Went to Cuerden cafe today for afternoon tea for my Daughters birthday. There were 6 of us and could not fault the service and pleasant staff. We were given so much food that we took some home for tea. Would definitely recommend it for breakfast lunch or even a drink and sandwich or cake. Good value and pleasant surroundings. Thank you for making my daughters birthday so good. 🥰

Come here very often and never fails to dissapoint the food and the coffee is really good. You can take your dogs too, baby change is really good. Even have towels for your dogs if they are wet. Would highly recommend for a lunch to finnish off a walk

Absolutely superb little cafe with lovely views over the park. Great to pop in for some warming food and drink after a winter walk. Always really tasty grub and good portions. Delicious coffee and cakes look amazing. Really friendly staff and excellent service.

Went for business breakfast with colleagues. Amazingly busy but service was still good. Scrambled egg and sourdough toast was lovely. Drink options for diabetics limited ( but that is an industry problem to be honest) good value. Our server was lovely and friendly and as a dog lover it was nice to see all the visiting doggies 🐕 😀

There was a wait to get seated. It is clearly a very popular place. If you go to cureden Park then it's a lovely walk through up to the cafe for a bite to eat. The biggest plus for me is they allow dogs inside, there is also an outside section. The tables are nice and big, the staff were soo lovely even though they were short staffed that day and were all at full throttle. The food was good, and they also sell sauseges for dogs! The view is lovely overlooking the park. Will absolutly be going again.

Sorry for the 3 stars, but quite disappointed this morning. Normally everything is superb. Pot of tea over £2.00, okay as it supports the Valley, but please use decent tea bags, it was like dishwater, weak and tasteless. Poached eggs great, but please drain the water off. My toast was resting on the water residue and spoilt the nice bread.

One of my favorite local cafes overlooking beautiful Cuerden Valley. Dogs are welcome and muddy shoes too, even after tromping around beautiful Cuerden park. COVID procedures are excellent. Customers are seated and wait to be served, with a strict max capacity. I like the loos here. Compost toilets that are environmentally friendly and in vogue with the nature friendly vibe of this bright and spacious cafe. Oh and do try the cakes. The earl grey and lemon sponge is divine.

So I have stopped giving 5 star reviews, unless I am totally blown away. This cafe was very very good. They are complying with all the covid regs and policies and still giving a brilliant service. All the staff were polite, friendly and professional. The coffee was as good as any I have had and the cakes were delicious. My friend paid, so I cannot comment on the cost, but all three in our group gave the cafe 10 out of 10. It is also situated next to the brilliant Cuerden Valley Park.

Excellent choice of food. Usually lots of delicious cakes. Usual Covid 19 precautions. Interesting and very environmentally impressive building with straw bale construction, much of which was done by newly retired professionals.

What a lovely joy it was to visit the takeaway this morning. Smiling faces adhering to safety rules, fantastic food choice. We could even sit out on the bench tables, the rain had stopped. If I closed my eyes it was nearly normal.

First time I have visited the cafe, I took my son ,who was visiting , as a treat. We were also able to take my dog in the cafe which was a bonus. The food was excellent & for the price the sandwich was huge & came with salad, coleslaw & crisps . The staff were very friendly especially the guy that came to take our plates away. Well done to all the staff i will definitely be coming back. Nice views as well

Lovely dog friendly cafe with a beautiful view! A little on the expensive side but food was lovely! Staff helpful and polite. Indoor and outdoor seating (on a very nice balcony). Outdoors there are rings to tie dogs to and bowls of water. No smoking allowed on balcony. Toilets are immaculate. Loss of star as only sauce available was tomato or brown. No mayonnaise or salad cream.

Made the most of the view, nice cafe. Large cakes, nice crockery. Unfortunately their Till system went down when we tried to pay which would’ve been fine but wasn’t handled well by the member of staff as they’re was no communication for what was happening so I was stood waiting to pay holding my toddler for 10 mins before he said I should sit down as it’s going to take a while.

Drinks were really lovely, really appreciated my extra hot hot chocolate! Was disappointed with the cake we had though :( we had chocolate sparkle cake - it wasn't very chocolatey, and was a little stale. Prices for cakes are also unclear - menu says from £2, we were charged nearly £4 a slice

Cafe is currently open but *take away* only due to the obvious and the toilets are closed. Staff as lovely and helpful as always and the cake selection is still excellent. Reeses rocky Road gets 10/10.

It's a really nice cafe with a fantastic view. The building is very eco build. Great facilities for park users. Would be 5 stars but the food and drink are pricey, which I can accept, but the logistics they have for serving people are poor, so the long queues for the till at weekends usually drive us away, especially if we want a quick drink.

Lovely array of cakes and good choice on the menu. Nice staff and efficent service. Realise that as it is situated in a park you will get a lot of customers with dogs but not all of us are dog lovers. Perhaps you could consider making part of the cafe dog free? I really don't want to be surrounded by dogs whilst I'm eating.

Good choice of food, nice views. Only one thing that lets it down are SOME selfish dog owners. I frequently visit the cafe with & without my dog, & it never ceases to amaze me that some dog owners do not try & quieten their dogs down if they start barking inside the café. People go in the cafe to relax, but often find it off putting when there's a dog constantly barking inside. I wouldn't dream of letting my dog bark constantly anywhere, never mind in a small public space such as a café, but sadly some dog owners think it's acceptable. Management - Please be more strict, by telling people to sit outside with their dogs if they can't sit quietly. Currently you just ignore it.

We Absolutely love curden valley, its a great place to take the dog and watch 3 hours fly by. Theres woods, feilds, streams and a ford to play in. Amble dog bins and a superb cafe to eat in and look out at the beautiful vista of curden valley and best part is being able to let of dog off to run and play. Parking is very reasonable to 2.20 for 4 hours and 3 car parks

I love the cafe all the staff are really friendly and polite and always keep themselves busy, the coffee is amazing and served in nice cottage style cups ..... the cakes and scones..... well as I run round Cuerden on a 10k I always feel really guilty and even looking at the cakes... there the size of your head and taste amazing, they serve hot food and its fast and well cooked
