Came here for an Afternoon Tea on 27.08.2022 and had a nice experience overall. Carriage is a bit run down but still has vintage charm.
Vegan option was good and I was full quite quickly and had options to take home.

What an amazing experience from start to finish. Even before the visit, correspondence through email with staff member Ben was excellent. As this was a larger group booking for a nursing group to enjoy a team day, he went above and beyond to make sure the day was as special as he could for us checking all of our dietary requirements and even helping me to secure some seats on the road train through the railway museum. On the day itself, the museum and The Countess had excellent Covid measures in place making my group feel safe and secure. Kenny the staff member who attended to our group was attentive and couldn't do more to help. The afternoon tea served was delicious and plentiful. Before leaving Kenny even helped take some group photos so we could remember our fabulous time with them. All I can say is if you have never been here before, give it a go, you won't be disappointed. I will definitely be going again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's an absolutely amazing place. The service was exceptional. There's the option to have your own carriage if you're worried about being in close proximity to others. There are also dairy free options for those who are dairy free. The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly.
It's a lovely, quaint little place with historical photographs and carriages set out in a historical way so that it takes you back in time.
The afternoon tea is delicious and it's a perfect way to spend a couple of hours with friends or family.
To get there, follow the signs to 'The Great Hall', then once you get to the courtyard, it's the beautiful train carriage slightly to the right.
The waiters and waitresses are so friendly and hard working.
I highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing!!! This is our first afternoon tea as couple and we really enjoyed from the beginning to the end. (Sorry about that! I couldn’t hear the name of the guy who served but I guess he said BIM, he is FANTASTIC! he know what he does, explain everything to us very gently and polite. The experience is highly recommend and if you get lucky to be serve by BIM it will be an experience you’ll never forget!
Thank you so much.

It was an amazing experience.
From the moment we arrived in the tea room, we felt like we travelled back in time.
Our table was ready and the menu was one of a Kind.
Good quality, amazing atmosphere, a unique experience.
We Just want to thank Ben, for being such an amazing host and fullfilling this experience with his calm voice and attitude.
We highly recommend this.
(don't forget to check out the Museum... Pretty amazing as well!)
