A true gem! I am super excited every time I visit. This little independent store has so much to offer. UK, France, Italy, USA, Turkey, Thailand, Russia - unique perfumes from all corners of the world. The staff is knowledgeable and can help you find a perfect one for yourself or as a gift. I stopped buying perfumes elsewhere. And Bloom stocks my fave - Imaginary Authors. Love love love it!

Absolutely fantastic little shop. Happened to stumble upon this cute shop by chance. But what a delight & experience. It’s welcoming and different. I was looking for a “special scent” away from the Big Brand that you can find everywhere! To my surprise this shop just had it all. Unusual scents from all over the world, independent brands with good quality ingredients & incredible package. I could of spend hours in the shop. I love the experience of attending this place and there's no uncomfortable pressure to buy once you've tested the perfumes. They offer tester sprays for everything anyway and you get the cost of it discounted if you decide to buy a full bottle. Really helpful staff and in a great location!

A huge collection of so many niche perfumes that you can’t really visit one time only. I wish they’d given us more room to explore the perfumes on our own. For covid restrictions they had to have a staff with each customer and that felt limiting

I was out doing a little recce after my friend told me about this place. These guys do great fragrance fitting sessions! They asked me if I fancy any particular style/ material, what I prefer – I wasn’t after anything specific but still spent a good hour exploring and left with some samples. I had a very fun time, highly recommend!

I tried a few, but wasn’t quite sure, until finally Bloom came up on Google maps… I have to say, everything they showed me was just a different caliber to other shops! What a lovely, bizarre adventure! They have perfumes with ambergris, goat hair, extracts of most rare ouds... really worth a visit for these wierd curious perfume houses from all over the world. Some shelves have stuff you can find in Harrods but there are nooks and crannies which have some of the most rare, bizarre and fantasy options. Keep curating, guys!

Always have such a lovely time at Bloom. The staff are always so helpful and knowledgeable. On the last trip to Bloom Natalia was an absolute godsend! My partner and I went to pick up an order and we were helped by Natalia. Natalia was wonderful! She made us feel so comfortable never once acting like we were bothering her by wanting to smell anything. She really made this particular trip an experience for my partner and I. She was even able to recognise and suggest fragrances that we may like (more often than not she was correct!) Very rarely do I want to spend anything over 10mins in a shop, but when there are staff that are as passionate as Natalia it was very easy to lose track of time.

Always wanted to pop into here when I’m in London but never had the chance finally decided to make the time and pop in I was lucky the store was empty when I went in I’m not good with picking fragrances most of the time. My usual method is spray and if I like it I’ll buy it. The fragrances are broken down into notes and you have separate sections for each note Woody, floral, bespoke etc.... The consultant I forgot to get her name was very helpful I was there for approx 40 mins and never felt rushed even though I wasn’t making it easy for her to help me find a fragrance! Eventually found one which I’m happy with and already getting compliments for it I even got 3 small samples to take home which I’m intrigued to try. All in all 10/10 Prepare to spend some time in here if your looking for a niche fragrance price point of most of the fragrances are very reasonable in my opinion too.

It’s an odyssey visiting this wonderful shop. The standing table service ,based on notes of interest or curiosity, serves up some unusual and incredibly lush delights. It’s a much more intimate and engaging experience now. I could stay all day. This is a niche perfumery done so well , and has matured and expanded since it’s first Shoreditch location. Now based in Covent Garden, it’s a zen concrete minimalist decor delivering maximalist scent. I’m really happy there is more inclination now to add more typically feminine notes, scents. Previously it leaned masculine and unisex bereft of many of the delicate fruits or plethora of florals , which was incredibly smart a few years ago .It nudged women to boundary push a bit more into stronger or unusual / more masculine scents from the away from the more generic female designer fragrances. This opened huge opportunity to try and experiment with notes via decants. It was life changing for me anyhow. I pushed way out of my super feminine comfort zone into some magnificent unisex rare scents a few years back, that I still adore. Recently I went on a Rose scent safari for a gift and I came away with 5 absolute stunners ! These were recommended to me via the newer counter service . It is so nice to have the full attention and creative genius of the curators and proprietor’s. It turns out my gift of 5 decants was a huge hit, and 4/5 were a 10/10 for her. The fifth, was a 9. Genius. We shall be back for full sizes! Thank you so much for your lovely patience and attention.

