Apple has been always a trusted company to me. I always rely on their devices. I am an apple person as per say, I own iPhone, iPad, iPod, AirPods, MacBook, Apple TV, Apple Watch. I have been regular customer with apple upgrading my products for over the last 8 years. I have never had a problem with apple. They have been always trustworthy and reliable. As a customer I have been always satisfied with their proposal if any of their products had an issue. Yesterday I have been to apple store in Glasgow as my MacBook was freezing for the last months and suddenly week ago the screen became flickering and blue and I couldn’t work on it at all. I have to mention that I bought my Mac under 2 years ago from apple store new. So I booked an appointment with the Genius Bar met a very professional agent Martin who asked what are my issue, recorded them, explained what will be the procedures, gave me options and alternatives, I explained that I can’t be without my Mac for 14 days as all my work as a researcher depends on it. He understood my concern and he told me I can escalate the concern to a supervisor (I don’t want to mention her name). Unfortunately, the supervisor showed no empathy nor respect. She denied my concerns. I was not given any options, except to complain to the retail advisors website ( as I can remember m). I was told that she will to move on to the another customer, as she doesn’t have time. I was shocked with her reaction, which was never expected from a supervisor in a world leading company. As a customer, I though I have right for time for my concerns to be addressed in a proper way. I thought that discussing with her will have no intended outcomes, and I then continued my session with Martin, who finished the session is a very professional way, apologised for her reaction. I left the store so disappointed and shocked with the reaction I got from the supervisor. Also important to mention, I got a MacBook which costs triple the price of a laptop, as I expect this will work many years not to break after 18 months. I bought a laptop just before my current Mac which worked very well for more than 5 year, without even freezing once. I would like to add that they have fixed it for me for free now and it’s working very well

I went into store to purchase an Apple Watch. Young girl that served me was helpful but…… my watch wasn’t in stock so she said I had to go home and order it as she couldn’t order it for me ? Left store with my £420 thinking 🤔 well I could go anywhere now and they must be doing ok to turn away custom. Went back in to get more info as I wasn’t happy with the lack of effort or info on the watch. Got Stewart( guy with beard) what a difference. Really helped me ordered it straight away for me. Also helped me with the charger plug so it’s ordered and I’m happy. See making an effort and being informative makes me want to hand over my hard earned cash. Thanks Stewart. No thanks to girl who served me first.

The sales person made my day. I was researching on the internet on what iPad to buy or even whether to buy one. He clarified every single question I had and guided me towards what I actually needed. And I felt that is what I needed. I didn't make a purchase for the iPad air. But I will definitely return soon to buy one. Glasgow's mecca for all things Apple. A nice store which had a recent refurb which has not improved the experience I feel. I preferred the store when it had it's mezzanine. It also has a large amount fo staff that seem to float about and chat to each other. Everytime I have went in it has seemed like a chore to find someone to serve me. Not a welcoming experience.

I'm visiting Glasgow these days and when I just arrived yesterday ( 5th of July ) unfortunately my iPhone 6 smashed by accident, so I went to Apple Store (Apple Buchanan Street, 147 Buchanan St, Glasgow G1 2JX) to buy a new one.. i was so worried that i lost everything in my phone because it was totally damaged.. The reason of this email is to thank (John and Liam), honestly that was the best service with smile and patience I've ever had (I've been almost everywhere in this planet so believe me when I say that), they did everything that could be made to make me feel happy spending allot of money buying a new iPhone 7 plus even if that was a disaster for my travel budget.. they did my back up for me step by step and kept me company for the whole hour I spent in the store, even when it was time to close and go home for them they didn't mind staying with me to finish the whole back up, my family and kids were there too and we all were enjoying seeing them doing what they did in the most professional way possible, even my daughter had a device to play with while waiting. If you're saying that it's their duty I'll reply that no one does his job with that kind of kindness, it was like I'm the only one in there. From the bottom of my heart.. Trade in time for me and swapped for the new iPhone 12. Andy helped with this however Apple now don’t swap the phone settings over for you but back up the phone and off you go to do it yourself at home. I wasn’t able to do this, my fault but was concerned I had lost all my information so back to Apple. Fortunately for me Liam was at the door of the store and offered to help, through his knowledge, expertise and great patience with me he was able to resolve my issue and restore my phone. Big thanks to Liam for his help in solving my mistake.

