Excellent service with an excellent councillor. I had 5 one hour telephone/video consultations. At first I wasn't sure what to expect and wasn't sure how much help these sessions would be. In the event I found the whole process very easy to access and use. My councilor (Yebanji) was excellent. Great listening skills and was able to use what I told her to provide advice and information that was specific to me. She taught me some new coping tools that I did use and found useful. I made such progress that I felt I didn't need my final session! I would 100 % recommend this service and - specifically - my councilor.

The counselling I received at St Martin's was helpful and no-nonsense. It was delivered by a friendly, competent counsellor and was delivered within safe and friendly boundaries. There was certainly no psycho-babble or attempts to confuse you with terminology. They are strict about you paying ahead of time, but always delivered what they said they would. I'd use them again.

My counsellor Kathleen was extremely good and helped me so much I can’t even put it into words. I started with really bad mental health, anxiety and depression and low self esteem. By the time I finished counselling I had a new positive outlook on life, felt more excited about life and I have a new found confidence. Kathleen also gave me the skills to be able to manage my thoughts and emotions so that I feel confident that I can handle difficult situations in the future. She helped me to find the root of all my issues, and made me realise how I am keeping my problems going by the way I think and act. She then gave me loads of new skills and strategies to challenge the way I think and to see how past experiences have effected me. She has helped to build my confidence so much and shared so many useful resources. I couldn’t be more thankful for the counselling experience I have received!
