I love this place every time I go. The staff are friendly, the food is great if sometimes a little slow, and they have so many teas to choose from. It gets very busy around weekend lunchtimes so best times to eat are outside those times.

What a magnificent joy it was to discover this Prestonian jewel open again after Bonzonian national curfew! We used to frequent the Mystery Tea House and under its new management found it was as good as ever. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, the staff very friendly and not to mention the ambience and character filled premises. An absolute joy and well recommended.

Visited for the first time today, had the new yorker toastie with side of roast potatoes. Which were both lovely and good portion size. Tried the mokka cream black tea, enjoyed it so much I ended up buying a bag to take home. Lovely, clean environment, great ambience, friendly staff. Look forward to returning. AMAZING place! If you're a vegan, you have to go here at least once. The tea is very well priced and they have so many options! I got the vegan wrap which is absolutely amazing, the portion sizes are great and I'd also recommend the apple and cinnamon dumplings as well. The owner is really lovely and the atmosphere is beautiful. A must go for any vegans in Preston.

An absolute gem in Preston city centre down a quaint little side Jamaican Stew (vegan option) with plantain and Italian salad with garlic bread. Everything was so fresh and flavoursome we are already looking forward to coming back :) I've tried their freshly brewed detox tea and digestion tea which are great and come with a pot of honey to sweeten. My mum said the coffees are great!

The best tea shop I have ever visited, with its wonderful, helpful and lovely staff. A selection of teas like no other and amazingly good wholesome food that just brings happiness into your life. It is the best place in Preston to meet friends and chat away the day, or curl up with a book and your favourite tea. With indoor and outdoor seating and lovely music, I can't recommend this tea shop enough!

Many vegan choices, I had 8x mushroom and cabbage dumplings (pierogi) which were amazing, perfect to share or as a main. The dough was perfectly cooked and the filling had so much flavour, a real Umami taste, hat's off to the chef! They have a massive selection of tea (in a pot) which gives up to 3 cups! Lovely interior, a real experience. 10/10

If you love tea this is the place to go. There are some cake and biscuit type offerings too, but it's all about the exotic teas. Browse the extensive tea menu for your beverage of choice, which will be served in sweetly random, shabby chic mismatched crockery. When I visited the staff were lovely and the customer service excellent. Sadly this establishment loses 1 star because the toilet is in the basement, down a flight of scarily steep and narrow stairs, and it's not nicely furbished. But strong bladder allowing, this is a lovely, atmospheric venue.

They also do great cake, lovely soup, and are an established friendly local business, so please give your money to them rather than the big internationals... 😊

Absolutely superb place. Been going for the best part of 7 years and I'm made so so comfortable and welcome each time. A big change from the monotonous chain coffee houses, and does a stellar brew (of which there is an incredible amount of choice!) Food is great too - a good amount of tasty vegan options too. Can't recommend here enough. My home away from home!

Large variety of teas, tried a selection with friends and they were all very tasty. The fish burger looked great, and some good flavours in the toastie my partner had, but I ordered the jamaican stew and although flavours were decent, it came with a fried banana rather than the plantain as in the menu description (which was the most disappointing thing for me as I love plantain and this was the only reason i ordered the jamaican stew!). Nice decor and atmosphere, clean bathrooms downstairs.

This is a lovely little tea shop, with a cute folksy vibe. There's literally hundreds (well, a hundred at least) different teas to choose from. My wife had a traditional tea, and I had an apple and cinnamon tea which was delicious. All the teas come in a lovely ceramic tea pot and cup, you never know what design you will get as they are all different. There's lots of different juices to choose from too, including unusual ones such as cactus juice. We didn't eat, but there were lots of sandwiches, toasties, soups and salads on the menu, and judging from the plates coming out from the kitchen these appear to be fantastic.

The most relaxing place in Preston. I've been going since it opened in 2009 and haven't tried all the tea yet. Delightfully welcoming staff, always a friendly face. The wild mushroom soup and mystery cake are favourites of mine, genuinely tasty food. Plus loose leaf teas you can take home to spread the joy.

Positive vibes, great food, huge selection of teas and excellent hosting from the owner Natalia.I have discovered this place in 2009 and ever since I become one of their most loyal customers. This is a rather quirky place so you need to be open minded and positive about the mismatch of chairs and slightly "hippy" style atmosphere but this is part of their charm. You can have your own individual pot of tea or tea for two people. My favourite is jasmine tea and BoraBora tea.The food is amazing, simple but very very delicious. Suggest to try vegan kezelt and rice salad. Portions are generous and price is very reasonable. The place also caters for vegans and vegetarians. Natalia is very friendly and treat you like you are part of the family. Definitely suggest to visit, you wont regret it!

Its easier to list the bad things about this place: its closed on mondays. Honestly my favourite cafe/ tea house and the food (plenty of tasty and veggie/ vegan choice) is amazing and made with love. The teas are always delicious and the choices are very broad. Staff are always really welcoming and has the most positive atmosphere of any place i know.