Good products but can’t believe you pay £270 for a watch and they can’t even give you a charger for it , stuck with a cable and no plug , how you meant to charge these , o hang on you go out and pay another £20 for a plug , start giving out plugs with products and stop being greedy

Although I was not able to get what I wanted the service I received was excellent, I was shown to a square in the shop by Scott and he stood on the other side ensuring social distancing was being met, I was trying to buy a new Iphone and he advised me on what would be the best for me (not for Apple), it was a breath of fresh air that he was putting the customer first instead of the business needs, he was very nice and explained all of my options to me, in the end I didn’t end up getting the phone due to a processing error from Barclays due to their system being down, he reassured me that once this error was fixed that I would be able to come back and get the phone that I wanted; was a very nice and human experience during these unprecedented times

It took about 5 minutes to get an appointment and they spent a lot of time checking the phone and diagnosing it thoroughly. Although the service was really good the new apple experience leaves a lot to be desired. The layout, the decor, everything just leaves me feeling empty. If I'd not actually wanted something in particular there's no way I would have made a purchase. The store doesn't entice you in, nothing makes you want to browse and spend.

Apple representative will help you in getting your query resolve and even help you with any phone, watch issues irrespective of any software or hardware issues. Visited with a friend as she was having problems with updating her iPhone. Appointment was allocated for an hours time from entering the store, however, she received a text 10 minutes later saying she could be seen. Like any Apple Store anywhere else, the staff knows their products and are happy to advise. The most noteworthy sight was the gutsy guy with the placard standing right outside the store showing the way to another shop 'for cheaper Apple repairs'. Ha ha ha

I was so tired of everything and extremely stressed, expecting to find further communication breakdown as a deaf individual, only to be greeted with a man named 'Scott' who signs epically fluent BSL. I felt really welcomed and the wait did not feel bothersome. Coming from London, it would take an hour minimum to a week to be seen. Glasgow? A mere 15 minutes. Scott, one other apple technician and the store manager (boss in black top) completely made my day. They really made me realise that I am much worthier than I thought. I went home a very relieved and happy man, with positivity. This service reminded me why it is so worth getting apple products for communication & work purposes. Whilst the price may be extremely steep, they are the only company that provides walk-in centres at the right locations, perfect size and wonderfully huge team of staff. I am proud to say, I remember why i purchased an their products in the end and will continue to. Thank you Apple Store, Buchanan-Glasgow.

Good big shop, in keeping with Apple. From a personal perspective not a fan of the no tills and don't like having to hunt for prices, staff were very friendly, helpful and the girl who assisted me very knowledgeable, without being in my face with a hard sell. Apple store in historic building, the old meets the new. My views on Apple products are quite conservative, my wife loves them and many people like my wife love them and indeed the software is extremely user friendly, the hardware is excellent although grossly overpriced. The peripherals associated with apple products ie the lack of usb ports and no ports for SD cards in my opinion make their tablets & phones obselete but definitely a great business model as everything has to be downloaded as seen by Apple excessive profits

Took my dad who is 83 into this store so he could buy his new iPad pro today. The girl that served him was fantastic. Transferred all his stuff into his new iPad from the old and even gave a trade in on his old iPad. She really knew her stuff and was really patient with him as he is very hard of hearing and explained everything she was doing. Such a good experience and can't thank that girl enough. When I went in to buy a MacBook,I got an average guy who gave me my MacBook, didn't fully explain to me the benefits of AppleCare and looked like he didn't want to be there. Thanks you Apple you really do have a great team from entering your Store met promptly by a very smart, friendly & well clued up chap (Fluent in Italian) didn’t catch his name ☹️ Booked me with an appointment 15 mins, more like 10 mins met by Carol who looked into my needs, very polite, friendly & chatty set up the start of my requirement passed onto Chris, we had time to spare as we waited for IPad to do its stuff Chris was so informative in everything I asked showing me everything on the laptop we were using. I’m not computer literate this certainly opened my eyes, thank you Chris for all your help I may be getting older in age however given a little time 5 mintiest I”be learned so much.
