As cafes go this one has a traditional feel to it. The tables were clean and the menu offered lots of choice. Staff friendly and some of the regular customers chatted to them like old friends. Had a good vibe and I'd recommend going.

My favourite cafe in Wellington. The closest thing to an English Cafe, or 'greasy spoon' you can get, with a traditional menu, featuring English Breakfasts, Pies, Currys and other Very popular with locals and workers alike. A 'small English' is ample, or omelette and salad. Its also one of the few cafes apart from a couple of chain establishments that's open on a Sunday. They have a weekly 'special' main dish. Can get quite busy (the sign of a good cafe) and popular with OAP's for the cakes and desserts as well as mains. The loos aren't brilliantly accessible however.

First time there , excellent food , great portions , prices are great , my only criticism is there is no social distancing between customers. Had to go to the till to order which was in the narrow walk way , stood less than a foot from 4 different people , felt very uncomfortable. Idealy the waitress should come to the table collect the order and money so no one has to get up once seated. No details were taken from us so if a case of Covid 19 had of broke out we wouldn't be notified. Wooden divide board which aren't easily cleaned would of been better being plastic so it can be sprayed and cleaned easier.

What an absolute quality cafe. Cafe is spotless. Ordered chicken & chips with salad All day breakfast and sausage and mash with peas washed down with 3 mugs of tea. Food was tasty and very well priced. Great service and attitude of staff If there were more cafes like this one the world would be a better place 😁. Toilets are very clean and well kept. Will be back

Very clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly - they appear to want to help to give you what you want. The food is spot-on and they try their hardest to make you feel valued and welcome, even when they are really busy - so you naturally feel inclined to keep returning (especially when so many other places lack that sense of care and attention).
