We booked afternoon tea for 8 people on Saturday 25th September, and we were not disappointed. One of our party was lactose intolerant so they adapted the menu accordingly, after a phone call discussing what could and could not be eaten. Service was quick and the staff were friendly, the food was delicious and the savoury items were served hot. Would recommend anyone who visits Plymouth to book afternoon tea at Chocaccino!

Very friendly staff, yummy cakes and great coffee. Look out for this very nice and clean cafe just before you get to Plymouth Gin coming from the Barbican on the left hand side.

We came for a chocolate making morning which was absolutely wonderful - we were made to feel like VIPs and went away have learnt so much about making chocolates - as well as armful of chocolates we had made ourselves! Highly recommend learning how chocolates are made here, it was such a fun experience.

If you like chocolate then this is the café for you. We had a group meal which includes drink, sandwiches, cream tea, and chocolates and cakes, all served up by the friendly and helpful staff. Great for small groups or individuals.

Quaint little cake shop. Don't expect fast service or a cheap fix and you will not be disappointed. Excellent tea and cakes. I personally recommend the savoury cheese scone. They also hold cake and chocolate making classes - should be a giggle with kids!

Quaint little cafe, friendly staff, swift service. Lovely chocolates with a wide selection available, located in the Barbican which itself is a lovely place. Only 1 star down because they provided a menu for the chocolates I had purchased that did not match the chocolates I had bought. So I was left guessing... whilst this was an experience in of itself, if a menu is being provided it should be accurate.

Used Chocaccino many times and they've always been great. From our wedding cake through to Xmas goody boxes it's always been high quality chocolate and service with a smile. I couldn't reccomend them more highly.

Ashley is a superb confectioner/baker. I asked for a bespoke birthday cake which she did. It was wonderful and my son’s reaction - “this cake is amazing” The shop smells so chocolatey that it’s worth a visit for that alone! Thank you it was gorgeous 💕

I had a great visit here on Saturday with my wife, sister and grandma. My grandma had a few dietary restrictions that she was a little worried about. A female member of staff was really great and made my grandma feel a lot calmer. The drinks and food we were served were really good.

Best chocolate and cake in Plymouth, hands down! Best carrot cake in the universe! Decent tea and coffee too, oh yeah and the afternoon tea/cream tea is incredible too! There isn't anything negative to say about this place at all, except maybe that is small and is sometimes full but that's not really a problem as it's only like it at peak times, understandable considering its location!

The best cake! Such a good variety and everything is so fresh and tasty. Never been let down, but really impressed with the last visit and the white chocolate Victoria sponge. Really good value for money and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. A great small business

Blown away. We went here last week and i have to say bravo. The chocolate was so very nice. The location is perfectly situated on the Barbican a stone's throw from the sea and all the other quirky shops. We were served by a young blonde lady (Emily or ebony) who made myself and my wife feel very welcome (makes all the difference) the lady interacted with us and recommended different cakes and drinks which was perfect as we do not usually stop in places such as this and gave us information on where all the attractions were. I had a hot chocolate and some cheese cake (both were the best I've tasted) look forward to seeing you again in the summer. Keep up the good work.

The Hot Chocolate drink was the best I have ever tasted. We tasted one of the home made chocolates and immediately bought a box. There are too many flavours to describe but they taste devine. Their range of Easter Eggs is fantastic so are their home made celebration cakes. The food served here is well worth it. You must try our this place when you are next in Plymouth. We certainly will.

This place has one of the greatest afternoon teas in Plymouth. The chocolate based afternoon tea is well worth not only the money but a trip into Plymouth and the nightmare to park on the barbican. A lovely selection of things to take away if you haven't the time to stop and stay. The chocolate sauce is quite simply the greatest thing you can imagine in food.

I highly recommend this place. Located on the barbican opposite the house that Jack built..Beside The gog and Margog A Wetherspoons pub. It's sells the most Amazing chocolates And cakes..and the most Amazing drinks all types of coffees lattee cappuccino espresso Mocca various Teas and various hot chocolates to die for cold drinks. The are cakes all made by the owner. There to die for there huge. You get a very generous slice enough to share. Cakes are also made to order. Can eat on the premises or takeaway.. They sell various cakes , cheesecakes , muffins ,shortbread. My favourite is the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake.. They have chocolates gifts you can buy. hand made chocolates. High teas of cakes and samwishes. Its a very Cosy place. Always Very clean.. Its very popular with visitors Tourists. A very friendly place. Keep very clean. Has a very comfortable leather setter you can sit on.. A restroom. It's not wheelchair access. I love this place cosy to sit and relax..

Really nice afternoon tea for two with a definite chocolate emphasis: a plate of sandwiches, 4 scones (two being rather good choc chip scones) with jam and clotted cream and a plate of petit fours to finish. Too much to eat but a souvenir box to bring home. 😊
