SparK EYFS has proven to be the much needed tool our setting required to help us track the progress of each child and ultimately, each key worker's progress. Finally, each key person can meet each child's needs based on well monitored observations and data, all driven by Spark. Our best features are the Scaffolding Ideas (obviously), Assess Teaching and the great support we enjoy from the team (our key account person and trainer, Ms. S, is beyond amazing). Highly recommended tool for all EYFS practitioners!

Spark makes practitioner lives much easier, it allows the freedom to capture the learning and development of each child in their own unique way, and also provides the time for practitioners to provide the children valuable time and cater their learning according to each child’s individual needs. It’s an excellent tool for management, it allows to assess and identify gaps in learning and offers solutions whereby you can put care plans in place. It allows for a smooth transition when children move into the next phase of their learning.

We have been using Spark Early Years Software since we opened the nursery in 2015. I found Catherine on Linkedin whilst looking for a software that was "different" and immediately fell in love with it. No longer do we have children making different rates of progress depending on the experience of their keyworker!. Spark Early Years ensures EVERY member of staff can support EVERY child. I also love from a management perspective that I can really drill down the tracking of each child by cohort, age, gender, keyworker and keep tabs on which members of staff are tracking and supporting childrens next steps and when.

A great tool to use at any level of your career. I am still finding new things to use to develop and montior children. Also the support it give me as a practitioner to further my own development in refelecting on my own practise and supporting my team is in doing this as well.
