Pat and his team (about eight in total on my job) have just completed what was effectively three patios, a path down either side of my garden, and the path down the side of the house, in Indian stone. Pat worked with me on getting the most out of my budget, which was limited, and at the same time managed to help with a couple of extras such as running a power cable to the cabin at the end of my garden. Part of that involved lifting the path down the side of the house, which I couldn't afford to have relaid in stone. Rather than putting my old flags down, Pat laid the Indian stone for free, so it would all match! Pat didn't request any payment until the job was complete, and on completion, I paid. The day after this I spotted a small issue. I mention this as a positive, not a negative. Having paid, it would be easy for a company to fob off a customer. Instead Pat sent two of the team back the same day, and the issue was resolved in a matter of hours from spotting it. I work planning big construction projects, and I haven't known a project where there hasn't been one or two issues. The key to a good job is to find a company that doesn't let you down when an issue crops up, especially when you've already paid and hand lost leverage! I also like to be quite hands on when people are doing work for me, asking questions and making suggestions as work progresses. The stone laying team were perfectly happy to take on board what I was saying, explaining to me why certain elements were being carried out in a certain way, and always checking I was happy with what they were doing. They even gave me a pot of cement to do a fix on my porch I'd been meaning to do for ages! All in all, a quality product, reliable service where it counted, great value, and a nice personal touch from Pat too. Nb. The brown areas in the pics are where new lawn has been seeded.

Pat and the team undertook a large area (approx 165 sqm) renewal of a driveway and patio, block paved thoughout. In addition to the block paving, some additional works were carried out including the installation of cable ducts, dropping a kerb / tarmaccing the pavement and fence renewal. We were kept up to date on plans & progress and the team worked hard to ensure the job was completed as quick as possible. ***LONG POSITIVE REVIEW WARNING*** BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS We used 'WD&P' a few weeks ago. They ripped up old rotten decking from in the backgarden and we had it replaced with Indian Sandstone in the colour 'Camel Dust'. We decided whilst doing the back - why not have the driveway block paved at the same time to minimise the chaos of moving everything and having work done. Patrick was brilliant and very responsive from day one. He advised us on what was best and suited our needs. He showed us different options and photos/swatch books. There are lots of stone colours to choose from (they all look different when wet & dry - just to add to the decision making.) When we finally made our choice of color, we were in direct contact with Toni, she sent us invoices which included a breakdown of the tasks that would be carried out. She is only a phone call away and very helpful. Toni rings and emails when she says she will and always gets back to us. The full job took a week to carry out and that included 2 full days of our lovely Manchester torrential rain. We cannot speak highly enough of the lads who carried out the work - they got stuck in straight away and all I can say is they put in a lot of hard graft!! They are great guys and if there was anything we needed to ask they were more than happy to answer our questions. We are very pleased with the company and the work they carried out. Due to levelling the drive the garden border is higher and we may struggle to get the lawnmower onto the grass. Due to this unavoidable issue Patrick & Toni were more than happy to arrange for a step to be fitted so we now have garden access. We highly recommend using Worsley Driveways & Patios - top quality from start to finish! You only pay when all work has been completed and you are satisfied. We will definitely be using them again in the coming months as we need the back garden finishing now - we have a lovely patio but the top area needs a bit of TLC. The other thing I would like to say is being a very independant female I am more than happy to try my hand at DIY etc but sometimes it can still be intimidating when having to go to places that involve tasks that are not in our day to day working knowledge i.e car garages & building work (personally I have a creative background so building work can be alien to me the same as IT could be to someone doing manual type jobs) . I can hand on heart say the whole process has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience from the point of booking to completion, seeing the finished job and interacting with the team has been absolutely brilliant. I will always do my research especially when this is an investment on our property but sometimes you still find that a very small percentage of males - NOT ALL will talk down to you like you don't understand what they are explaining! (We had this recently with a well know breakdown recovery company) but with Worsley Driveways & Patios there were no issues we felt comfortable and at ease with every staff member, they are a credit to the company. If there are any women out there who feel they want jobs carried out then all I can say is "Pick up the phone and arrange a quote." We would give a 10 star rating if we could. I will try and add patio images when the weather is better and I can take dry/wet photos, the patio image attached was taken half way through completion.

