Best shopping experience I’ve had in a while!! I decided to start using make up because of acne scars that I’ve had since my mid 20s which were making me self-conscious, so I decided to Google men’s make up, instead of walking into a make up store to ask how I could manage the appearance of acne scars but was reluctant to as I felt I would be judged. I’m so glad ‘War paint for men’ came up on my search results. I looked at some of their products online and also saw that they have a store next to Oxford Street so I decided to check it out in person. Honestly so glad I did!! It felt so good to walk into their store without being judged for being curious about makeup. The advisor was lovely and she made me feel really comfortable. She also showed me how to apply the various products and I honestly fell in love with the brand as their products are subtle but made my skin look amazing which is what I was looking for. They also had the right shade for my skin tone. I bought most of the products as I was really happy with the results. I also bought their beard and brow filler which helps with patchy beards and eyebrows which I loved because I’ve tried beard fillers from other places which would leave stains on my clothes and would come off on my hands. War paints beard and brow filler is definitely top of the line as it doesn’t leave stains and looks subtle. I got the honour of meeting the owner of the brand (Danny Gray) in store. He’s a really lovely guy and I’m delighted that I got to thank him in person for creating a makeup brand for men.
