I think this is worth sharing my wife bought me a coffee machine as part of a Christmas gift . ie 5 months ago the machine itself failed about a week ago I took it back to day I was first told I must send back myself to the manufacturer my self I said no to that . Which came the reply they would with the provision the company may want to talk to me again I was not happy with that . They did point out I only had 1 month to return the product . At this point I told the sales person I must have 1year to have it replaced. I was offered a 3 year warranty which was £10 ( reduced to £5 manages offer) at which the machine was replaced. Please stick up for your rights I now have a new coffee machine if anything goes wrong the machine it will be replaced . But that cost me £5 .....

Well, there aren't many places on the high street where you can buy a laptop, so it was either here or Argos. What I didn't like was that they had many laptops on display but when I asked to purchase one I kept getting told it wasn't in stock. So I ended up with one that was probably my 4th choice. If they carry on like that their high street shops will close, as how is having to order one any different to shopping on the internet? I can do that myself.

Bought a washing machine and drier. I bought 2 appliances that online research hadn't flagged up. There is nothing like going and seeing, feeling and touching these items which no amount of online research can do. Kevin was super knowledgeable and I feel I've bought 2 things which will do exactly what I need them to do. It's easy to get confused by all th online information these days, but nothing beats a knowledgeable sales assistant.

The place is good for convenient pick ups of online purchased products. It works as a drive through, you enter with your car , give a few details and by the time you are around it, your order is ready to be picked up by you. However, they do not provide any carry bags so of you are going via bike or a public transport, I suggest you must bring a carry bag with you. I went there in COVID Pandemic, thus all the safety guidelines were in effect, meant you have to checkin using their QR code or the site link and fill up the details such as your name, Order number and Contact number. Which will put your order in a virtual queue and then when your turn comes up, you can collect it.

Went recently with my mum to get her laptop fixed. Staff didn't greet us and acted like it was an inconvenience we were there. They didn't speak clearly (essential when wearing masks), and used technical jargon when talking to my mum which is confusing when you don't have that knowledge. Only giving 3 stars because they actually fixed the problem for her. They also took down my mum's details wrongly so they couldn't contact her to say it was ready to be picked up.

This company is not usually known for super helpful staff but have to say I visited and spoke with a Spanish guy who works there and he was very good and helped me identify the correct tablet for me considering English was not his first language he was great so top marks to pc world for employing him

It's always good to talk to a sales assistant who know what they are talking about. Went to buy a TV, Alex answered all of he technical questions correctly,gave impartial advice, offered suggestions and then worked out multiple ,,' best deals' depending on what package we opted for.. Nothing was too much trouble, he was patient,friendly and everything you want when you ship for electronic goods. The store was clean and uncluttered and pleasant to shop in . Spent over £550 and feel very happy with the deal. Well done Alex .

Visited the store as I needed many appliances and spoke to Benjamin and Kevin from PCW Business. They set me up a quote and I returned once to amend it and a second time to pay for it. They spent a large amount of time with me and were both very friendly and helpful. Fantastic service all round and I would absolutely recommend to anyone. Update: 29/10/2020 I used Currys again, this time using the retail side and I was so impressed with the service, having purchased a new television. The staff in this store are all so friendly, helpful and knowledgable.

This place is full of tech. Ranging from home things to computer tech to smart home accessories. I would recommend this place to have a look at what is on the market that is worth buying or to get a general idea to help refine what you are looking for however I don’t recommend buying much from there as a lot of their things are overpriced. The place is big and makes you feel comfortable while at the same time making you not want to leave. I also like how there are displays and try out tech so that you can get a feel of what you are looking to buy.this helped me when I was trying to decide which mouse and keyboard I was going to buy.That staff is friendly and most of the time knowing the answers to my questions. There are also screens which you can use to look up what items they have. Overall it is a very good place for having a look at what the market offers

I bought a phone but no flexibility if spending a lot on a number of items like a tv, soundsystem and mobile almost £2000 a no discount or deal, it was take it or leave from the staff. Bit the products are always very good.

Somewhat irritating that they don't open until 10am which is late, especially when just about all the other stores here open at 9am latest and earlier, not helpful when you want to visit more than one store on your outing.

Staff know basic information about the products and are helpful when asking about components and products! I would always recommend comparing the price of the desired product on the store website and the website of the manufacturer. The manufacturer website will most likely show a cheaper price

This is the place to go, when you need to buy a 85" TV and want to pay 65" TV prices, And the tech guys knowledge is a great assistance when choosing the right TV package - as not all TV's are the same! Also they are open to a little negotiations for the best prices. Decent parking outside as well

Good selection of products decent prices the only problem with this place is it takes ages to get served. it has a 2 hour parking eye I was in buying a laptop and by the time I was served and had the programmes installed and set up I went over the 2 hour mark ended up with a £120 fine if I was to go to currys the metrocenter or cramlington would be a better choice

I sort of broke my missus's stick blender attachment to her 40 year old (made in West Germany?) hand held Braun multi mixer. This replacement is every bit as good. Good product for the price I got something from here and I have to warn ⚠ you don't get caught out with the broadband service check as when I checked it in store the cheapest option was eg sky the curry's man said that the provider will contact you directly then thay take a £5 deposit out of your bank account and then they go ahead the process to change your provider without any notice and before you know your with a new provider and charged new customer price's

Love the shop just wish there was more cameras on display and with battery's and some cases I wanted to try them out but the battery's was dead so I couldn't try it to make my decision so went to Jessops, not curry's fault but people trying them and not switching back off for it to charge as I went 3x and each time the Sony a6000 wouldn't work d5500 and 70d at the time, got myself a Sony A7 went to Durham and they had it on display and more on display so don't know why this one can't as have the room and more tripods etc on display
