Chris was simply amazing from start to finish!! A true professional, he knows his product (wood) really well, he was informative, he was eco friendly, he was thoughtful, he was a true craftsman and he would tidy up after himself at the end of each day! His communication re quotes and invoicing was efficient and timely, receipts were provided . We totally love our decking and absolutely made the right decision to go Wood over composite. Well worth the outlay! We definitely recommend Chris to transform your out door space. Our garden is a new adventure now! We even made planters out of the cut off wood and the old decking wood was given to neighbours, no waste.

From the start of the project to the completion of work, Chris was extremely professional in everything he did. Quote was provided quickly with sufficient detail to allow an understanding of the delivery. Discussion and slight amendment to original plan enable an even better solution that envisaged, tapping into his experience. All timings were adhered to with issue, updates provided whenever needed. Receipts for payments and invoice production were quick, reaffirming the professional approach to the project. Overall, I am impressed with the service and end product and would recommend to others. After a long and frustrating search for a contractor even willing to take on an awkward job of replacing two pedestrian bridges at the bottom of a long flight of steps in an urban nature reserve, or to do it for a cost which didn't make me weak at the knees, I decided to look for a smaller local company to help. Stumbling across Decking & Pergolas LTD was a pure stroke of luck. Chris was a true gentleman through the entire project, he was wonderfully enthusiastic, patient and full of helpful advice. He pushed on through every kind of weather imaginable to get the path open again on time, the attention to detail is exceptional and he always manages to add a bit of flair to even the most mundane structures. The end result was far beyond what I had hoped it to be and I'm very proud of my new bridges. Now its all finished, the only downside is that Chris is no longer around to chat with. So overall a lovely chap to work with, good company, highly skilled and always goes the extra mile to get the result you want. I cant recommend him enough and I'm already thinking of new jobs so I can get him back. Thanks Chris

When we first wanted a deck and a pergola installed we went to four companies for quotes. Although Chris from Decking and Pergolas impressed us the most, one other company was a bit cheaper and so we went with them. What a mistake!! It was never right, puddles in the deck, the pergola wasn't straight, real shoddy workmanship and of course when we contact him again we are simply ignored....... Eventually in desperation we contacted Chris. What a breath of fresh air, without a big fuss he took down the shoddy work and rebuilt it in exactly the way it should have been done in the first place. He did a fantastic job Thanks Chris !! Since then he has carried out work for two of our friends and without fail they have been delighted with the quality of his work.
