As soon as I walked in the shop immediately I was asked if I needed any help . Which I did in printing pictures, the gentleman that helped me showed me the best way to print pictures from my phone. Everyone looked eager to help and the lady at the cashier was friendly and provided me with great customer service
Overall I was extremely happy 😊 and they deserve a 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
V. A.Not that well. Wanted to try FF X-S10, but they had no lenses. I suggested to use a lens from XT3, but they couldn't do that. Also Jessops had low volume of cameras in stock. Thanks to Brexit.

C. “. N. V. H.I was after a Sony A7c with kit lens, and couldn't get one through my local camera shop. They said they had no idea when they'd be in stock. I then decided to look online, and found that Jessops could supply the deal I wanted. Great!
I chose to collect from store, so I could check it out, and make sure everything was OK. (didn't want to wait in for a delivery to the house)
Got a phone call to say it was ready to collect, exactly as expected.
The most local Jessops to me was 70 miles away in Oxford Street, London: any excuse to have a day out in London!
The staff were welcoming, and efficient. They gave me my new camera, and let me use a table-top to get it all out and make sure it was all OK.
I was stood at this table a while, when a nice chap, un-prompted, brought me over a stool. (he could see I was going to be a while!)
I asked later on, if there was anywhere I could plug in and charge the (very low) battery, so I'd be able to test the camera. I was told there was nowhere, so that was disappointing, considering I had just spent nearly £2k!
I wanted to arrange insurance for my camera equipment, so whilst still in the shop, was on the phone trying to arrange this with a 3rd party (not Jessops related). Jessops were very helpful in checking prices for the individual items that I had purchased from them as a kit, so I could then relay this to the insurance broker on the phone.
Finally, though, prior to leaving the store, I wanted to purchase an SD card for the camera. Unfortunately, they didn't have any of the appropriate type! Bit disappointed!
They did, however, point me in the direction of Park Cameras, just up the road, who were able to help with this.
All in all, a good experience, with a couple of minor disappointments.
I think4/5 is fair.
By the way - the Sony A7c is an awesome little camera!

My advice is, check and do your research on line before walking in, have your phone ready with prices and your selection, test in store, then you'll be surely be leaving satisfied with a new camera or an accessory. Managers /supervisors are knowledgeable of the products, rest of staff need a bit more training.

Staff are knowledgeable but worth doing your research before you go as they have a very big range and if you don't know where you are heading easy to get lost.
In store prices reasonable and same as their website. They do a price match promise but it is limited to single items not bundles offered elsewhere. However there seems to be a lot of in store discretion on matches as this store wouldn't match Park Cameras nearby but the other Jessops in New Oxford St would. So do shop around.

He was very nice and knowledgeable, but in the end realised I am not going to buy a Fuji camera and passed me to the Sony guy Eugene as I told him I would try to see a9 for mirrorless. I am impressed with the service provided again by the other representative, because he also helped me try different lenses with the a9 and also with the Nikon d850 (the actual reason I walked into the store). Since purchasing the a9 does not seem such a good deal to me regarding my allocated budget, as lenses are 2000+ each... I am considering the d850 which unfortunately is not in stock. Impressed with the customer service, when I will return to the store I will look for Eugene to get that camera and lenses ;)

The staff have always been really friendly and helpful and gone out of their way to show me other options that I hadn't thought about, spending a lot of time with me even though it was clear I was just browsing. Ok sometimes you just want to be left alone and I think they are quite good at that too. The result is I have usually ended up buying from them, although I think their prices are sometimes too high at times but if you now what deals are around it can be in line with the current market.
L. N.I get my film photos developed here and the service is always great. Even when a mistake was made and not all my pictures were printed properly, they took the negatives the next day and printed out the missing photos without any issues.
M. O.The place is generally good, however looks like a guy on a printing section is new and definitely need more training in regard of film scanning.
Prices are similar as everywhere for development and digital scan in high resolution I've paid 12 pounds.

On top of that helped to recommend a good accessories bundle and even applied a discount to it to boot. As well as the usual Canon and Nikon fare they also have a full range of Sony and Fuji mirrorless. They have a small stock of Pentax including a few used lenses.

A. J. G.Purchased a drone (refurbed) and it ended up having many serious issues, it got stuck in the sky at one point and wouldn't return. Camera smashed. They did refund me immediataely. Picked up a lens from here, too, which came in a tampered and damaged box. Was offered a discount (about 3%) but when I took it home realised it was missing the carry case.
It's a good store for browsing around in but I really can't recommend it because of the above. Pricing despite "deals" is not brilliant. Honestly just try out the stuff in store and buy on Amazon.

I mistakenly lost my ticket and I received indifferent and cold, almost sarcastic service from the guy working in the lab - saying that I could be refunded if my photos aren’t found (which obviously I don’t want?) and that there’s not much that can be done if I’ve lost my ticket.... I left the situation in his hands and did not receive a follow up call for the rest of the day. I then called To follow up and Coslee answered the phone. He completely changed my opinion on Jessops service - he went above and beyond to sort the situation and knew straight away how important photos are to someone, putting me at ease with his natural people skills. He promised a call back within an hour with an update and delivered on his promise. He had solved the issue and found my photos! Amazing customer service in such big corporations is hard to come by these days and I am so impressed and relieved after having dealt with Coslee ! An asset to Jessops. My faith is restored.

g.A shame many Jessop branches have ceased to exist, and this seems to be one of the few in central London, if I'm right about this. Small shop, fairly cluttered, knowledgeable staff, usuful print-your-own photo machines: take your precious holiday pictures and print out from camera/USB/Flash cards, do some editing too..return after a few minutes and admire your handywork. Cheap too! They are competitively priced on their main photo products, but not cheap (the usual MRP, like every other seller). I bought my camera from an online company nearly £200 cheaper!! Oh well, rents in central London..to give them credit..
N. R.I started using Jessops many years ago when I wanted to add a selection of lenses to my SLR camera...this was about 20 years ago. I was just starting in photography and went in to their Bury St Edmunds branch. The sales assistant took a good hour out of his day to talk with me about the how's and what for's of the camera and lenses I was putting together.
Since then I've upgraded to a DSLR which last year died. I went in to Jessops Oxford Street and similarly took a good chunk of the sales assistants time as he willingly and knowingly explained about all the cameras most suited to me, and their lenses. He highlighted that as I had a Nikon before and therefore the lenses to go with it, that a Nikon was my way forward. He knew I wasn't going to purchase at that time, but that this would all be a recommendation for family who would gift me the camera, but that didn't stop him giving my his full time and attention. He also identified that there was Jessops Academy which may indeed help my aspirations to go professional.
Now almost a year later, and having been gifted my wonderful Nikon camera and subsequently the Academy courses, I have now launched my own company selling my images. None of this would have been possible without the patience and time of many of the Jessops staff both in Bury St Edmunds and Oxford Street over the past 20 years, and especially in the past 10 months. Even on the Academy courses, shop was very ready to help students and provide spare brand new batteries and such if the students needed them.
Personally I shan't take my custom elsewhere. I know that my pictures will be developed in the quality they were taken, and whenever I have any photography related questions or need technical support with my camera, they will be addressed in a knowing and relevant manner.
I can't rate them highly enough.

E. S.Jessops used to have a relatively large store on Oxford Street. The current store is small but has a good team that offers reasonably good advice and customer service. With them price matching UK stockists, a good place to try before buying.
T. N.Loads of different model camera ranging from DSLR to point and shoot to try before you buy. There's even a drone flight simulation you can try to get used to flying drones.
