My wife and I instructed Frank to correct the work of a previous contractor who had not completed the job to our expectations. Frank was immediately personable and understanding of what our requirements were, he gave us the confidence we had lost that the job could be completed as we wanted. We appreciated Frank's confidence and wealth of knowledge. His communication with us throughout the job was brilliant, responding to messages quickly and keeping us updated with his progress. Frank and the team are extremely efficient and professional when it comes to landscaping. Frank was honest from the start, explaining each step and the timescales involved. He was always more than willing to accommodate and compromise for any changes to the original plan (which some trade folk can be a little 'iffy' about!). Testimonial for O’Connor Landscapes Winter rains, a high water table and building works had made our back garden a quagmire. Urgent action was required. We contacted O‘Connor Landscapes. Within a week of starting having removed 50 tons of poor top soil, installed proper drainage and laid slabs and grass to our specification the transformation was complete thanks to Frank’s skilled, hardworking and courteous team. Without a word of exaggeration, the best landscaping company we have worked with. Right from discussing, understanding our design, honest and clever suggestions, to use of quality materials, a hard working team and delivery of the entire project ahead of time, just within 6 days for a reasonable sized garden, was unbelievable. From our discussion with Frank 2 weeks ago, to now having a beautifully renewed lively garden, Frank and his team have done an exemplary job. We have got an even better outcome than we hoped for. The first time I spoke to Frank over the phone he was very straightforward & honest with me which I liked straight away. He came over to give a quotation for the work and took a lot of time to talk through the pros & cons of different options & what would be the best choice for what we wanted done. My mum, in her 80’s, was very reluctant to have a lot commotion, noise/drilling or have her privacy disrupted for too long. Frank made a lot of effort to explain how he & his team would work within her parameters - minimize the time it would take to complete the job by having more workers on site, and restrict the noise relating to the removal of the concrete to only one hour during the entire project. All credit to him he managed to give my mum the level of comfort she needed, and also stuck by his word keeping the noise to an absolute minimum & with 7 workers on site completing the job bang on a day & a half as agreed. All of Frank’s team were incredibly courteous, kind & considerate and made my mum very comfortable with the work they were doing. Additionally the team kindly helped my mum with several other small tasks she requested at no extra cost which was incredibly kind of them. I was abroad at this time, and Frank sent me regular video updates & voice messages to ensure I could see how everything was progressing. They did a fantastic job & I honestly couldn’t have expected better service. They are a great team & I wholeheartedly recommend them for any patio & landscaping job ☺️

What great team!! Frank provided a first-class, professional landscaping service, from his initial inspection of our front garden and rear patio, through to concept, design and planning advice. He provided a comprehensive quotation for the job very promptly, with no hidden extras! He was the only contractor to reply to me immediately to arrange a site survey. Overall, this very challenging project was completed in four days by his extremely efficient and hard-working team. Frank was always very helpful, providing additional constructive advice throughout the process – He went out of his way to ensure that we were happy with all the work, at all stages of the project. He was always on-hand to manage, supervise and oversee operations to ensure that the work was carried out to a high standard – additionally, he always fully explained each stage of the project to us, before proceeding with any work. All the rubble and rubbish were cleared away from the site promptly during the build and Frank ensured that the site was left clean and tidy after completion of the work. I would unreservedly recommend Frank and his team to anyone!

We carried out an extensive re-design of our garden. Frank was brilliant from day one, giving advice and options on the design and materials to ensure we had the best impact and value for our money, always giving us time to make the final informed decision. His team are extremely hard working, turning up early and working until after 5pm, we found the daily change in our garden unbelievable! I can not praise Frank and his team enough. Frank is a pleasure to deal with and nothing is to much trouble for him, he has a real passion for what he does and understands what the client requires. He is happy to help with ideas or if compromises need to be made but not to pushy, which is why we liked him so much. I cannot recommend Frank and his team highly enough. They have worked tirelessly through the intense summer heat this week removing old concrete slabs, bricks and rubble from our patio and pathways replacing them with Autumn Gold Beta bricks which have been laid in a very impressive, creative professional way, curving around flower borders, trees and rockeries. The effect is absolutely stunning. All this work was completed in just three days as Frank quoted! Amazing. Throughout they have all been hard working, cheerful, friendly, polite and have cleared away all the rubble thoroughly. Thank you again Frank and team. An absolutely brilliant job!

