Cafe open on Sunday's 8am to 2pm, Eat inside cafe` or outside. They also cater for takeaway orders. Parking for one hour outside the cafe` or across the road in council pay carpark. Easy access via open double doors for wheelchair users, but toilets up two large steps rear of cafe` and will be tight to enter the toilet in such a small space. Food is excellent and staff friendly 💎 I would recommend a visit 🤩

Overall ,good food,I use to go there often,but today again I received what I did not asked, baked beans! I think you need to get what you pay for,and when you specify that you don't want something on your plate, they should pay more attention .

We arrived on Sunday morning for a full English (dirty) breakfast as my partner puts it. We were both slightly hung over so really looking forward to a good nosh however it didn’t really taste amazing. That said I wouldn’t try and put others off going here because it was a very nice place and of course I was hung over so maybe my tastebuds were not functioning on full throttle.

Perfect for a great fry up. Eggs were runny too! Speedy service and tasted as good as youd expect for the price. Not too busy as only really serves locals so a nice calm atmosphere. Only reason a star was lost was the coffee tasted like water! I respect it's free instant with the breakfast but I'd advise getting a better instant coffee :)

Food was fine but expensive I had the largest breakfast, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 hash browns and beans it came with 2 toast and a tea for £7.50 I asked for a portion of black pudding and it was just one slice. We had to pay before they served, however we were alone in the pay before you eat. Disappointing breakfast for the money.

We was dropping family off at the docs and came across this cafe. The food was lovely the staff was friendly. The only issue I have is for disabled customers getting to the toilet as their are two steps to get to it so maybe think of doing a ramp of some sort.

We like the Boat Shop Cafe. It was the first cafe we went to when we moved to Southampton. It is clean and functional, and does the job. There's enough seating, and a relaxed atmosphere. There isn't much in the way of decoration - it's fairly plain, but does have plenty of natural light from the large plate glass window at the front. Prices are reasonable. Food is the standard cafe fare, with cheap ingredients indifferently cooked, but it's all quite edible. There are, of course, niggles such an an overstewed tea bag left in the mug, and a milk jug that spills milk as it pours, so there is a lack of care and thought in most aspects of the place, but these niggles are fairly common to most cafes outside of London which are not transport cafes. The overall impression is good. Cheap, homely, edible food in clean and relaxed surroundings.
