I've used Mac Repair in Nottingham a few times over the years, and it's always great service. From broken batteries to new SSD cards, it's a speedy service that cuts out the middleman of needing to use Apple. During Covid, Jonathan will pop down to the door to chat to you and get your details to keep you safe, but also will communicate over email the whole time. The price is great, especially when the computer is no longer under Apple guarantee, so get yourself to Mac Repair now!

I can’t recommend this Company highly enough - they really know their stuff. After struggling with an ageing IMac, which was so slow it was sending my blood pressure soaring, Jonathan replaced the hard drive and now it’s faster than the speed of light - meaning I get much more work done. Really pleased with the service I received at Mac Repair Nottingham. They retreived all the data from my failing drive, backed it up onto an external and then installed a new SSD drive - it's now working perfectly. There was an honest mistake with my initial repairs regarding an overcharge for reconditioned parts, also my laptop was returned with the majority of the case screws missing after considerable charges. If it wasn't for this however, it would be a 5 star review. I was promptly offered an upgrade on my mac (16GB ram) to compensate the amount overcharged, and then free of charge recieved a new track pad (without prompting) as it had been cracked. Jon even dropped the laptop of to my address as i had a broken foot at the time. There were a few minor issues with the service, overall though I appreciate the pride and attentiveness you put into your work Jon, good job! Update - It's been around 6 months since I recieved a second replacement for the battery; the initial replacement was a reused battery that was immediately faulty (i was still charged for a brand new, full operative battery) After resolving this, the battery once again requires servicing half a year later, i've been advised a battery for this laptop on average should last 4-5 years. I appreciate the original measures for compensating mistakes, however this means keeping my battery working on average yearly with this service would cost £140, and that the 90 day warranty has very little to no use.

I had a recurring problem over several, months with an iPhone 8 touchscreen not working. It was driving me nuts but Mac Repair stuck with it, trying all cheaper options until eventually it was fixed by replacing the screen. They were very reluctant to charge anything at the early stages as it still wasn't working properly and didn't want to put me to unnecessary expense. As well as being experts in their area they are also very pleasant people to deal with.

I had a repair to USB Flash Drive after it was heavily damaged (Laptop fell off table and landed on drive.) I had all but given up hope when some other company did a botched job, badly soldering. Mac Repairs got it cleaned up and repaired excellently. I Got all my data off it. Turnaround times for computer repairs are pretty good, compared to competitors. They have always treated my equipment good and got it back up and running. I would definitely recommend them. The staff are polite and helpful.

Excellent service from Jonathan, who replaced my daughter's iPhone screen. This was done at short notice as the country started to go into 'lockdown' and, once dropped off, the phone was available within the hour = one very happy teenager afterwards. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing! I went to the Official Apple store and was told it would cost £170 to get my hard drive replaced, however they don't do data back up so I would have to pay £100 just to get my hard drive returned then pay to get the data off somewhere else. Tony charged me £140 to replace the hard drive, back up all my data and gave me my old hard drive back! He was also dusted the insides and all in 24hrs, he even allowed me to collect it on the bank holiday. He was great and I'd recommend the store to anyone! :)

Absolutely excellent service. I wasted £160 on two other shops offering repair services who had little clue, were doubtful about preserving existing data on hard drive (which needed to be replaced). These folk were far cheaper, confident and processed hard disk replacement in just over 24 hours .with total preservation of data and programmes... other repair centres had to post away and turnaround time was quoted as two weeks. If you need any repair on Apple products then go to these guys ... even if it is a long drive!

Home I Mac screen died, then lots of other problems, Jon replaced hard drive and has worked tirelessly to sort other problems. Absolutely super service. My iPhone 4S passed away during the night and I took it to these guys in the morning. They fixed the stuck top button, took it out of its booting up loop and returned it to me with all its data (which I hadn't backed up in months) still intact. All fixed whilst I ran some errands in the village. Really nice chaps. VERY good value for money. I will now always go back for any Apple or Windows issues, as I have every confidence they'll be able to help.

After being informed by one repairer that my phone would be sent away for a week to cure iPhone 6 display problems (after being dropped), I was absolutely delighted to speak to this repairer at Arnold as they understood the problem and could fix it in 40 minutes at half the cost quoted by their competitor. Simply fantastic! I'm on a short academic visit in Notts and my laptop is my most valuable tool for my work. Two days ago, My Macbook screen remained black suddenly and I practically panicked with the only thought of the expensive repair at a Apple Store. I didn't know what to do and googled for a short while, so their link popped immediately. After reading the reviews, I decided to drop off my laptop at the Mac Repair office. Jonathan was very kind and professional. I left my Mac yesterday at noon and today it was already fixed! They replaced the LCD screen for a really affordable price. A way cheaper and faster than the Apple Service. It's an excellent choice for devices with their warranties off. I strongly recommend this service and it's a pity that we don't have something similar in Colombia. I will miss these guys.