They created a fabulous Grey block and Sienna sett driveway and dropped kerb to the front of our house, it’s transformed our forecourt garden and added value to our house too. I went through all aspects of what we wanted, type of stone flags which was Indian, the boarder bricks which Pat suggested the grey which complimented the Indian stone also the grouting colour which also complimented the stone they also finished it off around my shed which looks great. The front steps which we had replaced look really good and set the front off for the walk round to the rear patio. The weather was against us but this was handled with professionalism, with all jobs there was a few things needed attention but this was no problem to Pat or his team who were really accommodating, and I’d just like to give my thanks to Lee and Dale who did the steps and also handled the items that needed attention nothing was to much for these 2 to do. This company seem very competent they started on a Saturday and was finished by Wednesday we had a concrete drive before but it was slippery when it was wet so we got a quote from Pat and was happy with it and went with it we saw some of the other jobs the company had done in the area and it looked good the service we got was great all the guys that worked were very polite and took care we did have a small issue where when they finished we had a small dip when it settled but I had no problem with them they came back and sorted it out we would recommend this company very happy with the drive great job

We decided to replace our old drive, down for nearly 30 years, with a new one that would also add space at the front to park the cars and provide an area to turn the cars around. We live on a busy major road and reversing onto the drive from the road was becoming a dangerous nightmare. The front garden was very overgrown and, with road noise, not a pleasant place to be. The bushes at the front had also caused the original 1930s garden wall to become unstable. So action was needed. We tried several installation firms and Worsley Driveways and Patios were the only ones to get back to us with a written quotation, which was approximately midway between the cheapest and most expensive. Pat Daly visited us in April 2021 with an agreed start date of early September which suited us both. We were most impressed by online reviews and photos of work done on houses nearby, so choosing the style of brickwork, borderwork, etc. was made easier by actually being able to see completed work online or live on site. The start day was delayed by other jobs elsewhere over-running but once the team began to excavate the site we saw what a professional organisation this is. There was a vast amount of shrubs, old paving stone and brickwork that had to be removed from the site and WD&P have a fleet of HGVs and smaller trucks to quickly remove all waste material and avoid the need for expensive skips. Not every company offers this. The bricklayer (Reg) and partner, who re-built the old garden wall copying the complicated style of the brickwork exactly to match what was there before, using some of the original bricks to keep its character, deserve special praise. Reg re-built the gate pillar and added another one on the property boundary. WD&P sourced an almost identical capping for this new pillar from a reclamation yard, one of several examples of going above and beyond with their brief. Special thanks also to Lee and Taylor who clearly take special pride in their work, offering ideas or suggesting alternatives and making sure that we were kept in the loop all the time. Paths and driveways are clearly their main business and these lads know exactly what they are doing. All this added to the confidence we had in the standard of the final result. Had our driveway replaced recently and I am really pleased with the end result. The lads that did the job were pleasant, friendly and hardworking. At the end of the job which took a little longer than planned due to adverse weather a couple of issues were quickly resolved. Good communication from Patrick. My only negative would be that on the first day the drive was dug up and it had rained heavily but I could not get back into the house because of the mud, no provision was left for us to get over the site. Had my partner not have been in and able to build me a bridge to walk along I would have been in a bit of a pickle. recently had a new driveway, brick wall, re-turfing and kerb dropped with pavement resurfacing, absolutely transformed the place dont recognise my own house, looks amazing made the process very easy assisting with the council to drop the kerb as are qualified to do so, the brickie was a great guy, lovely team of lads would definitely recommend thanks to patrick for all your help!
