Long story short, while replacing my entire roof the boys accidentally went through my bedroom and passage ceiling and didn’t realise. Soon as I Informed James he sent the boys in the house to clean up the mess. As I couldn’t stay behind and had to travel back to London he told me to leave the keys behind, so I did. Three days later when I went back to the property the roof was completed and the bedroom and passage ceiling was plastered and fixed. Even compensated me for a carpet cleaner. Thank you so much.

John Thomas was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Defining and scoping the job was really easy as he has a real breadth of experience and he has a good eye for the details. The quote was sensible and delivered promptly. John's team arrived as promised and worked efficiently from 7am, completing the job ahead of schedule and dealing with unforeseen extras inclusive of my original quote (e.g. installing a step up to the front door). The team were polite, hard-working, tidy, good-natured and extremely trustworthy. I am more than happy with the end product - my driveway is exactly as I requested, solidly built and attention to detail has been paid to the job throughout. A good quality driveway (~35 sq m) completed to a high finished standard in less than 2 days and all site rubbish removed. I have absolutely no qualms about rehiring Principle Home Developments in the future and I will be recommending them to my friends and colleagues.

James responded to our request for a quote within an hour - on a Sunday! It’s fair to say that this was a challenging job. We have a very old cottage with no straight walls, and wanted to expand the living space on the top floor by removing the chimney and replacing the roof. We also had the guttering replaced and drainage installed. James’ team were great; they are really nice guys, who cared about the outcome. They left the house clear and tidy and even fixed the paving that had become dislodged during the drainage works. We are very pleased with the end result.

Thank you so much to James and his team, especially John and Julius who did an outstanding job re-roofing our roof. Given that it was an old roof with a bow in it, the quality of the tiling was excellent. We are very pleased with the finish and the lead work was outstanding, John is a real craftsperson. They replaced an old cast iron downpipe that was leaking and installed a stepped leaded valley to insure the roof would not leak anymore. They were very tidy too, cleaning up every evening before they went home. The whole job took a lot less time than we thought too. Thank you James and team for all your work. From my initial contact I was impressed by the professional approach of this company. John arrived at the date and time we agreed and gave great suggestions to improve want I wanted doing. He gave an on the spot quote and after 3 other quotations I offered him the job. His fitters arrived on site and proceeded with the renovation in a seamless and professional manner. Needed my garage reroofed. James, from Principle Home Dev came to tge site before providing quote and his spec and quote came out ahead for value over the firms who just took pictorial evidence without a site visit.
