Spent quite awhile in Currys but all staff we spoke with were helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them despite being short staffed in certain areas. Saw members of staff being helpful to other customers also. All very friendly and a great help to us. Great team ❤️

I visited the Dunfermline branch at Halbeath Retail Park on 4/05/2022 as I was looking for a particular type of power cable which I couldn't seem to find in any other shop locally. I was approached by a sales person named Lisa, who knew exactly what cable I was describing and promptly brought me a spare one she had in the back. This might seem like a pointless review, however, after some of the very negative comments I've seen from some other people I thought I'd add a positive one for a change. Well done Lisa, you saved me a huge hassle.

Very attentive and knowledgeable staff on hand. Short queues and good range of products. Only (very minor) comments were stock availability for in store purchase (rather than click and collect which would have been next day. Also the 10am opening time Monday to Friday threw me as I wanted to go before work...but it's open till 8pm.

My laptop crashed couple if weeks ago, I had bought extended warranty when I bought it. Pleased I did, it needed a new hard drive which is covered by warranty but they could not recover any of my data on the disk. Very helpful staff and pleased I bought extended warranty, something I don't normally do. I got laptop back I just over a week which was good. They also returned the faulty hard drive so hopefully as technology progresses I may get my data back.

Not impressed! Waited a long time @ section we were interestded in obviously needing help and assistance. Eventually had to ask door greeter to arrange assistant. It's a smaller version of the bigger stores but that's not to say it's any worse. Had a click & collect delivery to pick up. As soon as I approached the collection point I was dealt with by a member of staff who seemed more than happy to help. Received my goods and wad away within 5 minutes. Great service.

Top marks for customer service. A couple of weeks ago I'd bought three printer cartridges, the wrong type, and opened the packaging of two of them. No questions asked, didn't make me feel I was begging for a favour and was pleasantly surprised when was told to choose replacements. Have popped in a few times since then and staff always really helpful with my queries.

Reasonable variety of goods. Friendly staff who are not overly pushy. (Let's face it, there's nothing worse than a sales rep who tries to involve you in sime inane conversation, in a veiled attempt to make you feel you owe them something.) This afternoin, our sales rep was happy to carry a fairly heavy microwave unit out to the car for us, even though it was chucking it down with sleet and blowing a gale. Full marks to him!

Some staff here (maybe as expected in a shop like this) have a tendancy to try and ram products (you don't need) down your throat so generally not an enjoyable experience. I considered leaving after being bombarded by one salesman and I would have shopped online if I hadn't needed something asap. On a positive note, another salesperson that I then approached, Kyle, had great technical knowledge, actually listened to what I wanted/needed, didn't assume I was technically incompetent and although he did offer extras like upgraded cover and bolt-on products, he didn't do this in a forceful way - that was quite refreshing.

Staff are friendly, just they don't really know what they're selling, they just know what to say and how to sell it. Although the shop is well stocked and usually has anything you need. Refunding products are a massive pain in the arse fyi.

My oven decided to die on Tuesday so we went currys in Halbeath Dunfermline. The staff couldn't have been more helpful they helped us when we were in a panic being so near to Christmas.. Our new oven arrived today but it didn't fit...not there fault... Soooo we rushed into currys in a panic as its now 2 days till Christmas.. The manager was amazing and took over and sorted it out.. He took an oven from the shop and put it in his own car and brought it to our house and uplifted the other oven and took it with him... And we got a discount... The manager and staff were great and we now have an oven that fits... Well done currys you saved our Christmas.
