From the first communications we had via email and the first meeting at the cafe, Sam and I felt so supported by James, listened to and confident in him and everything he would bring to our day. His attention to detail is exactly what a perfectionist bride needs. We wanted things different and I have a very high standard myself and attention to detail for me is key to success. James never once questioned any of my ideas or said no to something slightly out of the box and he went along with everything we suggested, took it all on board and made it happen better than we ever imagined. With covid thrown in the mix James couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive of us both. He spent hours curating a day that would work for us, went over and above for us at every possible moment during the lead up, sorting issues with the pizza van and then last minute issues with cooking outside on the day before. I didn’t even know these conversations had happened until more recently and I appreciate it so much that James took the stress on himself and didn’t pass any of it on to us to worry about. When I think of the wedding day, I honestly can’t put into words how utterly grateful I/we are to have had James and the Ren's Kitchen team there. James gave us so much advice to prepare us for how things would play out which couldn’t have been more accurate, however, nothing could have prepared me for how I really felt that day. It was an out of the body experience and to have James, a very friendly face there, reassuring us, offer us drinks, running around all day for us and treating us like royalty just made the whole day even more special. The team couldn’t have done more for us, in fact, during every section of the day they went over and above for us and all our guests. James, it was an honour to have you as part of our special day. Your kindness, talent and attention to detail was amazing. Thank you James and the Ren's Kitchen team so much.

From the get go.. i knew i wanted Ren's for my wedding. Living in Worthing for 4 years previously, i had heard amazing things and i was not let down! From our first meeting with Ren himself, my husband and I were sold and not just on the food but on how Ren ran his business. Professional but personable and we had a right giggle! Throughout the planning, nothing felt forced and every one of our needs were met including the table linen delivered to me by Molly the day before the wedding for us to set up. Molly then ran the day flawlessly and co-ordinated with our venue perfectly. The food was outstanding and our guested were more than chuffed! They were STUFFED! The canapes were just incredible! Everyone couldn't get enough of them! If you look at the images i've uploaded you can see how much i loved the crab balls! :D The mains were spot on and i'm still dreaming about the halloumi! Dessert was also fantastic, though i couldn't finish my as i was so full! Molly and the staff even cut and served our wedding cake for us which was an added bonus! Evening pizza went down a treat for our fresh evening guests and slightly drunk day guests. And at the end of the night, my new husband and i had been left with little takeaway boxes of pizza and some leftover dessert with the cutest little note on it from Molly! Just the perfect way to top off a perfect service from Ren's! Will recommend to everyone and anyone i meet and we'll be using Ren's again whenever we get the chance! Thank you all so so so much! We hired Ren and his team for our wedding and it was the best decision we made! Ren made such a wonderful impression we didn’t look anywhere else for a caterer as we knew he would be the best! The team did not disappoint, from the tasting menu right up to the wedding day , he went above and beyond. He was always at the end of the phone with advice and suggestions to help make our day magical. We knew our wedding food would be brilliant but I was still blown away by the quality and the flavours. We had so many guests comment on how brilliant the food was and how it was the best food they have had at a wedding. Rens team made sure everyone was well looked after and nothing was too much to ask. Ren has a wide selection of menus to suit everyone’s tastes and budgets. We really can’t thank you enough Ren! We used Ren's kitchen for our wedding catering and they were amazing. Their pricing was the best from the companies we had approached so we were expecting the quality to be lower than the top priced quote we had got. We were really wrong! At the tasting we had before we booked them, we tried various dishes and it took considerable thought to narrow it down to what we wanted as we wanted everything. We went with the family style and it suited us and our venue perfectly, Ren's suggested this and it was their cheaper option. They won't try and get the most money out of you, they will listen and advise you to make the food on your day exactly how you were picturing it. Highly recommend the lamb! This seemed to be the highlight of our wedding to many of our guests.

Ren’s was the only choice for the food for our wedding. From first contact through to tasting we knew we wouldn’t find a better option. They even changed the spiciness of a dish to cater to our taste. On the day, the food was delicious, the service was amazing, the team were all incredibly friendly, and the only thing I am sad about is that I didn’t get time to eat more! Thank you all - especially Molly for keeping me calm in the run up and on the day; I appreciated that almost as much as the amazing canapés ;)

Ren and his Kitchen (well, it was Kelly's on our wedding day) was amazing from organising to eating! We started planning our wedding in the summer of 2020, and during a brief relaxing of lockdown we managed to get to a tasting at Ren's. Meeting Ren was great. He was as friendly and accomodating as our email exchanges suggested, and he was really interested in making our menu work for us. We talked through likes/dislikes and had coriander immiediately removed from everything! The tastings were amazing, and the portions were huge! Communication was amazing throughout, and in the run up to the day we had a couple of chats with Ren, James and Kelly to prep for the big day. The wedding went amazingly. The canapes were described as the best ever, with the mac and cheese balls raved about (groom didnt get one and was devestated!). People were kept topped up with drinks and food throughout the drinks reception. The staff were amazing, really upbeat and attentive. When it came to the meal, again, people have raved to us about how good the food was. It was absolutely top drawer, and everything we could have wanted. All dietary needs were supported, and people very clearly enjoyed their meals... Kelly was superb on the day, checking in as she needed to, and making sure that everything ran to time. Most importantly, people were incredibly well fed! Thank you Ren, Kelly, James and the team for all your support. We wouldn't hesistate to recommend you to everyone and anyone planning a wedding or function!

