Hands down the best chips I've ever had. Handmade and cooked to order. Amazing value, giant portions for £5.75. Absolutely delicious.

first time going there today with my partner, really nice decor, all the staff are polite, the food, was freshly cooked, the homemade chips are yummy, loved the eggy bread and the bubble and squeak was nice also, def going back and would 100% recommend this place

The best breakfast menu in Worthing by far. I may be biased living a short walk away, but with eggy bread and bubble and squeak on the menu, I'm sold. £5.95 for any 5 items from a choice of 12. Extras are extra. All cooked to order, and a lunch menu to savour as well. Park cheaply in the Grafton multi-storey on the seafront and it's a very short walk from there. Recommended.
5 item price now £6.95 as of my visit 07/07/22. Still good value.

Stumbled on this place today not realising it’s been here since 1909! Amazing service and an incredible breakfast with quality that didn’t cost the earth! Will we come back? 100% Thank you!

Lovely welcoming and very personal atmosphere here. Had a wonderful breakfast cooked to order so took a little while but was freshly cooked and excellent value. Highly recommended.

I was dismayed to see a review left 17 hours ago. My husband & I come to Worthing from Leeds about 3 times a year and Bosuns is the only place for us. The food is always freshly cooked and amazing. Fantastic value for money. We have also just had a coffee, which was perfect. I only know Jenny the owner by coming for food when in Worthing and she always remember us and is a lovely pleasant lady, who does everything she can for you, so please ignore this negative comment because it simply is not true. Thank you Jenny and staff for your hospitality.

Had a wonderful visit to this gorgeous cafe today. Delicious breakfast, fantastic service and lovely people - it's a beautiful, bijou cafe; family friendly but not good for big buggies. They're 'cash only' and it feels like you've been invited into someone's home and treated like family - highly recommend it 😍🙏

Fantastically quaint surroundings - it's like you go through a time warp on entering - and I mean that in a good way! Lots of ceramic teapots and doilies. Not much has changed here since the 50s - and it doesn't need to - the BBC could set a period drama here.
The food is good honest home-cooked food - this does sometimes mean the service is a little slower (understandably - food is cooked while you wait - not reheated). Freshly cooked veg (no frozen muck), rustic bread, home-made desserts and a cracking mug of tea. Generous portions all round. The staff were very welcoming too and it was very good value for money. What a find!

Has become my weekend fixture. Authentic, home cooked food the way Grandma used to make it. Highly recommend the fried breakfast, coffee included, really nice people. The best thing about coastal towns is the local businesses and breakfast/lunch at Bosun's (est 1909) followed by an evening pint at Nigel's Micro pub next door (only local brews straight from the barrel) should be part of any trip to Worthing.