Very knowledgeable staff that will impress you with a unforgettable perfume experience. They take their time to discuss the fine art of fragrance unlike other places that are just eager to make a sell. But perhaps what really makes it distinguished is the ability to buy samples of any of their perfumes for 2£. They also have a perfume club which is an interesting way to experience perfumes without having to purchase a full bottle. However the place is a bit too dark and stuffy.

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff, an enormous selection of perfumes of absolutely any kind, if one asks for help then one is sure to walk out with ones perfect match. Also their mixing workshop is fantastic, a nice selection of materials is available and an advisor who gives you as much freedom as necessary to create the perfume you imagine.

AMAZING!!! Had the bespoke fragrance making session here yesterday for my birthday with 2 friends and all 3 of us were beyond impressed with how much value you get for your money. Roxy took us down an in depth fragrance history (she is clearly knows her stuff) and guided us through the process of making our fragrances (base notes, heart notes, top notes). I have definitely found my new secret fragrance shop!!!! And would definitely recommend this place to all fragrance lovers!!!

Lovely shop, with what some people call “a concept”. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful. The perfumes are arranged by notes, however be carfeful in the dare to wear section. Achtung!!!!! One of the perfumes there smells like damp basement. Even me, a fellow countryman of Fritzl, considered this smell a bit too potent. I’ve accidentaly left the sample in my bag and now everytime I open it the odour brings back unpleasant memories about home. All in all, I had an amazing olfactory experience, definitely better than what you get in Boots perfume section.

This is a gem of a place for perfume aficionados. Specialising in niche perfume houses, I spent over an hour here sniffing, and was encouraged to sniff. Find anything you like? You can purchase sample to test drive the scent. I love this place, it's a treasure.

Perfumes change how I represent myself to others. Growing up, I’ve looked around the perfumeries attempt to express oneself in numerous ways. I’m not a perfume collector, but more like a perfume lover. So far, I’ve used red roses (representation of 16-18 years old girl, mature & shy), and black cedar wood& juniper (imagine a college student who wants to feel like they are now an adult) from Jo Malone. Vaguely knowing the new image(s) that I want to create and express, went to this store unintentionally. Both Olga and Oxana co-worked to suggest the perfumes which would fit perfectly (or near perfection) on my rough idea of “20 years old in between 19 and 21, young or mature, do have subtleties which are hidden behind the look”. I got 13 different suggestions which i could see 13 slightly different images of 20 years old. Picked 3 of them as samples (£2 each), and tried all of them over 3 days. Later, I saw a deep brown vintage leather bag. It reminded myself a long cashmere camel coat (love to wear it with petite scarf around my neck) at home. So i went to this shop again to explore another “perfect” perfumes for myself. (How you feel or like a certain notes and your descriptions of smells would be very subjective.) I found two “coats” one with ‘closed long camel coat, no button seen in the front, the cashmere belt is loosely tied’ and the othe r one with ‘slightly opened camel coat, wearing short sleeves long fit burgundy dress inside’. Also found two ‘shoes’ to mix-match with my ‘coats’ perfumes. Both ‘shoes’ perfumes i chose are from same brand. (Wasn’t my intention lol). It felt like shoes with different colours, texture and style, but both from same makers. Selecting perfumes are done by a brief conversation of what you are looking for today, then you start exploring multiple different ones, comparing one to another, and narrow down the choices. I’d suggest narrow it down to ~3 samples per image you want(unless you want the layering). It’d be much helpful and time-efficient to ask helps to them if you are not certain, what exactly you want. Some of you may have a clear idea of what they would like to be. Mostly, You would start with very vague words like “I’m new to perfumes. Perhaps start with something clean?” Then you could come up with an idea like “ maybe add some spices at the back?” Then you might find “oh, maybe not spices, but the depth. To show the depth of my mindset.”. And the consulting never ends until you may “this one!” or as long as you want to or the store has to be closed soon. Also, try not to stay there too long, you wouldn’t smell anything on your way back if you’ve stayed more than an hour in there. And make sure to breath fresh air in between the perfumes as if you are drinking water in between tasting wines. Overall, I loved this store and the people working there are very attentive to your vague description. You can ask help first (if they are not talking with customers already), otherwise they might let you enjoy exploring perfumes by your own.
