As per my husband, he had one of the best english breakfasts for a long time now at this diner. Food was pretty decent and hot when we got them. Waitress Pat was friend and accommodating. Don't get intimidated with how the place looks. Givetheir food a try, you'll love it.

Have been pleasantly surprised with this little gem. Have walked past many times because its a little dated but food is well cooked, good portion size and extremely good value for money. Not everybody wants paninis!! sometimes good basic fare is just whats needed. Highly recommend this little cafexxxxx

Cannot fault this place. We walked in to have a late breakfast as everyone else was having lunch so there was a wait. This was no problem the staff apologised but wasn't needed. Food hot and cooked well. Nothing is too much of a problem. Definiately reccomend.

If you can be very brave and get past a certain snobbery of typical British cafes!!! They do a great brunch!!! Nice and hot!!! Good amount of tables and chairs!!! Staff are friendly enough if you know you really want to go specifically for hot breakfast plates of food!!! Wouldn't rely on them for my main dinner at late afternoon though!!! But they do have chicken and chips if all else fails!!!

I have been going to the hungry diner since i was a child (probably for the last ten years or so) and I absolutely adore it, some of the food isn't great but it's a wonderful place to kick back and relax with a nice tea or coffee after a long day shopping in the cold and wet :)
