Nice quirky factory shop with café. The shop has plenty of bargains (particularly plates and cups) and is certainly worth a visit. We used the pay and display parking outside the shop. The staff were very helpful for what was an enjoyable hour inside.

Took my 4 grandchildren (ages 15, 13, 8 and 5) to Royal Stafford Pottery this morning and can't believe I have never heard of this fabulous place before. The lady on duty was so helpful and cheerful. Lovely setting with a really nice atmosphere. Such great value too! Highly recommend a visit.

We love going to Royal Stafford!
My Daughter had her birthday party here.
The children chose their own piece of pottery to paint then it was left for glazing and picked up a week later.
We took our own buffet food.
There’s also some fantastic value ceramics from the shop.
We bought a whole Christmas dinner service at a fantastic price.
Would highly recommend.

We always love a rummage in this shop. The china is generally chunky creamware (think Emma Bridgewater rather than Wedgwood) and they have some great designs that are perfect for gifts. There's everything from plain and really cheap (under £2) to a lovely children circus design (great for big kids!) and seasonal specials (Halloween and Christmas). Most things are well under a tenner and come emblazed with MADE IN ENGLAND - or just through the adjoining factory door as it happens. There is a popular pottery cafe, which looks great fun, but haven’t tried personally.

Had a trip around various pottery factory shops in north Staffordshire this week. I always end up buying something from Royal Stafford even if I just went to look with someone else.
The pottery shop is full of good stuff any time of the year, I will be back to buy more so if your in the area pop in and have a look at the stock they have for sale.

Just visited 4 factory/outlet shops in Stoke and the Poole Pottery & Royal Stafford shop in the middle of Burslem was BY FAR the best value. There's only a small range but some nice pieces in both modern and older designs. We got some botanical-print teacups and saucers, which were similar to ones we'd seen elsewhere at £5, for 50p. Dinner plates were less than £2. Large coffee pots were £7.50 (over £30 elsewhere). The sales lady was lovely and even gave my daughter a little free gift. No car park but plenty of metered on-street parking outside at 45p for 30mins or 90p for an hour. Will go again.