I had a spill on my keyboard which would've cost a lot more to get fixed by Apple. £130 for a new keyboard & fitting included which is a good price as I know it's a tedious job for macbook pros. Jonathan was very nice and friendly and I got it back the next day so I can get straight back to work. Also he use to work for Apple as a lead technician so it's the same quality service but not apple prices win win!!! Thank You :)

I had a 2011 iMac with a faulty Graphics Card that both Jigsaw and KRCS said they couldn't repair (service, help, advice etc from the later company was abysmal!). Mac repair were great. Yes they use recon parts stripped from other machines, but they repaired my Mac within 10 days when no one else could/wanted to, at what I considered to be a very fair price of £320 ... much better than the £2,000+ needed for a new machine (as advised by KRCS ... who even then didn't seem bothered about advising on the best solution, despite the fact I had money to spend!) I'd definitely recommend and use again ... thanks guys!

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! My iPhone 4S was well and truly smashed after it took a trip down a flight of stairs onto a tiled floor courtesy of my daughter. I came to these guys after apple tried to persuade me it would be cheaper to buy a new 5s than fix mine, and an hour later it was as good as new. They also alerted me to the fact that I had been palmed off with a refurbished phone (missing 2 screws and with a piece of tape holding down a bit inside) by my phone company which I will be taking up with them

My ancient MacBook Pro died. It had been going slowly for sometime and I was about to buy a new one. But then it just ground to a halt and I was desperate to get my stuff of it as my backup had been less than efficient. So I took it to these guys to see if they could help. Andy was brilliant. He kept me informed every step of the way and after two days I picked up my laptop which is like brand new. It is super fast and now has a terabyte of space. I didn't lose a single piece of data and everything is exactly the same - even my screen saver, bookmarks and emails going back years. It cost me £190 quid - best money I've spent in a long time. I can't speak highly enough of these guys. Thank you.

We took in our Macbook which wouldn't boot up. They fixed it overnight, cleaned it inside and out and fitted 2 new rubber feet, all for £49. Effective, quick and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

My MacBook Pro had failed to boot. Tried the likes of Pc World and was looking at having to purchase a new one. Send it away for 5 days etc etc!!!!. Telephoned Mac Repair who were very helpful and gave a possible diagnosis. Drove 15 miles and well worth the trip as it was repaired within the hour. Nothing too much trouble. I would totally recommend 'Mac Repair' as a first contact if you have a problem. Thankfully I didn't take the major store advice and effectively saved myself £1000. What I would say is take full advantage of 'Time Machine' as I had to have my HDD replaced. A big thank you. I will certainly use you again and I was happy with the bill.

The water damaged and cracked screen to my lads iPhone 6 was dead and buried, I took it to Mac Repair Arnold Nottingham on the off chance and spoke Jonathan he said leave it with me? 48 hours later I got a text form Jonathan come and collect it. I couldn't recommend Tony at Mac Repair more highly. My MacBook Pro died on this week, I called Tony, took it in to the shop and it was fixed the same day. New hard disk fitted, data recovered from the old broken hard disk and OS upgraded for a very low price. Was ready the same day. If you have a problem with your Apple product, don't hesitate to call Mac Repairs!

This place saved me a lot of pain! I'd had my Macbook Pro fixed elsewhere, but was told that my old hard drive was not recoverable - and no, I hadn't backed up the 4 years of photos, documents, music etc...then I was quoted £750 by a specialist data recovery service in London, which seemed ridiculous. Last throw of the dice? Took it to this place...they got all the data back, helped me reinstall it on the Mac and charged me £30 - cheers, guys - will recommend you to everyone I know with a Mac.

Fantastic service! Tony and Jonathan were friendly, incredibly helpful AND affordable, which is a great combination. I had a problem with the screen on my Macbook Pro, which I tried to have fixed at another computer repairs shop, without success. I was at my wits end and thought my computer was totally goobered! I left my Macbook with them and, with immense trepidation I might add; called them the following day. It was fixed. I was so relieved and of course happy - especially when he told me how much I owed. They are now my go-to-guys, even though it means travelling from Matlock in Derbyshire......trust me, it's worth the journey. 10/10

I'd bought 3 cables and another USB in car charger and it was still dying, not very convenient when you are working and relying on it for phone calls, emails, messages, weather and satnav! I popped in to get the phone sorted, he fixed it within 5 mins whilst fixing someone else's monitor - no charge! It was pocket fluff in the Lightning port. Brilliant service, fast and friendly! Smashed my iphone 4 screen weeks ago and didnt have a clue where to go or how to get it fixed. I was particularly concerned that I would have to send it away or leave it somewhere overnight. The deal I got at mac repairs was cheaper than anywhere else I was quoted so I was waiting for the catch but my phone was fixed wirhin an hour and they even threw in a case for me at no added charge. Thank you Tony for the excellent work. My ipad was working fine, before and after it had a fight with the patio floor. The dent on the corner and the cracked glass were not so good so I decided to get it fixed. Brilliant place to find. I went there after finding this place via google and reading reviews. It's a rare thing these days when you find somewhere like this. The owner has 20+ years working with mac's of all types. Knows his stuff as do the staff. Brilliant advice and they can fix almost anything at a cost!