We wanted to say a huge thank you to Frank O'Connor and the friendly professional team who started on Wednesday and finished transforming our garden last Friday 13th Sept as expected. Having found good reviews on the 'mybuilder' website you still wonder and worry who will turn up and then what will be the end result. Frank has many years of experience, master craftsman certification and offers a 10 year guarantee on works done so sounded very promising. Frank is a great sincere character but you cant fail to hear and trust his advise (for us novices) and passion for the job. He turned up the next day to quote and gave an instant idea on pricing for the job. During the build every element was thought through and if anything had more that one option Frank was quick to talk us through it and without pressure to help us find a solution. The attention to detail, pride in the finish and that we were 100% happy is a true sign that we made the right decision hiring Frank and his team. Frank and his team transformed my very wet muddy new build plot into an amazing landscaped garden. Frank and I worked together on the design making alterations as the garden progressed. The result is stunning brick edged circles containing lawn and gravel areas linked with block paved paths and patios. Leading to a 6m hand made pergola constructed by Steve. First class company - Prompt and reliable workforce incorporating professional expertise. My garden was a bit of a mess, with uneven levels of ground. Mr O'Connor came to inspect and gave his views on how to overcome the problem areas. Frank and his team have just completed a resin bonded driving for us. From the first conversation Frank was open and honest about that was involved – explaining what needed to happened - step by step, pricing and schedule, which put my mind at ease. I found him very approachable and he answered my many questions. During the job he sent my videos/photos of each stage - from digging out the driveway all the way through to laying the resin, and called me each day to update me. The guys cleaned up after themselves and no left no mess at the end of each day. They worked very hard to complete the job in 3 days. Their level of workmanship was excellent, and we are very happy with our new driveway. I would not hesitate to recommend frank and his team to anyone needing a new driveway.

I'm not sure I'm going to find the words to truly convey what a magnificent job Frank & his crew have done for us, but I'll try my hardest. From the very first phone call I felt that this company understood how important creating a family friendly space for us was, when John came out to quote the job he listened attentively to our ideas, added a few of his own and was able to create a picture in my mind of what they could do. From the outset I have found this company to professional, personable, reliable and utterly marvellous. Every phone call, email, text and visit was curated around our needs and vision. The team of men working for Frank and John are a brilliant bunch of individuals who work seamlessly as a team, they pull together in a way that clearly demonstrates camaraderie and a deep respect for each other and their job. They take pride in everything they do, are professional, respectful and masters of their craft. I was kept informed every step of the way, our needs as a family seemed of the utmost important to the entire team. I was delighted they could repurpose our railway sleepers by building us a wood store and wildflower bed (on site) using the sleepers. The astro turf is a work of art, the edging is impeccable and I've been clearly informed of how to care for it over the coming days. Hi Frank I finally found out how to do this review better late than never. I would certainly recommend frank O’Connor and his team to do any garden work. I had him and his team to do a fantastic job on new guttering and and soffits, they were very tidy whilst doing the work and cleared any rubbish away afterwards. As they did such a grand job, I had them back again to returf my front garden, by taking out an old hedge which was dying and now I have a lovely lawn. I also had a lovely decking done round the back, I wish I had taken before and after photos to post, as it turned out to be a masterpiece. So well done Frank and your team for your professional work, I certainly would recommend you time and time again.

Frank originally did my whole driveway & back garden in July last year, so after being happy with everything he & his team originally did I had no hesitation hiring him again to fix the bad workmanship of a water company's shoddy contractors who had failed 4 times to reinstate the drive area they dug up to fix a leak. Frank & team turned up & pulled up a big section of drive larger than needed to ensure it was done properly, put membrane down, sand & relaid block paving etc, Frank even highlighted how the water company had made the driveway edges not straight now by trying to follow the pavement line which made the blocks all have gaps in them in the middle of the drive where they tried to spread them out. Frank made sure the driveway & subfloor were all level & true with new blocks to replace badly cut ones from water co at the edges, then at the edges any little gaps filled to meet the pavement, rather than trying to spread square blocks around curves or using slithers or block that would look messy. Once again delighted with work performed by Frank & his team, to add to my previous feedback on mybuilder from having used Frank twice now, I would urge anyone to try Frank to see how nice it is to speak to a down to earth guy who will ensure work is completed to exceed your expectations and put you at ease.
