Nutella soya latte is fabulous!!! I wish I can make it in the afternoon for another peanut butter one :P So far the best coffee I’ve had in Watford. Really appreciate the creative and unconventional brunch options (a bit tired of egg benedicts). The caramelized onions might be a little too sweet especially with the sweet chili sauce and my Nutella latte, but the feta and roasted pepper is quite refreshing.

Great little independent cafe. Best coffee in Watford? Most certainly in the high street area. Sandwiches have always been quite nice, and they used to have soup - unsure if they still do. Staff have always been very pleasant and I've never had an issue here. Love the Flat Whites from Ocean Bells!

Wow♡ I not had a good almond chocolate croissants since last I went to Barcelona 4years ago, and the biscoff latte was lovely, wicked service and the atmosphere in here is great for a cafe♡ they offer so much more,I can't wait to come here again, thank you

A little tucked away and easy to miss but comfortably some of the best coffee and food I've had. Staff are lovely and the feel of the whole place is quiet and relaxing which can be a nice getaway from the busy high street. A no-brainer if choosing between here and a big brand franchise.

Absolute best coffee shop in Watford for so many reasons. Great customer service, the staff are always patient and friendly. The lattes made perfectly as the coffee is very smooth and they have very good food options such as avacado and egg on sourdough toast. However; I do believe a thicker slice of toast would be better because they are generous with the other ingredients that go on top , I need there to be a bit more bread to balance things a little more . Everything else is really great. There is a very inviting and cosy atmophere here. They pay attention to detail and they have the best almond crossaint I’ve ever had in life. I highly recommend coming here.

Very nice coffee. We appreciated the fact that there wasn't any of that moronic music. However, we don't visit this cafe anymore because of the wooden chairs which I find quite uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. There are two low down soft armchairs in the window, but it's hot in the sun and it's not at all private due to being stared at by passers-by. UPDATE: I LOOKED IN THE OTHER DAY AND THEY NOW HAVE CUSHIONS ON THE SEATS 😊

One of the few artisan cafes in Watford, Ocean Bell has a traditional English local cafe setting but offers contemporary options such as flat white. The taste is pretty nice, big city standard, and the staff work very hard to be as friendly as possible even on Christmas Eve, one of the busiest days in a year. It's a warm and nice spot in this area.

I was looking for a place where I could eat tasty food, drink a nice coffee and do some work. Oceans Bells cafe was the perfect place. I made it my office for the afternoon. It is such a cosy place and friendly staff. Also, I prefer to support small local business than the big chains. I will be back again.

Incredible Dirty Chai Latte (Chai with coffee). Yes they have Oatly Barista :) Delicious, moist Mandarin and chocolate cake aswell. Chilled atmosphere and lovely staff. I visited for the first time on Sunday to have coffee with a friend. We both had the most delicious flat whites. I had the homemade quiche which was Scrumptious! Then I was tempted with a vegan blondie for dessert :) the staff were very happy and friendly. We'll definitely be back again!

Was in a hurry for lunch so went into this cafe to grab a quick bite - was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee and sandwich! The cafe is small and cozy and the Flat White was very rich. Ordered an English breakfast ciabatta - it had a generous portion of sausage and egg!

The best Mocha and Cakes I've tried in a cafe. I know it's a matter of personal preference & I've travelled the world to find the perfect mocha & carrot cake. Who knew it was this proximal to me? If youre visiting Watford- try Ocean bells. You shall not be disappointed! Great job team OB! 😁

It's nice to buy your coffee from somewhere that's not Starbucks.. I do enjoy these smaller local business. This place has a nice vibe and the coffee is tasty. The only downside is the coffee is the same price as you would find at Starbucks and the portions smaller.. I'll keep going though.

One of the best coffees outside central London. (and on of the few artisan coffees). Freshly roasted beans with weekly guest blends. Selection of great food focusing on quality. Friendly staff. This an Charlie's in St Albans are worth going out of your way for.

Sorry to say this, but the 'ambience' has been stripped away from this Independent Coffee shop. The man who served did not engage with us, it all felt a bit too much of an effort. It wasn't busy but took over 15 mins for our sandwiches to arrive. Generous 3*star rating...won't be visiting again. Disappointed as I do prefer to support independent coffe shops.

This could be such a lovely place but the lady who served me was extremely unfriendly and didn't make me feel welcome, didn't even crack a smile. The coffee was nice and the vegan cake was okay, not as good as I've had elsewhere, and they gave me a knife to eat it with, which I thought was odd.

Great coffee, if you have time (and it’s not too built) try the V60 pourover and just relax and unwind to the awesome music. Whilst I was in we had Billy Joel, The Who, AC/DC and Jimi Hendrix. Awesome spot to chill, dog friendly and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

If you sneak out of the shopping centre, turn left and walk down the hill a little way you'll come to Ocean Bells Coffee Company. I drink espresso and it's so nice to find somewhere that can produce a good one. Try one, I think you'll be surprised!

Don't get me wrong, I used to love this place like no one else and met the owners too, cool couple... When they just opened up they used to serve everything freshly baked and I often bought pastry there without staying, to treat myself at home or on my way to friends... All my friends loved their pastry and went there AFTER I treated them with pastry from there... But last week I saw their staff getting boxes from Costco out with pastry and my heart was broken... Do I still like it - yes, Love it - not so sure...
