m. f.Been here a few times. Once for smoothie which I sat in and had. The smoothie was lovely and the place was friendly and welcoming.
I often pop in for a hot chocolate now the weather is cooler and take it back to work with me. It tastes lovely and there are always some delicious cakes to get alongside it. Lovely and friendly for all ages.

Even the toilet sets a new standard of decor. Brilliant.

Ordered a couple of drinks and cakes (can tell they are from the local bakery, the Muffin Oven! Good choice 😋). We paid £4.50 each for a coffee and cake which I think is great and cheaper than other local places.
Poppies has the feel of a small independent business that makes you feel really welcome and I don't think any of the other local ones quite have that. The others feel more corporate and lack that friendliness and warmth.
Will absolutely be back and I really hope they can make it work 😊

p. a.what a great place, friendly, welcoming and great tasting frappes / coffees / cakes etc....perfect breakfasts all at great value prices compared to bigger brand and non-brand competition. Don't go anywhere else !
