We had a full renovation done of our bungalow by Taylor Nicol this year. They had been recommended to us by a friend who had had some work done by them. From start to finish the service we've received from the team has been superb. It was Tom who put us in touch with our brilliant architect initially. Everything from any queries we had regarding the build, slight tweaks we wanted to make, anything we weren't sure about...to sourcing fantastic contractors (electricians, plasterers, plumbers, decorator) and providing all accounts and figures to keep us on track. Nothing was too much for these guys (and if it was they didn't let on haha). Unfortunately covid did delay matters and as frustrating as that was for us...as soon as work could recommence, Jason and Wilson were here getting on. We couldn't be happier with our home sweet home. We've had a vision for this place in our head for 6 years now and thanks to Taylor Nicol's hard work this came true. Special mention to Jason and Wilson for just how hard those 2 lads worked...they'll get the job done for you and to the highest quality (just make sure you provide brew making ingredients and biscuits). Taylor Nicol Brickwork and Joinery have recently completed a large wrap around extension to our bungalow in Lostock Hall. The project was planned and completed with the involvement of South Ribble Council as it was partially funded by a disabled facilities grant. Our works included level access ramps to the front and rear, widening and relocating doorways, a large extension, and the creation of a wet room. We selected Taylor Nicol from six contractors which we approached at the quotation stage because their price was in-line with the other figures we were getting back, and more importantly for us; he returned a much more comprehensive quote which seemed thoroughly thought out. Jason shared our enthusiasm for the project, and we felt like we were in safe hands. Jason and his team started on time and never gave us a reason to doubt our decision to move forward with them. The work continued at pace and the site was always left in a tidy condition. They did everything possible to minimize our disruption and were always respectful and courteous to our neighbours. All jobs such as this have their unforeseen difficulties (ours included a global pandemic), but throughout the process Jason was always willing to take ownership of a problem and find a good solution. Even when we moved the goalposts once or twice by making changes to the agreed plan – it was all taken in their stride. Jason has an eye for detail and wouldn’t think twice about going above and beyond the agreed specification in order to provide a quality piece of work. With our project now complete, we can genuinely say that we made the right decision and we couldn’t be happier with the finish of our home. I would not hesitate to recommend Taylor Nicol and I very much doubt I will be using anybody else for any future works within their wide-ranging skillset. Thanks again to Jason and your team. Absolutely brilliant job done by Jason and his team, they were extremely professional, punctual, pleasant and even entertaining sometimes! They knocked down a wall, moved a radiator rewired for LED’s and my cooker hood, even building a feature to house the cooker hood, we just love it. We would wholeheartedly recommend them and we will definitely have them back for our other projects. Thanks guys great job.

Your always sceptical when letting tradesmen into your home . Will they do a good job ? Are they cowboys ? . This is the first time we’ve had any building work / new kitchen / utility and bathroom fitted and was unsure who to get to complete the works . This is the first time we met Jason and Wilson and a I can’t recommend them highly enough , very professional, punctual, polite and tidy . There attention to detail second to non , and it’s nice to see someone who takes so much pride in there work.
