I found GVC when I first moved to London 7 years ago. They fixed my laptop and I never forgot how helpful and friendly they were. When my current laptop recently stopped working, I was happy to find they still have their shop in the Queensway computer market. They were lightning fast with replacing my computer's hard drive and it's now running like a new computer. I really appreciate how upfront they are with their costs before beginning work and I never feel pressured into getting unnecessary work or upgrades done. I definitely recommend GVC for computer repairs and advice.

Highly recommended! I tried Apple initially to get the screen fixed on my 2017 Macbook Pro. It took me 2 weeks to get an appointment with the Genius Bar. After waiting for 20 minutes past my appointment time, I finally met an Apple "genius" who took 15 minutes to explain to me it would have to be sent away, cost at least £400 plus the cost of parts which could run into another £400, oh and I would lose my work laptop for at least a week. Not happening! Then I found GVC.... I called in at around 11am on a Saturday morning, Bassem took less than 5 minutes to tell me what the issue almost certainly was, and give me a good idea of the final price, with a £50 minimum fee. I left my laptop... By 7:30pm that evening, the Macbook was sitting back on my desk at home, with a brand new (2nd hand) screen, working as if nothing had happened. I can't recommend these guys enough, and will be using them for all my out-of-warrenty Apple products, and won't even bother with the so called "genius bar" next time. There is just no point when these guys can make this happen.

I wish I could recommend GVC even more. I work as a software contractor and my laptop is my livelihood. Apple quoted me two weeks without my machine and a price 5 times higher. I called up and explained my MAC had been dropped and brought it in. They immediately knew the MAC was fine datawise, but that the screen needed to be replaced. They had the spare screen in stock and I was able to collect my MAC within and hour. Nice guys. Happy to recommend.

Fast, affordable, and quality service! I brought my laptop in with pretty significant water damage, hoping they could help me get it back to at least somewhat functioning order. They were super helpful, listened to all my concerns questions, and gave me options. I just wanted it to be functional not pretty, and they gave me options as to which parts they could fix and for how much, which was so much more helpful than the guy at the apple store. What would have been a £500+ fix at the apple store was £120 here, and the turn around time was 3 days instead of 15+. Overall a great experience here!

I approached this company in February 2019 after a call describing the issues I was having with my computer.. Needless to say, after dropping off my computer, they went above and beyond by not only fitting it with a new hd ssd and power supply, but upgrade my windows operating system as well. The only mistake I made is forgetting to tell them to save my Mozilla Firefox bookmarks I had saved over the years. Sorry I took so long to rate your excellent service but I've finally kept to my promise. Great work Bassem, Gamal and Igor.

Spilt cider on my laptop and it was completely broken. My laptop was ready to pick up the next day with trackpad replaced and all my data present for £160 -- less than a quarter of what my friend had to pay at the apple store.

I am so happy with these guys! I got water on my MacBook Pro and it stopped working. The Apple store said I needed a new keyboard and logic board and it would cost £600. I was recommended to try GVC and I'm glad I did! They first said they'd do a treatment to remove water from all parts for £90, but then called me to say that when they had started to do this, it was clear it was only the keyboard that was damaged and that they could just replace that for a total cost to me of only £120. The service was also extremely quick and they are open till late - and friendly. I'd thoroughly recommend them. Thank you GVC!

Dell Laptop XPS 15 9530 less than 2 years old would not power on. Sent to Dell and paid for a diagnostic. I was told that the Motherboard was faulty but that they could not carry out the repair because the Motherboard model was not in stock. They suggested I try to buy one from the internet!!! Or that they will give me a 15% discount on a new laptop!!! This is utterly disgraceful as the laptop had cost me over £1,600 less than 2 years ago and I was facing the prospect of having to discard it. Sent it to GVC and the Motherboard was repaired in less than 2 days. Dell, supposedly the largest computer company in the world versus a local conscientious and efficient company. This makes you question everything.

Really happy with a speedy service! Two days before my essay deadlines my pc gave me a BSOD that I couldn't recover from myself and I hadn't backed up my work! Googled closest place to where I live, GVC came up and very happy it did. Took my computer and had no idea what was wrong and Gamal diagnosed it within 15 mins. My computer was seriously damaged and they repaired it completly without losing any of the data. It took a while because I have a Mac and the battery they had ordered was held up in customs BUT no one could controle that. that being said Apple were going to charge me 800£ or more if I didn't want the memory on my computer whiped. This only came to about 200£ for intense damage recovery. Very good pricing, for a very good service. Nicely done guys!

My laptop battery needed replacing ON A SUNDAY!! I looked everywhere for one. No one had it in stock. GVC didn't have the battery in stock either. It was urgent.....Bassem went out of his way to get hold of one and fit it same day (3hr turnaround). I can't thank them enough!

Trackpad broke on my mac, took it to a mac approved shop and was quote $800 to get it fixed. Gamal did it for about a1/5 of that cost and within 24 hours. And even when an extra part needed to be changed he did not charge extra. Would highly recommend.
