I've found my dream electrical store! So the belt on our dryer broke, and as a reasonably good 'DIYER' I thought I'd replace it myself. Ordered the belt on line, took the dryer apart, got the belt out and its the wrong size : ( Called loads of electrical stores to no avail, and was eventually rescued by Lynnes Electricals. They literally spent 20 plus minutes on the phone with me finding the obscure drive belt I needed. If that wasn't enough, they even hand delivered the belt to my house when it arrived, as I couldn't go and collect it as I have been quarantining after a holiday abroad. I fitted it this morning and its the exact one I needed!! I am spo pleased. THANK YOU to all at Lynnes Electrical. I will shop no where else now!! Rob DIY Bob XXX

Lynnes Electrical is, like all their reviews confirm, a truly wonderful shop/service with good old fashioned friendly and professional values, sadly now from a bygone era for most retailers/service providers. How wonderful they stand out providing us with our most precious "white" goods and necessary appliances such as boilers - the latter being investigated and fitted in a house in just over 24 hours from first calling the cool, calm and collected Mark! Their service is exceptional and prices extremely competitive. Will I ever use "never knowingly undersold" that usual stalwart retailer of mine again? Unlikely!

Amazing experience. I recently bought a fridge freezer from Lynnes electrical and i am in love. It is so pretty. Lynnes electrical saved the day as i had bought a fridge freezer from another company (who shall not be named) and they refused to deliver my fridge freezer because i had stairs (i live in a flat), i was sooo upset. A massive thank you to the delivery drivers Aaron and Cyrus who carried my fridge freezer up the stairs with ease, i was so grateful. I was recommend to buy from Lynnes electrical by a friend and they have definitely lived up to their reputation, the customer service i received was amazing. I am so happy and i will be buying from them again and i will be recommending Lynnes electrical to everyone i know that needs new appliances :)

Excellent service from Lynne's. Mum's fridge/freezer broke down suddenly. Lynne's had the item (and other choices) in stock and had it delivered, installed and the old one disposed of by 3.30pm the same day. Very friendly and knowledgeable on the phone too. Highly recommended, thanks

Came into store to purchase a washing machine for my mum, was met by a very friendly lady called Christine who advised us with which machine would be best for us and our needs. Delivery guys were very perlite and on time would highly recommend your store to others and would definitely be coming back for future purchases

I would give 10 stars for service if I could. Mark worked hard to meet my needs with delivery and installation of appliances in less that straight forward circumstances. When faced with an unexpected issue with installing one appliance, he got in touch to discuss the options before proceeding. I don't think the "personal touch" of dealing with a local bricks-and-mortar business can be matched by any of the online superstores.

I called in Thursday, trying to find a tall larder fridge, as my current fridge was on its way out. The young lady in the shop, went above & beyond to help find a fridge which would suit my needs. I highly recommend Lynnes. I bought some large items from them and I have to say the customer service is second none. They are a great team and Mark gave me superb advice on what to buy. He was very patient and explained everything really well. There were ongoing issues with the washer dryer I bought but Mark stepped in and the whole thing was resolved brilliantly and I now have the upgraded model and was compensated by the manufacturer for the inconvenience!!. I don't know of any other retailer that would go above and beyond to help their customers like this. Although I've moved out of the area they are my go to store for anything electrical.

Its great to know you can still call a shop and get help immediately. I called Christine for help with a tenant's dishwasher and she sorted out an engineer for me. No stress and no long wait for a slot. They are always helpful and good prices for all household goods.

Mark's help was invaluable in identifying a replacement for an obsolete cooker hood (the only one on the market that was suitable), sourcing it for us overnight and advising us to get a kitchen fitter who could do carpentry as well. We are very grateful for the time he invested in helping us to find a solution.

Last week I went into lynnes electrical and ordered a new gas oven I was so overwhelmed as they said it could be delivered the same day but I said no Monday will be fine and it was delivered at 13.30 the delivery men followed the Covid protocol they were polite respectful and smiling.A while later the gas safety engineer came and fitted the oven.I cannot praise lynnes Electrical high enough and would recommend that if you want any white goods do pay them a visit. Christine, at Lynnes Electrical, is like a fairy God mother, for the busy property manager, conjuring up practically non existent stock, in this Covid climate. Good, old fashioned values, in the modern manor! My usual, East London, supplier was quoting me 34 days for arrival, to a UK address, of a Blomberg (company established in 1883, in Germany) freezer, with a 3 year warranty (now owned by Beko). Christine even emailed me a receipt, after my purchase, at my request, which was handwritten and even itemised, with model numbers, immediately after we ended the telephone conversation!! I trusted Christine so much, that I telephoned Lynnes back the next day, to ask for a recommendation of a furniture supplier, for new divan bed bases, which one of her colleagues did, as Christine was on a well earned break, who recommended Beddy Buyz, also in Elephant and Castle, which was another good buy, at a fair price, delivered by the Owner, personally and his worker! Although the flat I was shopping for, is in North London, I found the details for Lynnes Discount Electrical Superstore's, which is in South London, on the Blomberg (Beko owned website). I was looking for a new freezer and dishwasher for new tenants. Christine sent her warehouse staff to find a Blomberg dishwasher, which was silver and thought to be in stock and said she would me call back in 10 minutes. Silver did not suit my decor, so I rang a few more suppliers, whilst Lynnes looked, who said dishwashers are like gold dust, at present, due to the factories, in Europe, shutting down for a while, because of the Virus. Not wishing to miss out, I phoned Christine back, soon, telling her of my dilemma and she persuaded me to go for a Bosch dishwasher, in white, of which I already have two, at other properties and also go for a Beko freezer (the parent of Blomberg!) In fact, the Beko freezer, she sold me, was almost identical to the c20 year old one I was replacing, which had been working well, but had a couple of broken drawer fascias. Christine's delivery guys also arrived on time, were extremely pleasant and installed the dishwasher quickly and efficiently. I'm only sorry I forgot to give them a tip. The Lynnes shopping experience was exemplary. I know where to shop for appliances in future!

Friendly Service . But beware gas cookers buyers of the gas installation charge this is only a standard charge like supplying a new gas hose and bayonet and connect. if they have to do any pipe work they will sting you for a extra cost. Just make sure the cooker you buy can be fitted with the standard charge Also make sure the cooker you buy has all the attachments you require as mine only come with one oven shelf and no grill handle when i called the shop they said that manufactures don't supply them now you have to buy them .... I read your reply i'm just informing the public of my experience so that they will not make the mistakes i made that's what reviews are for so they don't have to pay more then they need to ... Needed to buy a washing machine urgently. Phoned Lynne's Electrical and spoke with Christine. She advised price for machine, delivery and installation. I called at the shop completed the deal and Christine advised it would be delivered and fitted between 11am - 1pm. Prompt delivery around 12. Excellent service from a local establishment. Went to Lynne's to order a new Hotpoint cooker. The price including delivery and installation was very competitive and customer service was absolutely cracking. Everyone was really friendly and turned up exactly when they said they would. I'd definitely purchase white goods from these guys again.

Rather than trawl the web looking for a new washing machine, I went into Lynne's on Saturday lunchtime and spoke about what I needed to a real human being. By 10am on Monday, my new machine was installed, and the old one removed. Excellent local, independent, customer-focused service. I recommend Lynne's every time.
