.

I wanted to make it clear that their service, coffee, and charity are incredible and I enjoyed my experience! I simply wanted to post a review so university students would know that it is not the best spot to camp out to do homework. It is, however, a great spot to drop in for coffee or a to go lunch.

A lovely little gem in Oxford. I heard it was a cafe supported by a charity for young adults with additional needs and I had to come by! I was served by a lovely young man and the coffee was delicious. Then went back for a bacon sandwich. So wonderful to see a business actually making a difference in people's lives.

Excellent initiative, delicious coffee and I had a great sandwich 'Vegetable Patch'. It was a refreshingly unusual veggie choice, with minty broad bean paste...mmmm! Lots of other lovely sandwiches and cakes on offer, and a bright, sunshiney vibe in the cafe too... highly recommended

I've just had some Millionaire's Brownies and Lemon Shortbread Flower's delivered to my home and they are delicious and were beautifully packaged. Looking forward to visiting the cafe some time when possible. Thank you!

Love coming here! Great for lunch. It's not only a good lunch stop but it also supports people with disabilities. Encouraging them to work, build skills and communication. Lovely team and great sandwiches, coffee and desserts! Highly recommend. The packaging for takeaways are compostable which is a huge plus for me!

I can't think of anywhere better to get my morning coffee - you walk in and are greeted by smiling faces and helpful staff/volunteers. The coffee is great, service is the friendliest in Oxford and you leave with your faith in humanity restored, ready for a day at work.

Used to work next door and visited almost every day. Food is standard sandwich shop stuff but always perfectly prepared, smoothies are delicious and atmosphere is perfect - very friendly and totally unpretentious.

I went to this place for a different reason and stumbled into what is a great cafe that offers a brilliant service by passionate staff and quality in food. when i enquired more about the place i found out about the project which amazed me even more and made me want to recommnend this place to everyone i know. SERIOUSLY projects like this have far reaching benefits to our community here in oxford. So forget starbucks, pret, costa and so on and go here where it makes a difference. SUPPORT! SUPPORT! SUPPORT!
