We are very pleased with the roof cleaning that Revive has just completed. They worked extremely hard, removed all the moss and other growths on our roof, treated the roof, and even did some guttering repair. We have solar panels so were a little concerned about how effective roof cleaning might be, but the result is excellent.

I invited Revive Outdoor Cleaning out to quote on a render clean along with 4 other people, they were not the cheapest, but they were the ones that installed that confidence in not having to pay twice. Alex was extremely friendly and helpful, always had time to have a chat. End results were amazing 7 as Alex has said this could be an ongoing clean due to my surroundings.

The only company that actual knew what they were talking about, I’m a builder by trade so know a bit, however, due to age I don’t do heights. Alex was very genuine and said the ridge tiles were all fine and in place and just needed pointing up, you know I loved their honesty. 2 other firms quoted me on a dry verge system costing over £2,000. "The scraping and soft washing system that Alex uses is definitely the way to go if you want your roof cleaning properly. My roof looks great, it doesn't have that sand blasted look that you see after someone jet washes the life out of the tiles, it just looks clean and is now moss free. He fixed the odd tile and tidied up too, an excellent service that I would certainly recommend."

Roof had accumulated 30 years worth of moss and lichen, all expertly cleaned off by Revive. Moss removed by scraping and roof treated with biocide. Gutters were cleaned out and the whole area around the house left clean and tidy. Job took only one day, expertly carried out. Will use again in 3 years to re-apply biocide. Highly recommended.

The roof of our semi-detached house had accumulated masses of moss over many years. Not only was it extremely unsightly, we realised that the moisture/damp held within the moss was doing absolutely no good to the long-term health of our roof. (This might have meant a new roof would be needed at some point in the future at relatively high expense). Prevention is always better than cure, so we started to look around for a company that would be able to remove the moss. Virtually all the companies we came across used pressure washing. This can damage the roof fabric and the roof tile fixings, as well as shooting moss and debris on to adjacent houses and gardens (which isn’t likely to make your neighbours very happy!). So we decided to look for a more gentle method of removal which would be good for ourselves (and also good for our neighbours). Fortunately, we came across Revive Outdoor Cleaning. We contacted Alex and he came along to take a look. Alex very clearly explained all the possible options and gave us a quote for the work. Rather than using pressure washing, he removes all the moss by manual scraping and then applies a biocide solution which prevents the moss returning. He was friendly, professional and not at all “pushy”. The work has now been completed to a very high standard and absolutely no mess was created. We are absolutely delighted with the results and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Alex and Revive. Thank you Alex!

Absolutely amazing service and such friendly lovely and accommodating and professional people. We had the drive, patio and all stonework cleaned plus windows, frames, uPVC and pipes and even the stone shed and path at the bottom of the garden. 6 stars without a doubt. My partner has had to stay at her mum's over the last weeks due to a major accident and she came home today and was astounded at the difference particularly the previously dull flags on the back patio which were restored to their former glory. "Just had our tiled roof cleaned and bio-treated to remove 21 years of moss and other dirt and grime. Superb results! Alex & Rachael turned up on time and were thoroughly professional. We couldn’t believe the amount of moss and rubbish that came off our roof! It was really dirty work and our windows and pathways were covered with mess during the work. However, the guys cleaned up meticulously afterwards, hosing down and taking all the roof rubbish away with them. Our windows and doors were all washed down and cleaned. The end result is a roof that looks like new and everywhere left looking clean and tidy. We were initially hesitant about having our roof cleaned as we thought it would mean workmen actually needing to climb onto the roof itself. This was not the case: the guys used a scaffold tower and long extension poles to power hose the roof before applying a treatment which continues to attack and remove any residual moss. So we needn’t have worried about roof damage. Alex & Rachael were really nice and friendly. They clearly take great pride in their work and want their customers to be thoroughly satisfied. We certainly are, and would highly recommend Revive Outdoor Cleaning. A big “thank you” to Alex & Rachael."

Trying to sum up someone's work in a single word can be hard. But not so in Alex’s case. There's only one word that fits. It's 'outstanding'! A patio that had seen better days and a neglected garden path presented a sorry sight.
