Friendly staff, they offer different flavour hot chocolate! Gorgeous sausages in my sausage and egg roll. Lovely little cafe, I was so impressed I took my son there for a take away sandwich. Ordering was easy and efficient and not long to wait for the food. Could be a regular visit for us.

As with most good small food outlets its very popular and most times there is a queue. Council intervention on the road through protocol has somewhat pushed customers round the side and it's lost a lot of its seating and charm as a consequence. Traffic calming measures might have been a better option than take away the tables on the lawn?

This is a stopping place on one of our regular morning walks. We have a choice between sitting inside a purpose built room, which has a separate area for people and their dogs, or outdoors. We always enjoy the excellent (and generous) portions of food and drink served by the always cheerful people who work at this café. The place is geared towards walkers and dog walkers to the extent that if there are any sausages left over from the previous day, they will be wrapped in foil and left on the counter for dog owning customers to give one to their pet while they enjoy an excellent meal themselves.

Nice atmosphere by the bowling green and tennis courts. Good service and usually busy throughout the week during the day. Good coffee and food options have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices.

Just to say what everyone else is saying..what a fantastic place this is! So nice to be able to walk the dogs in a decent green space with a great backdrop of The Ercall and then have a good cup of coffee and a sausage butty, (veggie in my wife's case and she was impressed too) made with proper bread. Just moved to the area and plan to make this a regular excursion from Madeley, a little high point of our week! Excellent.

Best burger I have actually ever had. Hot, juicy, thick and topped with fresh ingredients with a side of homemade coleslaw and tortilla chips. Will be going here regularly now, I am so impressed with the food and coffee I had. YUM! These people care about their food, it shows. As for me being a food reviewer and am very picky, this is definitely #1 in burgers for me.

I had a bacon and egg sandwich with malted bread and cup of black coffee my two companions had toast and coffee the total came to £12. great value as the food was good and the coffee strong and hot. Add in table service as its Covid time ,and it made a great start to a beautiful sunny Sunday morning We followed it up with a walk around the park which is very well maintained and litter free. Everyone seemed to be using the rubbish bins. First visit for 30years.Very impressed.
