Went in to buy tickets for the Mexican evening and decided to have lunch. Had lemongrass and ginger tea and chose the salmon hash with green beans and fried egg. Was cooked to perfection and thought licking the plate would be rude! The ladies who run it are warm and friendly, chef was a bit of eye candy! 🤣🤣 Very relaxed , like sitting in your best mates lounge!!! Highly recommended!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍

So glad to have found this little gem of a cafe! The food is delicious and home made (cakes to die for 😋).
Extremely friendly, quirky, lovable completely... can't wait to return!
Look out for the open mic, poems, repairs hope too! Very different, and well worth a visit.

Formerly Ham & Jam, The Larder is now under different ownership.
It's a cafe that sources its ingredients locally so the menu can change depending on the produce available. They can keep waste & CO² emissions low as a result. Profits are fed back into the community.
It's a lovely place. Clean, colourful, well presented & the people working there are really friendly, which always helps a business. The food was great & I had a drink I've never seen before - rhubarb & rosehip pop. Lovely. Local artists are encouraged to display work on their walls. They have a website which shows regular events at the cafe. Toilets were clean & there is disabled access.

Exactly what a Coffee shop should be, very warm.and friendly atmosphere, beautiful decor. Very nice to see a business so involved with the community, regular art/music events. Also sells a range of organic foods which is nice, everyhting on the menu locally sourced within a 30 mile radius. Had the Venison Chroizo Egg Sandwich, was just what I need for Lunch. Will be back again soon, keep up the good work. 😊

Fantastic cafe and community hub, we love The Larder, so happy this place has opened!!! They sell seasonal food hence a mixed menu, but that's the point, to eat seasonally is what they're about and promote. Delicious food and fab service, will definitely be back. Also couldn't believe its a dog friendly cafe so we could bring our pooch too, such a rare find. Please support this amazing local business, things like this don't come along very often : )))

Delicious breakfast food, interesting furniture and beautiful paintings! Love the idea of supporting charities and local produce suppliers too. Would just like the menus to be placed on the tables 😊

Good food but service can sometimes be a little slow. This is made up for by the super friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
