Lovely park with some great walks around. Dog friendly and even has a dog washing station. Plenty of places for a coffee and a sit down between walks. There are also numerous play areas for kids to play so great for the family.

I have visited this park for many years, which is highly recommended. This review is for the cafe situated in the middle of the park, which has both sit in and outdoor seating. Good selection menu.

I haven't been in years and see the place has been refurbished to a high degree. The restraunt looks really nice and comfy. Would love to visit in colder weather for a hot chocolate. Staff were super nice and the food was really good. I can recommend the stone baked pizzas and garlic bread. My sister had the ice cream which she really enjoyed.

Lovely park. Disappointing that tea rooms did not have any food for those with gluten intolerance. Wonderful views and the chapel is beautiful.. Shocked to see so many people using bbq's when there are signs saying NO BBQ's

Had a lovely ice cream in a tub and a coffee. Sat outside in the glorious sunshine, then went for a lovely walk done by the shore. Always lovely to see the different boats, the smell of the sea and a lovely warm breeze.

Lovely morning walk. Good cake. Lots of space for dogs to run plus woodland plus small beach area. Fab! Like the fact parking has now changed so you pay just before you exit.

Social distancing is easily maintained, sanitiser & masks available before you enter if you do not have one. A one way system is in place. It looks like a 1930s wooden building which blends in well with its surroundings. As you exit you pass through a hall, with lovely ‘30s architecture. Plenty of hot & cold refreshments to be brought, as well as the usual teas, coffees, ice creams etc. They could do with more staff when it’s busy. Tables are outside, so need the weather to be fair and it’s a lovely setting with a play area for the kids. My coffee was lukewarm on my visit but I’m sure it was a one off.

The park looked especially lovely today, the sun was shining in a cloudless sky, people out for a stroll enjoying the weather. We walked to the cemetery to look around the war graves, so poignant. Then to the cafe for a welcome coffee before the walk home.

This has been a staple from my childhood. So great for both kids and adults in my option. New attractions such as wood carvings have been added recently which give a wonderful feel! The cemetery is a sanctuary, one of the quietest places in the area and feels inviting and warming. Most of the stones are placed in memory with historical ones scattered amongst them, very beautiful!

Staff were very friendly and catered to my dietary needs, hot chocolates were lovely, biodegradable and plastic free coffee cups are a lovely bonus! Shame about the food however, I was served an almost raw sausage roll, the pastry was like wallpaper paste.

We decided to take a walk around Victoria country park with a couple of friends and went into the cafe for a coffee. Whilst the cafe are implementing the covid 19 restrictions by implementing the waring of masks when entering an exiting the premises there seemed not to be the same level of attention to the cleanliness on the table and chairs. My pet hate is dirty grubby tables, and ours certainly wasn't the cleanest and when leaning forward on the chairs I noticed that my jacket was sticking to the back of the chair because it was sticky, surely all it takes is a quick wipe over with a hot disinfected cloth ?.

Lovely open grassy areas to play, walk, picnic. Play areas for children and toddlers. Visitor information centre and cafe on site. Parking is pay-&-display: £2/1 hour, £3/3 hours, £5/all day. Miniature railway runs occasionally. Had a lovely morning there

Very simple and easy to follow system in place following COVID-19 guidelines. A variety of sweet and savoury snacks, hot and cold drinks. Tables to sit at well-spaced and sanitised between visitors. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good coffee and hot chocolate.

Parking is really expensive here and there doesn't seem much on offer that you can't find for free elsewhere. It is a pleasant and large enough green space though with a good number of parking spaces, proximity to the seaside and visitor centre with cafe and toilets.
