Having had Aspen do a fantastic job on our driveway, we had them back to sort out our embarrassing back garden that was desperate for some TLC. I love the design Dave came up with as we explained that we needed it dog friendly due to a dog who loves to dig and wreck things. The lads who came were so polite and hard working and we are made up with the end result. Thanks again Aspen 😁

We had difficult access job with the only access through the house, and we were apprehensive about finding the right contractor. Dave and his team took it on, his lads were great, very professional taking care coming through the house and explaining what they were doing everyday. Excellent quality work and we felt that the price matched finished product. Very happy and would highly recommend.

We had Aspen for almost three weeks sorting our garden paths and small patio plus a really difficult double access ramp and steps to the lower garden. The guys did a great job, far better than I had envisaged. The lads were hard workers, friendly and helpful. Dave was a good project manager, popping in regularly to make sure everything was on track. Hosing down after each day was appreciated. We will definitely be asking them next year for a drive widening job.

Thanks to Dave and his team for a very professional and high quality service which has changed the look of my house. Despite a busy schedule Dave managed to get the work started promptly and completed on time. The premises were cleaned every day after work and the whole job was completed smoothly. My mum and dad had this company to do work on their garden and drive. Dave was very professional at all times. If something extra needed to be done he would explain why. A complete garden landscape transformation in our back garden and front of house by Aspen Drives. Turf removal, timber sleepers installed around lawn to create a low level planting bed. 3 high timber sleeper planter beds built and the creation of a children’s play area with bark,traditional styled timber sleeper feature entrances to play area. Extended path laid side of house, turf removal and stone bed to replace turf for low maintenance. What we envisioned our garden to look like has been created to an excellent standard by the team. It’s obvious Dave takes a lot of pride in the quality of work and overall finish to a job, lots of checking and double checking. Great to see. Thank you to all the team, we look forward to better weather so we can enjoy our new garden. Dan and Pip

Aspen recently fitted my patio with black Indian stone. The fitters were good , polite and cleaned up behind themselves. I cannot fault the work carried out.

*UPDATE* I was contacted by Aspen and offered some money back for being unhappy with the aftercare, and so I felt it only right to amend my review to reflect this. We can’t fault the lovely patio that Aspen installed for us, nor the staff who laid it for us. They were professional, clean and great at their jobs. Unfortunately we cannot recommend Aspen due to their actions after the patio was fitted, which not surprisingly occurred once we had paid the bill. We paid for the materials directly from the supplier, and a 3/4 box of Indian stone (we paid £348 per box) was left over and unused yet the boss said they were his to keep and use on their next job and that this is ‘general practice’. We also paid for top soil and new turf to level our garden, but unfortunately old soil was supplied (full of rocks and even glass!) so we can only speculate it was our old soil that was removed to install the patio or perhaps another of Aspens customers. Not only that, but they never came back to finish the job. I asked when it would be completed and they said they had ordered more turf and would be back in 2 days to lay it. I contacted the boss again (3 weeks later) to share my disappointment about the misrepresented soil and the missing turf but have had no response. My partner then rang four days later and was told we were only quoted for 20sqm and if we want more we can pay for more, however after measuring only 15sqm has been put down. We asked for the area to be done, so we expected them to measure and quote correctly! We have been left with an unsightly patch of soil/rubble (7sqm) in the middle of our garden. We were quoted for 20sqm, received 15sqm, but needed 22sqm. I’m unsure as to why he told me that they had ordered some but then told my partner that they weren’t coming to finish the job? If Aspen had have refunded us some money for the poor soil and missing turf like asked then this review would have been very different. We are very disappointed and feel let down. Our neighbours opposite did say they wanted a patio too from Aspen after admiring ours, but unfortunately I have had to tell them our honest experience as it wouldn’t be fair on them otherwise.
