I cannot rate this shop enough. Coming from a house of apple users, repairs and replacements can be very expensive. I used to take my computers to Apple but often found myself put of pocket, and not entirely happy with their work. I now go to Applr Repairs UK for all my apple repairs and software issues. If you are looking for an Apple Repair shop (and second hand Apple supplies) in East London, I would unhesitatingly recommend Apple Repairs Clapton. The 30" monitor on my (old) MacPro went out. We thought it was the monitor that was faulty (as my 23" worked on the same port) and Imran had another 30" in stock. All good? Turned out not to be so. It was actually the GeForce Video Card that was faulty. Imran immediately understood that these old cards can suffer from 'dry joints' so he re-soldered the board overnight (refurbished ones are £180++), and gave me a 1 year warranty on the work. And he took back the monitor I had bought, in lieu. Great work Imran and Raf. Thank you.

Did a swift repair on my macbook's hard drive and replaced the battery at little extra cost. Recently popped in re: my phone not receiving charge, they diagnosed it as having a clogged up charger port and cleaned it an no cost. Great customer service and great repairs. Would recommend.

Absolutely can't recommend these guys enough! Great service with the highest level of integrity. I went to them because my screen was no longer working. I suspected water damage but the official Apple Store said there wasn't any and I would need to get the screen replaced for about £600. However, I decided to bring my laptop here for a second opinion after a friend recommended them. They took apart the screen and noticed water damage in some of the cabling (something the official Apple store either didn't check or missed). They fixed this for a fraction of the price required to change the screen.

I was between flights in London when my i-phone suddenly stopped charging. I was concerned as I had a range of e-tickets on the phone that I wouldn't be able to access. Normally I always take any of my Mac equipment into their flag ship store in Regents Street but there was over a days wait for an appointment so I found Apple Repairs UK on line and it was close by. I was served by Matt, who was both friendly and knowledgeably and reassured me straight away that he would be able to get my phone charging. Basically the port had become clogged and just needed cleaning out. The phone was cleaned and fixed in 10 minutes and Matt refused to accept any payment for the task as he said it had been a simple and straight forward repair. In addition he spent time explaining how I could free up additional storage on my phone. All in all an excellent service and so rare to find someone willing to do something for nothing in the modern world. Therefore, I would award them five stars for their honesty, professionalism and friendly service. My only caveat would be to ask them to put a stool in their small waiting area if possible, as I am disabled and find it hard to stand. However, I didn't draw their attention to this and my repair was dealt with so promptly it was hardly an issue. Excellent service and highly recommended based on my experience.

Although the price was really cost effective, they did keep me waiting while they insisted on cleaning and polishing the computer. I had purchased the laptop from them about 3 years ago. Great guys who replaced my screen after my phone got wet on holiday. They even took out the rice that had wedged itself in the charger port for free and gave me a new screen protector. Great service! Unfortunately my phone dropped out of my pocket when bending down just 30 minutes later and the screen smashed. Very unlucky! 😩

Spent a day working on my laptop but ended up not charging anything as they weren't able to fix the problem without ordering in parts. I felt like they were very honest about the best solutions and did a better job than apple at determining the problem. Small detail I'd suggest you ask for them not to put the sticker on your laptop with your name and details as its very hard to remove!

My macbook had some kind of terrifying internal ailment and these guys repaired it in a matter of hours, the earliest available Genius bar appointment was not for an entire week and goodness knows what an extortionate and sluggish process that would have been! Came here with water damage to my macbook pro after the mac store told me that it was pretty much unrepairable and would charge me £800 for new parts. These guys cleaned it up and a replaced and desoldered a few small parts and its now working again perfectly. And the saved me £500. Even threw in a new back component for free as mine was all scratched up. So happy to have these guys on my doorstep. Don't trust the apple store. They will always try and sell you expensive new parts or encourage you to buy a new one.

I've been coming to Jay for 2 years. I'm a lifelong apple fanboy and know my machines' hardware and software in some depth. I do film editing, music production, website design and programming and own multiple machines. I've taken him small niggly jobs like deep cleaning and fixing track pads to expensive things like souping up my machine and sensitive stuff like data recovery. He has always done a brilliant job. Jay is always transparent and reliable and lays out all the options and explains them clearly. He always gives the best price and is fair if there are any problems. I've recommended him to many friends and never heard anything but good things back. The only thing I'd say is that it seems he has a lot of work on (I'm glad for him) so sometimes repairs can take a little longer than expected. But he is always communicative about this and ultimately its because he wants to ensure he does a good job. Thanks Jay! Sending more people your way!

I had an issue with start up disk full on my Macbook Pro, despite having cleared out my active files. I took it to the lads at Apple Repairs UK here in Lower Clapton. They identified stacks of hidden files and surgically removed them in no time! Probably something I could have found out how to do if I'd spent a few days watching Youtube but sometimes it is better to spend a bit of money on the experts and reward yourself with some quality time at the pub.

I did some research about upgrading the SSD Hard drive for my 15" 2013 MacBook Pro. I am very stringent with parts and dealers for my apple products but I decided it was time to upgrade the storage. I've now rebooted all of my data and did a disk check on the SSD with the Apple Disk Utility - everything verified and disk is working perfectly so far. The guys at the shop might not always seem to be, but they are skilled, knowledgeable and can be trusted for price and authenticity. Update: New hard drive on the Laptop is working perfectly and just had my iphone 7+ screen repaired. The guys showed me the screen was triple a grade and the quality is very good so far. Will continue to recommend him.
