A quiet Sunday when we visited, with some barista training going on in the background. The espresso I had was excellent but I was jealous of my partner's latte as the milky drinks looked great too. The pain au chocolat I had was a thing of beauty, made down the road (in Newquay I think) and my partner's plum flapjack was made in house - she loved it! Savoury food looked very good too. One star down because they were mid-renovating and the takeaway window being open made it chilly inside! I'm sure on the next visit it'd be a full five stars.

I had a cappuccino and a bacon and egg bap and my sister had the avo on toast with a latte. Both delicious, good quality coffee with fast and friendly service. The restaurant is quaint, clean and fresh. Highly recommend.

Only had coffee and hot chocolate, both of which were good, food looked yummy though! Basic seating arrangements, but very clean. Service a wee bit slow and thought they may be better having people queue rather than table service. But would definitely recommend and return again!

Just visiting Truro for the first time and we were searching for some place with decent coffee. And accidentally bounced to this place.. luckily. Absolute gem.. If you are after a good, simple coffee then this is where you need to go. Nice friendly staff and they know what they do and how coffee should taste. Not like the ordinary, tasteless C.. a or N... o. When you try good coffee like this you will not want different and you will always search for such coffee place where ever you be

Really tasty coffee that we picked up (from some friendly people!) driving through Truro. A lot of places are closed due to Covid-19 so this was a God-send at 9am!

I've been going to 108 Coffee House for a while now, and I feel I must share my overwhelmingly positive experience. The coffee is SO good. Each morning I never want it to end. Their large oat milk capa in particular. Best coffee in Truro. Support small Cornish businesses.

Very quaint coffee house in truro, recommended from a friend knowing how much I love my coffee. There's plenty of seating and you charge your phone or laptops. Very friendly staff and coffee is quite excellent. There's a choice of cakes, brunch and biscuits. Dogs are welcomed

Best coffee in Cornwall, possibly the U.K...possibly the earth. They frequently change their filter bean so as a regular it's lovely to try different flavours. The espresso is lovely too. Really friendly guys and nice place to sit with a paper and munch some toasted banana bread.

I'd like to be able to say that 108 is rubbish, so that at busy times I could always get a seat. But of course I can't say that, because truthfully it's one of my favourite places, and the same goes for many of the loyal regulars. The coffee is indisputably good, and the owners and staff are everything you'd want them to be. The homemade cakes/rolls/tarts are superb. The only downside is that the shop is frequently bursting at the seams, and it can be hard to get a seat. HOWEVER, in a few weeks they will have much more space when they move to the larger shop next door. Can't wait!

Two lattes to go for £5. Made fresh, not bitter or cooked to boiling. Tasted brilliant best in town. Very polite well mannered staff especially the gent on the machine. Only reason it's not a 5 is due to not being able to see inside due to the condensation on the windows so it's not inviting.

The loaded banana bread is absolutely delicious! The coffee is perfect every time, the staff are lovely, the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. If you're in Truro for coffee and a light bite, I beg you to try the loaded banana bread. Wow.

Being from the southern hemisphere, where we are all coffee heads... I was amazed at how rubbish coffee can be done in "battery" coffee houses here, granted I was yet to explore smaller coffee shops. But since moving to Corwnall I can assure everyone out there that this place makes coffee properly, like "God Damn thats good" properly! Backed up with an amazing selection of tasty treats baked by their own fair hands! Im there at least once a week for great coffee and "sweet as" staff!

Ok yep another coffee shop, but this is your trendy hipster, millennial, exhippy and wannabe trendy place. Scaffolding board seats n tables, worn coffee sacks as decoration around the counter, the snacks are all non offensive towards vegans, veggie heads, bloody gluten free and have ingredients lists Google won't have listed. So really to be honest, grab a coffee to go (of which is really good coffee and well made) and avoid being stared at if you're not one of the aforementioned hip n trendyish types with a wannabe twist or wishing it was still the 70's. But bloody good coffee 😉

108 is a fantastic independent coffee house in Truro. Firstly the coffee is great, lots of choice and very professionally made. The owners and staff are very friendly and you can really tell they're putting their all into the business and that they're passionate about their coffee. This is a nice change from the chain coffee shops on the high street. So if you're in Truro I suggest popping in for a quick coffee.
