R. F.Great coffee and fancy food at reasonable prices. I had a flat white and rose & pistachio porridge (totalling £6.70), both looked lovely and super tasty. Staff are very nice and cheerful too. Happy to come back in the future.

I absolutely loved the caramel gelato with crunchy chunks of solid caramel, a delight indeed. Very refreshing and lovely space especially with the hanging book chandeliers and Map of “Reading” on the wall.. I’d love to pick this place for projects that involve thinking, discussion and a savory taste of amazing Gelato ❤️❤️❤️🍧❤️❤️❤️

S. L.Great coffee and it's a very comfortable place to be, plus plenty of space for a pram which other coffee venues can struggle with. The Spanish rose latte is deliciously sweet and I would recommend to anyone wanting their sugar fix with a caffeine kick.

D. S.Nice coffee, a tasty snack of tuna and cheese toastie. Staff helpful and smiling. Decor dated but 'interesting!' massive map of Reading on wall, lampshades are piles of books! Some even opened, not sure anyone could read them from down here though. A friendly place and quite full,also open later than most coffee shops. More interesting than a chain shop, but could use some comfortable sofas to complement the furnishings. Still decent place.

N. S.This place has just opened and they definitely deserve the 5 stars! The team are amazing. They were all really nice and extremely helpful. I have a dairy intolerance and they walked me through all of the options they had that fit my needs. The manager is also really friendly. Quite a few of them were vegan and one also had a dairy intolerance so if you relate then you will definitely feel at home as they know exactly what you can have. Me and my partner ordered the following: banoffee wafflepop (delicious, soft, sweet), customized shake - banana flavoured (tasted amazing and really did taste like bananas!), Biscoff cookie dough (crunchy, sweet, warm). Everything was a great value for money. We did it as a take out and the boxes had cute messages on like stay safe and Love from Bru. We will definitely be going back and soon! Go give them a try.

J. K.Came in to try out this coffee shop as they are new and haven’t seen them before. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and the staff me never attended to me quickly to take my order. I ordered myself a large caramel latte and I think that their flavoured coffee is better than Costa as you can really taste the caramel.
This is more than just a coffee shop as they have sandwiches, cake and gelato to serve as well which is good for bringing your kids in on the weekends when you’re out in town doing your shopping.
I would recommend everyone to try Bru out as it’s more than just a coffee shop. The atmosphere is brilliant and the staff members make your visit even better.

The best thing is that the food is HALAL💯 and is something incredible.
Staff was friendly and ready to help, they gave us hot drink for free as is the second day of the opening.

H.I went to today and was served by a lovely young man called yahya. He gave me good recommendations and helped me decide what to order since it i was new there. He gave me a variety of info was able to answer all my questions. He was very prompt which was vital as i am a very busy marketing consult and have a very tight schedule.

The team are very knowledgeable in the drink selections and can advise for the most suitable one depending on what your after.
Even though due to lockdown I can see the appeal for this place to become a work zone, you can easily prop yourself up on one of the tables and work while having access to food and drink.
I highly recommend bru, and if your in the area to go check it out.
