Loved the class, Eva was wonderful and all materials top notch. The only thing I would have liked to see a bit more of was instructions and techniques but I suppose maybe we didn't ask enough?
I had a great time and will be back for the landscape class!

I have joined several different classes at Lavender Print School and have enjoyed each one so much ... well organised, fun and inspiring. I have been amazed by what I have achieved. Can't wait for my next class.

A friend and I attended the Print and Prosecco evening, where we walked away with our own Lino prints we had made and a number of prints to use as cards. It was lots of fun, the teaching from Joella was excellent and it was a great way too unwind and learn a new skill in a couple of hours. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to learn how to be super creative in a couple of hours with great hands on tuition. Really well worth attending

The zoom painting experience with artist Vicki Sawyer has left me speachless! I had so much fun, learned even more!! My finished painting was not nearly as lovely as Vicki's, LOL, but I love my sweet bird! It was a real Tweet, all pun intended. I hope so much to do this again. Lavender Print School made it very easy to take the class and are so delightful to connect with, they led me thru the process and were always quite gracious. I Thank You!!

Loved the watercolour workshop with Eva - it was perfect - I am a beginner and the two hour lesson was relaxing and enjoyable and I learned some great techniques to start me off on watercolours. My 12-year old son participated too and enjoyed it also! great pandemic distraction!

I have really enjoyed all the workshops I’ve joined at the Lavender Print School. I have no artistic talent or experience but I really enjoy being guided through making something beautiful and satisfying (e.g. starting with tracing a picture) and learning a new skill. It’s also very therapeutic and relaxing to focus on nothing for a few hours other than simply making something. The studio is lovely and the artists are really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Excellent beginner's printmaking workshop at Lavender Print School. Cosy workshop (properly distanced), quality materials, clear guidance on techniques. Really good fun to go from scratch to a fully printed card in one session. Think it may have given me the printmaking bug!

I did the Wednesday Evening Art Course, a six week workshop in which you explore basic techniques of drawing and painting in pastel and acrylic. I loved it: learned to look at objects and landscapes in a totally different way. Joella is an attentive and motivating teacher, apart from being a talented artist herself. I totally recommend it. Also, it was super relaxing and lovely to meet people from different backgrounds with a shared interest in art.

The absolutely lovely, knowledgeable, patient and helpful staff were able to answer my lino based questions, and guide me through a three layer reduction lino print, in a lovely, well equipped studio.
I recommend Lavender Print School to anyone who is interested in printmaking! I will be going back soon to learn about dry point!

I did the Landscapes class, and I really enjoyed it, two of the classes were face to face and the rest were completed online due to lockdown restrictions. I would say I thoroughly enjoyed both formats; the online classes allowed us to view the instructor in real time as the screen was focused solely on her work, as we followed along, so I didn't feel like anything from a learning perspective was lost by going online. Like most lockdown restrictions you lose some of that face to face, but it was certainly a weekly highlight in lockdown and I expect it would be the same going into the studio should there have been no restrictions.

I have done a few evening art courses in London, this was by far the best. Why? Really engaged teacher, great equipment, fun atmosphere, relatively small class size, and nice art work to takeaway.

I had a wonderful time at the Lavender Print School at a Sunday afternoon Etching and Monoprint workshop with Joella. It was a great workshop - I learned a lot and had a great experience. Highly recommended!
