Bought a new monitor for my PC, one of the staff there Jason, was extremely friendly and professional. He helped me ordered a new MSI monitor for next day delivery during black Friday. I was extremely pleased about his service and hope to visit again sometime soon!

Waiting time for white goods assistance was too long as only 1 assistant with the knowledge, while other staff were hanging around talking, more training needed. After a 30 minute wait the lady assistant was very good, but we were told that what we wanted was out of stock and she could not sell the display model, we left very disappointed.

Friendly staff, always ready to help and a store that has a nice feel about it. It's spacious so even when busy it doesn't feel like you are crowded which, in the current situation, is refreshing. Currently, if you are ordering to store, this store only has deliveries on a Thursday so be aware of you place an order that there may be a wait for your items. All in all, this is my preferred Currys store over the others in Cardiff.

Absolutely no worries what so ever with ordering online and collecting in store....however trying to get somebody to help you instore can be nigh on impossible. Be prepared to be standing around like a lemon for quite some time before anyone attempts to offer assistance.

Not a terrible experience but could use some improvement. Went to buy a phone for my grandmother and they gave us no info on return time period if the product was not liked. No info on the recept provided either. Went back for help with the devise and they were using their own cable even though our cable was the broken one. Massive choice of tech and electronics in this store. Great gaming section here. Service can be hit and miss. Got ignored by several staff when wanting to by a tv before. Other occasions every staff member approaches you. All staff and friendly and helpful though.

The only physical shop for electronics that is easy to get to. Half the items on display are no longer available (cameras) and they're not allowed to sell display models - I was told they get sent back to the manufacturer, where they get destroyed no doubt.

Currys eGift voucher cannot be used online for mobile phones, in store only. 30 mins choosing the phone I needed to be advised curry's mobile can't accept the vouchers but curry's can, curry's mobile aka carephone warehouse can't accept the gift cards, curry's curry's only had 3 mobiles In stock but politely offered to order a handset for me to be delivered to store in 3 days. They will call me once it arrives.

2 years ago I ordered a laptop they send me as home delivery and left to my apartment, nobody ring my bell. It could be stolen. I bought laptop today. There wasn't colour which I wanted. I asked for collection. There was 2 boys who they don't understand me. Actually they didn't listen to me. If they didn't want to serve people what's the reason they working this shop. We went into the Newport Road Store, Cardiff for information on digital design tablet choices. We found Christopher who was brilliantly helpful, incredibly knowledgeable, and very polite and friendly. He made choosing my new ipad Pro and pencil and the finance for it so easy and simple. I hope the company has a way to relay these reviews to it's staff because he really did go above and beyond, and it felt like I was speaking to a fellow artist and not a salesman.

Just returned from the store after purchasing a product online. The click and collect service is absolutely faultless. Parked the car, filled in a few easy details on their collection website and received an instant text message update. I only had to wait five minutes and happily watched the long line of shoppers queued outside the store in the rain waiting for their turn to enter. Cannot fault your service today Currys PC World. Well done!

Definitely my favourite store for Cardiff area. Wide range of stock, with almost everything setup on display to see and view before buying. It's nice the staff don't jump on you the second you're through the door, but are available when you do need assistance. Only downsides is business sales can be slow although I feel this is more to do with the systems staff have to work with. You can see them jumping in and out of two programs, almost as though moving stock from one program to another to complete the sale. Standard card payments are quick and easy though and staff have always offered to help carry large items.

Good place for people who prefer seeing and feeling the product before buying. But as is the case with most electronic retail outlets these days, prices are on the higher side, when compared to online prices. I guess that's due to the store rent, paying living wages (hopefully) to staff etc. Having said that I got a much better deal for Macbook Pro at this Curry's in 2019 than online - so, I guess you win some and lose some. Until they figured out that I was buying a Macbook Pro the sales people were just gossiping and joking around, without helping me one bit. After I bought the Macbook Pro, salesman tried to sell me insurance, when I refused, his attitude was pretty lousy. After that purchase, I now only go to this Curry's once a year just to see how a product looks and feels like, hoping the prices are competitive but haven't bought anything yet.

I was going to give fewer stars as I waited for about 45 mins to be seen. I was collecting a phone I'd bought online and had to wait for it to be put through the carphone warehouse system (I thought it would be easier than having it posted and missing the delivery). Hadi in the carphone warehouse section was on his own due to staff sickness and was doing his best; and was still pleasant, cheerful and helpful despite having to stay after close to help me out. Thanks Hadi, you're a star!

Recently bought a Fridge for our home, best price we could find and friendly helpful staff. Bought Click and Collect and found this service excellent. Staff helped put Fridge in car with my husband and within 2 hours collected and fitted... What is not to like....and at a great price.

