I was in a bad mood at the time, so I walked into this store. The owner's peaceful smile made me relax my defenses. While sipping coffee, I thought about everything that had happened. I felt that there was nothing that I couldn't overcome, and I had to keep moving forward. , as long as you have a clear conscience.

Friendly staff, who were exceptionally helpful with recommending drinks (weird thing in a coffee shop but worked well for me... the lime and jasmine iced tea pretty much tastes of cola cubes). Nice relaxed atmosphere too.

Nice. Staff are lovely + very helpful. Can be very cramped inside as tiny + tables are very close together. plenty of tables outside too which are under a glass canopy so ok if it's not a nice day. Always busy but it is a really nice place.

Staff are always friendly. Free treat for your pooch when you order. Free WiFi when you order. I arrived about 5 minutes before they closed (not realising it was nearly closing time) and there wasn't a word of complaint from the staff. They treated me like any other customer. I didn't realise they were closing until I'd been sitting down several minutes. Needless to say I supped up quickly and left a tip.

Only recently started to come in, and I love it. Staff are friendly and professional. I like drinking espresso and when you’re offered a glass of water with your drink you know they understand coffee.

We only come to Stockton health a few times a year as travel by narrow boat we only come to Esquires for a great cup of coffee and one of their wonderful cakes. Great service and very helpful staff. The best.

I like Esquires and the staff are friendly but the seating inside isn't the most comfortable and most of the chairs are not comfy to sit on and they hurt my back when leaning on them I don't like the way they have people sat close up to the counter as its awkward to get passed when busy they used to have that divided which was safer it seems that quantity of people has taken over that quality relaxed feel it used to have the bench at the back of the cafe is the best bit and the outside area

Best coffee in the village, toilets are available for all (not just customers). They no longer stock plastic straws, only use paper ones. I do recommend to friends and family. Also staff and manager are lovely

I've been a few times and I'm always served by the loveliest man who take the time to make my drink exactly how I like it. The selection of cakes and cookies is amazing and they always look really delicious. I brought a reusable cup and got some discount on my drink - I love this idea and think everywhere should do something similar to encourage you to bring your own cup.

Covered area outside with overhead heating in the winter. Free dog chews for doggie owners. Set in the popular Forge shopping area.
