I love this coffee shop. A very pleasant place to spend an hour or two at the weekend whether you’re alone with a book or with company. They always have interesting coffee which is unrivalled in quality and the staff are super friendly.

Best dirty chai latte in town 😊 having a short stay in Swindon, visited on my first day and had to stop by again before I leave cause I'll be missing this place! Love the ambience and very lovely staff. Free WiFi too so what is not to love about this place.

Best coffee I've encountered in Swindon so far. Puddings are also good. Reasonable price to compare with other cafés but higher quality. Cozy, quiet, and staff are friendly but not over friendly which is nice.

Very welcoming staff and a truly community vibe - some next level geekiness on the coffee to water ratios advice being dispensed (overheard in conversation)... Also delicious coffee and locally sourced baked goods. They know their stuff and they genuinely care about their customers as friends.

I had one hour to wait in Swindon before my next train and the train station staff kindly let me get out get a coffee. I asked where to go and the train station staff recommended me the Costa Café right next to the station and he added that the centre wasn’t worth the stroll. This comment raised my curiosity to see by myself and also, Costa Coffee is really meh. The centre is really quiet indeed, almost all shops are closed and the windows are dusty. By the sea-side, maybe this would have a meditative and melancholic charm but in the mainland, the effect is quite depressing.
Darkroom Espresso is very nice, the seats are comfortable, there’s a relaxed vibe with plants and mismatched furniture. I had a very good filter coffee and a delicious vegan carrot cake that most definitely could pass for not vegan. The team was nice and the clients there were chatting to each other’s and with the staff. I would definitely go again if I pass by Swindon again!! The highlight of my hour in this city.

Have just started coming back to this place. Feels like coming home! I love how they are as snobby about tea as they are about coffee. Also that the atmosphere is so relaxed and I feel comfortable sitting here for ages.

Good coffee and loads of vegan options. I love the toasties and they have such a big variety of vegan cakes :)

The best coffee in Wiltshire. Nice folk too. (Council take note.)

Great coffee, great food, great atmosphere and great food. We visit regular and the service is always impeccable.
