Paul and John-Paul did an absolutely outstanding job on lounge and hall floors! I couldn’t recommend Paul and his company highly enough as thoroughly knowledgeable in area of expertise and wholeheartedly trusted their advice in what was best for bringing wooden floors back to life! Don’t bother using anyone else, give Paul a call! They did such a great job they are coming back to fix a job done poorly by somebody else! Just top clad and A rated all round!

Paul and JP have just finished sanding and refinishing the oak floors in our new house. They also did a small repair needed after a full house rewire. The difference is amazing. The floor looks like new. They were reliable, easy to communicate with and did a fantastic job. They arrived on time and finished the work as promised. AaP were quite simply outstanding. We asked Paul to completely refurb our wooden floorboards which hadn't been touched for 125 years or so. The process was explained to us fully with all options discussed before and during the job, going through finishes and issues as we went. Dust and noise was less than expected and disruption to family life was minimal. Paul and Jon-Paul were a joy to host for the 5 days it took to do the work - professional, courteous and friendly. Everyone has commented on the floors as being the best job they have seen and of course we are immensely happy with the result and hope to have AaP back to the house in the coming months to strip and finish the stairs and other areas of the house. I really can't praise this company highly enough, I need more stars! They restored the original parquet flooring throughout the ground floor of my house and the result is simply outstanding. I was really quite nervous about getting it done, it's an original feature of the house and I was nervous that it would look too new, too shiny and would lose its character. I needn't have worried. Paul is so knowledgeable about the different types of wood that were in the various rooms, he listened to my concerns and talked through the different options, the methods used and the choice of finishes. I opted for the clear oil finish to bring out the best of the wood grain, and wow! I am absolutely thrilled. In addition to that Paul and John-Paul were a pleasure to have in the house, punctual, respectful of the property, professional and tidy ... and there really is no dust! I was prepared for dust everywhere after the sanding stage but the machine's are so efficient they capture it all. They also took the time to explain to me how I need to care for the floors going forward, to ensure they stay looking as fantastic as they now do. If you're considering having any flooring work done speak to AaP, you won't be disappointed.

-TOP QUALITY- After getting several quotes from floorers for sanding pine boards in our newly bought 1930s terraced house, these guys came out top. Not the cheapest out of the quotes (mind you still very reasonable), but the fastest, warmest and most professional response by far. With these guys, you get what you pay for. Professional, courteous and with a thorough and considered eye for detail. They clearly know their stuff. Very happy with our floors, and thank them for their hardwork. What can I say, Paul and his team are great! They arrived promptly and communication was good before and after the work. They discovered a leak before starting work on my floor, Paul had a plumber out within the hour and had the problem sorted. The floor itself had been considerably scratched and stained and it's come up so beautiful that it's a travesty to cover it with furniture. The guys really went above and beyond and I'd gladly recommend them. Five stars

AAP did a really good job on restoring my floors, so much so they are actually better than when newly laid. I can’t praise Paul and his team highly enough, they were definitely not the most expensive of quotes, but I can’t imagine a better finish than that on the floor now Consummately professional, arriving on time each day, no mess left and virtually no dust. We inherited unloved parquet flooring when we bought our house. It had been covered by carpet for many years and looked terrible- a horrible shade of orangey brown, full of staple holes and with numerous loose blocks. We even considered removing the blocks as we doubted that it could ever look good. Paul and John Paul have totally transformed our lounge and hall - both large areas that now look amazing. The blocks are actually Maple and now look light and show the beautiful variation of the natural wood. We are absolutely delighted with the result and would not hesitate to recommend these craftsmen! They take real pride in their work and are a pleasure to have in your house. Their equipment ensures that sawdust is captured, making the job unbelievably clean and they arrived and finished as promised. We can’t thank them enough!!!

This was a major undertaking for us having to remove all furniture etc from 3 big rooms as well as an L shaped hall. Paul's initial visit was calm and reassuring. Friends who had this type of work done in the past with other companies had warned us to expect excessive mess and dust.However with their state of the art machinery we were promised a virtually dust free experience which proved to be the case. We had a 1950's worn out parquet floor which has been brought back to its magnificent former glory. AAP did my floors this week, solid oak that had been down for 15years, quite marked and yellowing. I had chosen to change colour to dark oak then wondered if this was the right decision when I saw the beautiful natural floor that AAP had uncovered with their expertise. I stuck with decision to go darker and I am beyond happy with the result. Looks better than when first put down new. I had recently decorated and was worried about dust or needing to paint everywhere again. AAP left my home unbelievably clean and I only needed to touch up some of skirting boards. I got 4 quotes for the work and AAP were comparable to most and half the cost of one company who quoted. Worth every penny.

Nearly two years ago now Paul restored our parquet 1950's hall floor and I have to say its still as beautiful now as when he finished it. He carefully sanded it (no mess) and then treated it with his recommended product which was a very low sheen almost matt finish . Our hall is a busy throughfare and the floor takes a lot of 'battering' but its stayed looking lovely . Any footprints coming in from outside are easily washed off with a slightly damp cloth , non of the dirt has ever penetrated it , its so easy to look after . Paul completed the job in record time, his estimate was extremely competitive ; 2 years on , its here for a lifetime so definitely money well spent . Thanks Paul .
