One of the best customer service i’ve had in a while. The gentleman serving me was really nice and attentive. He had excellent manners and made me feel comfortable. His service didn’t feel forced. Loved the atmosphere in the shop too! It smelled great. The perfumes are on the pricey side but they smell great. I got these really cute small samples too!

Individual and exciting fragrance with great background story’s and reasons for there smells, helpful staff, there fragrances last well on me and my wife and she has used Channel 5 perfume which you can’t smell after an hour. My favourite is Halfeti it’s a great Musk smell, and second bests my summer fragrance I’ve run out off and can’t think of the name... but if you ever used Dunhill aftershave, the very first in the cylinder type bottle....it reminds me of that. The wife favourite after Light Blue by D/G is Blasted Heath, this has a great smell. They are expensive but well worth it for a special day, my first one was a joint gift and I’ve been hooked ever since. Forgot to add they do shower gels too they smell great, it stays on you, foam well and a good place to start checking there smells....

Excellent customer service, first of all from the online Customer Service representative, Ellie, who responded to my query re a fragrance I couldn't find online. The fragrance has been discontinued but Ellie checked with stores and found some bottles were still available. I then contacted Covent Garden Piazza branch and was assisted by Ertan who confirmed they had the fragrance, took payment and then quickly had the package ready for collection. Ertan was friendly, professional and really was lovely to speak to. Ellie and Ertan made me feel that I was a valued customer. Thank you.

I visited this shop randomly whilst strolling around Covent Garden. You can smell the scents wafting outside the shop before you even walk inside. I went whilst wearing masks was mandatory, and I am hard of hearing which makes understanding what people are saying to me very difficult! The shop assistant Ertan was excellent and he moved his mask down so that I could read his lips. He was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the perfumes. Ertan went above and beyond to help me with my purchase which I absolutely love. A lovely little shop and I'll be visiting again.

The perfume there is out of this world. You'll find fragrances that will haunt you. The staff is very knowledgeable, you should definitely ask for help because you can't find your way alone with their +60 different perfumes... And the stories behind each bottle is quite entertaining! Only downside is the high price, but that is expected from luxury niche brands.

The BEST place for special gifts! Especially for people who love exquisite smelling perfumes and colognes. The range of hand creams is also excellent. The staff are incredible. Very well trained and friendly and they know exactly which fragrance to recommend based on your tastes. The produce is pricey but justifiably so. This really is the best perfumery in England, and beats anything I've seen in Paris or New York with the customer service alone.

Usually decorated in a very neat style and attention of all staff is absolutely exquisite. You can find famous brand candles of all sizes perfumes and sprays for the home. It is strongly recommended if you want to make a special gift because it's a famous store wrappers and boxes that make it something much more special.

Penhaligon's is a shop I visit to buy really really nicely scented things of all descriptions. The prices are (unsurprisingly) quite high, but so is the quality, and I've never been disappointed with a single product I've bought there. Their shaving soap in particular, is wonderful, and I've been using their Opus 1870 aftershave and shaving balm for quite some time now, and can't imagine wanting to smell of much else, these days! Service at the shop is attentive but unobtrusive, and the people there are always friendly and welcoming.

Some of the best perfumes and really knowledgeable staff. I loved their miniatures, especially the Scent Library. It gives you a chance to try their collection. Would definitely recommend their store for gifts.

This beautiful little shop is honestly part of British culture. Shopped at by royalty, the perfumes are delicate and vivid and everything else in between. The whole atmosphere of the shop is just perfect. The perfumes are pricey, same as you'd get from Harrods, but overall I believe a good investment

Delightful and knowledgeable staff. We came here for a special event - a "scented supper" and the fusion of smells and food was divine! Learnt a lot about the history of the place too, and it is even approved by the queen, although they were not allowed to tell us which product she uses as that is top secret of course. Still the smells were amazing and I love how bespoke it can be to create your own unique scent. Will certainly be coming back here to check out their range of products in more detail and maybe get my own made!

Penhaligon's is utterly charming. Why buy a naff package of celeb-branded stuff when you can visit this beautiful shop instead? The store is just divine; it smells amazing when you walk in, and the staff are really lovely (i.e. experts in their field but not condescending or intimidating at all). Their range is much larger than I originally expected - they sell bath goodies, jewelry and gorgeous cut glass diffusers too. Be sure to ask about their history, as it's a great story.

Having first fallen in love with Penhaligon's in Edinburgh, I visited the flagship branch with high expectations – and it didn't disappoint. The whole place looks more like a theater set than a shop, with so many gorgeous little details whichever way you look. (Hello antique silver pocket mirrors, perfume bottle wallpaper and quirky hankies.) But what really strikes you when you walk in here is the smells... beautiful scents mingle in the air, somehow heady and mouthwatering all at the same time. And the staff are downright amazing too – so passionate and so knowledgeable that it's impossible not to be swept along by their enthusiasm. Honestly, visit here and find your scent, and I'm pretty sure you'll never buy a high street perfume ever again!
