My boyfriend and I were served by Harley (Pretty sure that's his name! Tall with transparent glasses :)) today and we were blown away with how friendly he was!! We came in looking for an apple watch and the customer service provided was just amazing! It was clear he knew a lot about the products and was just overall a lovely guy to chat to :) we never felt pressured to rush either, so this was really nice.

5* Service from Chris on Thursday 4th Nov. I was booked in the Genius Bar at 9, and Chris discussed my issue with my Macbook Pro - offered to perform a quick clean to see if that resolved the issue, which it unfortunately didn't - had to be sent off for a replacement part, Chris explained the possible timeframes to expect, and was friendly throughout. Originally advised 10-14 days but it has just arrived, so 8 days in total.
Great service and highly recommend, and huge thanks to Chris!

Seamless repair on my airpods today.. Inky Dan sorted me out and what a guy this kid is, talked about my potential options once the diagnostics had come back and various other unrelated stuff... Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Extremely busy place to visit. I went for a battery replacement for my iPhone. My phone was scanned to check whether the battery was the problem or something else. Battery fault was detected and a replacement was done. A payment of £25 was made. One caveat, please don’t go for repairs without an appointment.

Visited the store today, which was a little confusing at first because I wanted to see my product before purchasing and I didn’t realise I needed an appointment. They went out of their way to help and Harley agreed to serve me. He was extremely helpful, friendly, taking time to explain thoroughly and though my purchase wasn’t high in Apple terms, he made my custom feel of value.
Definitely a safe space; temperature checked on entry, hand get put on your hand and plenty of space around you.

I made a booking for a passcode reset at 4.30pm and it was super busy and got delayed 30 min,, probably because it was a Saturday. Other than that, the service provided was excellent and the guy that attended me was super friendly. We were having really interesting conversations, while the phone was resetting. Worth going!

Plenty of people work there so no need to queue to get some help. Lots of the latest Apple products to buy or just have a look at while you make your mind up how much you are going to spend in here. We visited this morning as my son's iPhone was not working.
We were seen straight away and I was impressed by the quick service available. The issue needed looking into further so we waited for a genius. Whilst we did, I couldn't help but watch a member of staff attending to an elderly gent who was clearly experiencing some issues with his phone.
There are many people who should take a leaf out of his book. Never once watching him did he look as though the customer was a burden. He must have been with him 45 minutes, patiently talking him through processes etc in order for him to get up and running. He was pleasant, friendly, helpful and more importantly patient. It's so important to realise that not everyone has the same technical abilities and speed in which to action things.
I believe his name was Maxwell.
Maxwell, I commend you as you probably made a huge difference to that guys life today. People are very quick to complain but not so much to praise.
I mentioned to a manager, I hope it's been recognised.
Sadly our sons iPhone has has better days!

Very impressed with this store! There was an efficient system for separating purchasers from those with technical problems, and every member of staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. The staff are friendly and knowledgable about the service and product. The product is way overpriced, and hyped. I own an iMac myself and there have been times thus far that I wanted to get the computer and throw it out of the window- I could have paid half the price for new computer and not felt that way.
The interior of the shop itself has not changed since it first opened- it could do with a refit or a refurb, and customers should not be encouraged to loiter. It makes no sense to have a store full of people who are clearly not in there to buy an accessory or a computer???? WHY!?

Had an issue with my iphone 6 Plus, i was late by 15 minutes for appointment due to parking but the guy who checked me in was very polite and welcoming and said u r fine. I was seen promtly by Andrea who listened to my concerns thoroughly. He suggested some solutions which i was not happy with, he then went in and spoke to engineer and got to bottom of the problem and offered a more reasonable solution i was happy with. We went into the store to see if an item was available. There were lots of customers and loads of staff members eager to help. The item was not on the shelf so they got it sent down from above, which is where it took the time but the staff member was polite and carried on talking with us. The transaction was painless and easy with an emailed receipt and we were on our way with no fuss at all.
Got home and the item will not work with older versions of Mac OS.... DOH...

What an excellent example of good customer service. I recently went into the store with a broken laptop screen (through no fault of my own may I add, the experience may have been slightly different otherwise I cannot be sure) and the staff were extremely helpful. my laptop was sent away to be fixed that same day and was returned 2 days later fully working good as new. I always feel lost entering an Apple store. Great for browsing goods, but hopeless if you have a query. I went in by appointment to have my phone battery changed, but it took 5 min to find someone to help. They all look important with iPads, even a bit intimidating. Stood in a queue to discover I had to talk to a person with a red iPad. This after I had great difficulty and multiple phone calls to get an appointment. Saw a young salesman while waiting and had some very honest advice whether I should buy a new phone

I had booked an appointment with one of the Apple Geniuses. I have had a problem with the battery within my old iPhone. I arrived 5 minutes prior to the arranged time and was seen promptly by a helpful young guy called Jonny. He undertook several diagnostic tests via his iPad. A lot of results I was already aware of as I have worked in IT and am a retired pro photographer so I know my batteries.
Conclusion: I needed a new battery fitted under the current Apple scheme. None in stock but he ordered one without me paying in advance. So a painless but relaxed professional experience.

