I strongly recommend James. I had the stressful experience of my Laptop suddenly not working. James came and very efficiently diagnosed the problem and completed the repair. The Laptop now works faster and is better set up than before.

I initially contacted James and explained my problem, he let me know that what I was asking wasn’t a common issue and that it’s not necessarily something he usually deals with (computer console as opposed to PC etc) but he would give it a go anyway. James came and collected my broken PS4 (a soldered connection came off the motherboard and prevented it from powering on) and within a few days it was back and working perfectly. Perfect service and kept in good communication. Would recommend to anybody with any tech based issues.

I had the good fortune of a first home visit from James Broomfield in January 2019 and ever since no one else would be good enough for me. His patience and semplicity in explaining anything never fails to amaze me and he can put something wrong to right in 2 seconds flat! Around October 2021 my old laptop had become so unresponsive that I made it just in time to send James some specifications for him to establish whether it was worth saving. After that the drive just packed in completely but James instantly knew it was worth saving so he came as soon as as he could with a brend new drive 40 times faster than the old one and successfully transferred all the data. The laptop is now as good as new and I'm so happy !!! because I did not want to spend a fortune on a new one nor did I want a different one! Thank you so much for everything James! I have used James at Our Tech for quite a number of years now. He built my Home PC to a very high standard at a very good price which I still use today. The service still shows the health at 100% which is in my opinion amazing as I use every day for all sort's of web surfing and downloading. I have him service it every year and he has become a very good friend of the family. There have been occasions where I have used his services for advice, Laptop upgrades for my wife and daughters Laptops and repair's, and he even sorted me out a very good refurbished upgraded Laptop at an unbeatable price which I still use to mix music using a controller with Serato Software which demanded a good processor and a high memory. James did a fantastic job in building the a Laptop with more than the necessary minimum requirements. I have peace of mind knowing that I have a first rate technician that keeps all of his knowledge and skills up to date and therefore is always on the ball when it comes to servicing and diagnostics. The service I have had from Our Tech has been first class over the years. Computers and IT can be so overwhelming for some but James from Our Tech has a great expertise but is able to communicate the issues at any level. He has supported my mother-in law (a tech phobic) in setting up new computer systems and now she is confident in sending e-mail and using apps. He helped me set up business systems, security camera systems. Even assisting with mobile and tablet security for you and your children's devises. Nothing is too much trouble big or small. If you have a issues with your smartphone, tablet or computer system our tech is your first point of call. If you want to feel like a VIP then use Our tech as you are not just another customer you are treated as a person.

James is a lovely and professional IT technician that has helped me multiple times this year, even through a pandemic! My laptop gaming drivers disappeared so I was unable to play any games, James managed to log in remotely and find and sort the issues. Later this year I needed my laptop battery changed and once we had decided on a date, he popped over to my house with a mask and gloves on and made quick work of it, leaving everything clean and tidy. I was recommended to 'try' James ten years ago and I have used him to sort out all sorts of glitches over ten years. I certainly have never been disappointed. He seems to be able to deal with everything and is always there no matter how big or small the issue is. When my technician at my university was unable to help me when my laptop died and considered irreparable, James came to the rescue and managed to restore all the vital documents etc that I needed and put them on a new drive for me.and which later was pit into a newer and better laptop. A few years ago, James came to my house and fixed a small hardware problem I had on my laptop. He also did a general service and clean up. At every stage, James arrived on my doorstep exactly when he said he would. James always made sure I knew what the cost would be. The problems were sorted out and I am still using the same laptop. I am now using Virgin Media for emails while using a Pipex email address. TalkTalk dropped their support for the outgoing server and James managed to arrange Virgin Media as the server for outgoing emails, while leaving the incoming server as Pipex. James is an outstanding computer technician. I have found him to deal with matters in a very effective way, and any problematic issues are minimised by focussing on the key aspects. James is very knowledgeable about all aspects of computer maintenance and repair and shows very high professionalism.
