The food and service was great. ! Basic options but cooked well and nice quality. Not overly expensive and generous servings . Will come back .

Had a few drinks here and my brother enjoyed a bacon sandwich. Good value for money place to eat and drink next to the old railway station. Staff were lovely too.

If you want to see some steam trains, then you need to stop by the Cafe for some harty grub. Pie & Chips and lots more besides, all cooked freshly. Real friendly atmosphere with interesting staff & volunteers to talk to.

You may think it's a basic cafeteria but it's so much more... It's the the atmosphere it provides. The food is extremely delicious and homemade..... Hell yes. I only problem is I could bring my pet duck, Trevor, and his wife with me... The trains were fun to lick... "I choose choose you" Ralph Wiggum - the Simpson

Do stop for tea and cake while visiting the heritage railway. These people work hard and deserve support.

Restored local railway line with diesel and steam engines, run by enthusiasts. Basic cafe.