It's fine. Same as every other apple store you've visited in the past 10 years of your life. The staff are a little bit on the annoying side. Asked somebody about the Apple watch, didn't even attempt an answer and was asked to wait by the watches for another staff member to meet me there in 5 minutes. Once I'd decided on the watch, I moved on to headphones, apparently £100 is entry level for headphones. This from the people that routinely shipped headphones worth less than £1 with their iPods. Love the product designs. Pretty much everything else is just irritating.

It was nice, i tested the ipad pro both big and small and i liked that i could see how they work and all. was able do draw for an hour so im glad they allowed that.
Edit after a year: i got an ipad eventually, its good for drawing, but you cant connect and transfer files from your computer to your ipad. unfortunately apple is horrible with documents, files, images, music and video transfers from a device to another which isnt an iphone or ipad, keep that in mind when ordering apple products. they dont easily allow you to make their devices your own. which is horrible user experience. everything is proprietary. you'll end up spending much more money than your initial apple purchase.

I brought my Macbook in for a free screen replacement repair (the anti-reflective coating issue, also known as "the staingate"). My Macbook was inspected within 5 minutes by a very nice Genius bar employee. They gave me a 7-10 day turnaround time but my computer was ready for collection at 2pm the next day. I haven't had to experience any Apple servicing or Genius appointments personally, so as far as the shopping experience goes - this store has the usual good selection of accessories on show as well as core Apple products. Often very busy unless you visit earlier in the day, but staff seem to cope well with the workload and it doesn't actually take too long to speak to somebody, who most of the time is friendly and keen to help out.

Have been in here a few times recently with faulty phones – ok the product may be falling short of 5 stars but the service isn't. The guys on the genius bar have always been very friendly and helpful. I've actually found a little tip is to book the last slot of the day. That way they shoot through the phone checking as quick as they can as their shift is nearly up. I've gotten away with a few more bumps and scratches than I should have been allowed. Booking in an appointment is very easy and can be done from your phone (if it's working that is). I'm always surprised how many people turn up while your there thinking they can walk straight in and get their phone fixed.

So relatively speaking, all Apple Stores are in a different league to your average PC World or Phones4U, so expectations are always higher. That's why I was disappointed with my visit to this store today. Of the two Apple TVs that were on display, which is what I'd gone in to check out, one was completely switched off and the other was stuck on the demo. I asked two staff members if I could have a play around with one, the first begrudgingly said she'd find someone to help but didn't, the second was very polite but didn't have a clue and quickly gave up (she suspected someone had spilt a drink over them).
In the past, Apple Stores were a joy to visit. The sales staff prided themselves on their knowledge, politeness and customer service. During today's visit I saw a staff members dressed in a North Face jumper and pair of Jack Wills sweat shorts - very poor.

We Had just upgraded our phones and my husband and I found ourselfs at a loss to get into them and unfortunately O2 were not able to help us.
So along came Declan who helped us and stayed very patient with us and after all of his help we felt so much more confident,
I came away inspired to learn more about the Apple company and there products.

I've been to the Apple Store in the Arndale Centre many times to purchase products. The staff are always helpful & will walk you through products discussing which would best suit your needs. My first purchase was a late 2009 Mac Mini & seeing I was just switching to OS X from Windows, I had quite a few questions which the staff member was very knowledgeable about. Since then I have returned for various different products including a new Mac when I upgraded, new iPhone when I upgrade & an iPad Mini. One of my most recent visits was when my current Mac Mini crashed during an upgrade to macOS Sierra. I panicked when it happened & could not resolve the issue myself, so I booked an appointment with a member of the Genius Bar, who offered to restart the upgrade or wipe the HHD & do a fresh install. I chose a fresh install & my Mac Mini now runs as fast as it did when I first inboxed it. Overall great store!

Fabulous experience. On Thursday 11 February I took my ancient pay as you go phone in to have my contacts transferred to a new iphone6s. I bought the iphone the day before and as it is my first one did not realise you could just transfer the contacts. The first member of staff I met was charming but said he coukdn't do it but would find me someone and got me to sit near Paola who was busy with a customer but was equally charming and said she would do it when she had finished. The next member of staff, who I think may have been a manager, said he would try but then thought he didn't have the correct cable. He got me Jay Fisher, who never stopped smiling, was really excited because he had never seen such an old phone and he transferred contacts and photos for me. It took a few minutes but he was chatty and friendly the whole time and I think has talked my friend into upgrading to an iphone6. He explained all about the genius bar, the workshops and online support. He took so much time helping me that I am really grateful.

Love the fact you can play with the products and try suff out. Good job though because the guy I spoke too, though super friendly and very chatty, didn't quite have the product knowledge he should. I was trying yo decide if a keyboard or a pencil would be better for my iPad Pro 12.9 inch particularly in use with Garageband for assisting in splitting and move track sections. He said the pencil. Turns out, having used one of the ipads in there with a pencil and then Google searching forums, that the pencil doesn't work in Garageband. The keypad doesn't help that much either but I'll get more use out of it in the other applications I use. Not so much with the pencil... So I went for the keyboard. Not cheap though at £169 I have to say when my Microsoft Surface one was about £80..... But great shop!

Marking a star off as going in to this one is like the old 90s show Gladiators' event 'Run the Gauntlet' where here you're tackled at each level of display tables you walk through. You start with a polite, "No thank you" but by the time you get to The Wolf at the 5th bank of tables you're ready with expletives and a confirmed sense of paranoia.