We were interested in hiring Rens to cater our wedding, but couldn't due to us ultimately deciding to hire a venue that would no allow us to use external caterers. However, it was a really difficult decision as our experience of working with Rens was EXTREMELY POSITIVE. The customer service was excellent and extremely professional, prompt and cordial. We never once felt like Rens was trying to extort us into paying more money (unlike the five other wedding caterers we researched) and their prices are very fair. Our contact at Rens, James, was super experienced and very good at putting our mind at ease about the many concerns we had about catering our wedding and the venue. He really helped us to come up with and provide solutions to all the things we were worried about. And his experience was also really helpful in telling us what we didn't want and prevented us from over ordering too. We went to Rens for a (free) tasting session with James and just felt really comforted about hiring the kind and professional team working there. The food we tried was also excellent (both for meat eaters and for vegetarians). We took a doggy bag of some of it home for some of our family who all agreed that it was very tastey. They were also flexible to accomodate our demanding wishes and portions sizes were really good. I couldn't recommend Rens highly enough. If we ever have need for a caterer again, we wouldn't bother going anywhere else.

Grabbed a lunch special from the mobile unit on the promenade, at the bottom of heene road, & it was fabulous. So good I went back & bought another for later, (it lasted about 45 minutes). Great quality vegan food, made from lovely fresh ingredients, & nice big portions. Highly recommended :)

We booked Ren's kitchen for pur wedding way back in 2019 for our would be 2020 wedding. After several postponements due to covid we finally had out day last month and we honestly could not have asked for any better! the food was sublime and all of our guests commented how lovely it was - and different from the normal "wedding food". Ren was so incredibly helpful during the whole booking and rebooking process. Always there to answer any questions and kept us in the loop from day one. We had the absolute pleasure of having Ren's Kitchen cater for our wedding in Brighton in July 2021. The food was wonderful and beautifully presented, and the portions were really generous. All of our guests said how delicious the food was! All the staff were so lovely, and the food was so smoothly served. India and James in particular could not have been more helpful and kind to us. It was super stressful planning a wedding in the pandemic but Ren's Kitchen made us feel at ease and well cared for. All dietary requirements were well catered for, and the meat, vegetarian and vegan options were all equally delicious. When we got home we realised they forgot some of our order but instead of just offering a refund they personally brought the order to our home and the food was fantastic. Had the veggie breakfast as a take away. £££ only £5.50 !! Packaging must cost at least a quid. Fantastic value, amazing packing and packaging sounds silly but that makes a big difference to the overall quality. Good produce friendly staff. Well done keep it up 👍 👍👍👍

We chose a BBQ in the daytime and it was just perfect, the showstopper of Sussex Lamb, Steak skewers and jerk chicken were all amaaaazing!! ..and so much of it, most guests went up for seconds!! The desserts were unreal too! The team at Ren's kitchen did so much for us during the day and evening, serving welcome drinks and delicious canapes, running the bar, serving the bbq, clearing tables, resetting everything for the evening, evening food, cutting up my cake, looking after guests who had had a few too many too! The team didn't stop all day and the day ran so smoothly because of Ren and the excellent team that Ren brought along. They really do go above and beyond what you expect from a caterer and do so much that you don't even see, slick and professional service throughout. We had used Rens before and had rave reviews for their service and quality of food that time, so choosing them again was an easy decision. On this occasion it was our wedding and they dealt with the food and drink for both the day and the evening. Since the event we have had a number of people ask about the catering and are now looking to use them for a future event themselves, as they were amazing again. From the taster days, to the support in choosing the style of the food (we went for barbeque family style where people helped themselves), everything went so smoothly and they dealt with everything. James leads a team who are incredibly professional and nothing is too difficult for them and they are so comfortable dealing with such events. If you are looking for a wedding caterer, we cannot recommend them highly enough. PS. Rens Sausage Rolls are the best things I have ever eaten!

Choosing Ren's Kitchen to cater our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Everyone bent over backward to put together a bespoke menu for our day that matched our vision. We chose a family style sharing menu and i would 100% recommend. On the day they food was delicious, hot and plentiful! So many of our guests had seconds or thirds! Lots of our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten so if that's not an endorsement i don't know what is!

We had Rens Kitchen cater for our wedding a couple of weeks ago, and simply amazing food! Our hog roast was to die for and everyone was raving about the lemon posset! Ren, Andrea and the team were fantastic - glasses always full, food always replenished, and all with the minimum of fuss - we hardly knew they were there - so efficient! When we met Ren for the first time his personable approach and attention to detail (as well as the excellent and large taster session!) convinced us they would add that extra special something to our big day! They work so well with the excellent Cissbury Barns wedding team and the overall day was just superb! Visit Ren’s cafe if you’re not sure - you’ll not want to leave! Our ‘cake of cheese’ was also sublime and we’ve been enjoying the leftovers ever since!

Great value. Amazing food. Lovely people. Ren's Catering did the food, drink, cake and setup/breakdown for our wedding at Clissold House (July 17). The whole day was perfect and a big part of that was down to James, Ren and the rest of a great team. The food was fantastic and received many compliments, and the way it was organised and serviced was both professional and relaxed, which was honestly just what we wanted. My only regret was as the groom I was too busy to eat a great deal of either the buffet or cake. I can't recommend this company enough.

Rens once upon a time.. were the BEST!! Quality, Service, Pricing, (when it was a Hidden Gem) Since 2016/17 it started to go downhill... Then after 'wren kitchens' popped up that caused more hassle than it was worth when tryin to meet friends @ Rens Kitchen & they turn up at Wrens ... Seems like they care alot for their catering side of the business but not so much for their customers that are right infront of them... Service, pricing & quality dropped massively after the revamp! Too many Irish site workers in there too... Always new and clueless staff in there who know nothing about the regulars or the regular 'flow' of the place ... Ps. Found hair in my last few meals there aswell..???? Step up your game Ren!!!! Pps. Opening times are shocking too.. Open late n shut Early! worse than my local under budgeted Brothel. Only 1 out of 10 times am I satisfied by Rens now..