Bought a 'universal' laptop charger, should have been fine, but the adapter was a bit loose. Returned within a fortnight and no problems getting a full refund. Also tried to help with an alternative. Very polite. Not given more stars owing to previous issues I have had with products and after sales treatment. Be very careful to get peoples' names and speak to a manager if possible. You might still find yourself in an hour long conversation with head office if your trying to get a refund though. Particularly beware of trying to pay with vouchers in store, when the item is only on their website. They'll all tell you it can be done, until they try to put the payment through and it doesn't work!

The assistant was helpful getting the items we needed and in taking it to the pay desk. However the assistant when we were paying was rude, grabbed items from us. When we tried to explain we did not have our address details as was in the process of moving. Became obnoxious and not helpful. Would i use this store again, yes as we bought internet and the staff involved was helpful, knowledgeable and explained the deals. For this reason i am giving a 4 star rating.

I did not find this store very helpful, my wife and I spent over half an hour looking at fridge freezers and not a single sales person came to our assistance. Eventually went home and ordered the same fridge freezer for a £100 less. They have a wide range of electrical,phone and computer equipment but the prices are a lot higher than online. I have to say my friend used this store to buy a tablet recently and found the the staff very knowledgeable and help him choose the most suitable for his needs.

didnt have what i needed in stock so when i needed to order was told to go to the pay desk, on my arrival at the desk the man said " we only take money here , find someone else on the shop floor " i said they told me to come to you! once I was introduced to the individual who was to order my product. They told me I had to pay first even though i wanted to pay when i had seen my product. They offered finance but be careful they dont do noraml installments within a time limit they want you to take finance out. so i scrapped that idea and ended up paying the full amount.

I had reserved some thing online, went to the desk - no one there. Asked one of the staff who just told me to wait at the counter. When somone finally arrived they hadn't got ny reservation and sent me over to anothe section of the store, where it wasnt there either! So i left and'll go back later hoping they have it ready. So much for "reserve and collect minuets later" I came back later and the first person i talked to had much better customer service and and got it sorted straight away!

I purchased a gas cooker the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cooker arrived on the expected date though it didn't have a grill handle. When I called the store I was told that suppliers no longer supply the handle due to H and S issues and that the cost of a handle would be an additional £25 on top of the £550 we already paid for the item.... A very big store and impressive displays with a large variety of items ranging from electrical goods to kitchen and homeware. However, with all big stores the problem I always find is product knowledge. Staff try their best to be helpful, but knowledge is diluted. Prices sometimes are good during sales, but mostly RRP.

By far not the best Currys I have been too and surprisingly I've been to a few. Stock is extremely limited for a 'mega store'. Every time I've been I've had to drive to Bridgend Currys to actually collect the product I've wanted. Not convenient. I feel like the store is too big for the amount of staff they have in and I've spent too much time looking for staff than I have looking for the product and when I find the staff I generally feel like an inconvenience to them. But, that's not to say every staff member, because there are some very considerate and helpful employees there I just feel like the majority of staff should be like that.

Great Curry's pc world store. By far the biggest in Cardiff. It will have almost all things found online to go and take a look at before you buy. Staff seemed helpful the times I've been approached but can seem quite busy at certain times. Plenty of free parking too which helps.

I recently bought a TV from here, 32", to go in the end of my bed. The tv hasn't been ft but I can't be bothered to take it back. I also recently took my Macbook Pro Retina 13", to be repaired for an fully responding scratch pad. The service (I took out Curry's warranty for damage, accidents, faults, for which I pay £9.90 monthly) was good, polite, relatively swift. Curry's have a decent selection of TVs, and tablets, laptops, white goods, electrical bits and pieces. The staff are quite knowledgeable and kind.

I purchased a Surfacebook here because the Culverhouse Cross branch was out of stock. Staff product knowledge here was terrible, they didn't offer me a demonstration of the device or give me any information. They even tried selling me a business finance option even after I explained that I don't own a business. They had the stock, and had the device on display when no other store did, so they get three stars. But the staff in Culverhouse Cross are far more helpful.

Went to Culverhouse Cross Curry's where the item I wanted was out of stock. Was assured that the branch in Newport Road had one in stocks so went to Newport Road branch who informed me that they didn't. When I explained that Culverhouse had checked their stock the sales assistant informed me that they had had a fault on the or stock app for ages!

Good place for tech and household electronic items has good deals on clearance items scour the online site before going to the store as you can pre order online and the online sometimes offers run longer than in store then click and collect the items and they give the online price
